"Are you okay?!" They helped their friends as Wendy can't help them seeing she was one of them, on the ground, crying in pain.
No one speaks.
Until a soft squeak and sobbing was heard from the smallest dragon slayer.
"…L-Lucy-san…"
They halted in guard.
"What happened to Lucy, Wendy?" Erza gripped her and helped her into sitting position. She brought her head up and stared at the armor girl with tears.
"Lucy-san is…!"
"We can't change the history. They can be repeated whether intentionally or not. But one thing for sure, we can make a new one."
Chapter Seven
"The Repeated History"
Wendy touched the side of her head while the other hand supported her body from falling to the ground. Her eyes widened in fear and sadness as tears flew out uncontrollably. She never thought this would happen. She never ever thought of Lucy as 'her'. She never expected her to be 'her' so soon.
'It can't be.'
"Wendy? Wendy, can you hear me?" Erza shook Wendy's body softly, demanding an answer.
Wendy only looked at her in the eyes with the same frightened gaze she directed to the said Titania. All the dragon slayers and celestial spirits hissed in pain and tried to sit up which some failed to do so.
"…Lucy-san…" Wendy whispered softly but Erza caught her words out loud.
"What happen to Lucy, Wendy? Tell me."
Wendy's lips trembled as she said, "…She is dead…"
Their body froze as they heard the statement coming from little girl like her.
"…What?" Gray said in disbelief. "Don't joke with me! She can't be!" He shouted in anger as tears betrayed him. He fell and punched the ground, "She can survive the three months of hell with him alone. She is alive even now!"
"She is dead!" Wendy shouted. She is rarely shouted and that means she is pretty damn serious. And that dawned on them.
"…How?"
"…I… I don't know… It's just… I… I can feel it…" She looked at her hands and saw a sudden redness covering it. A very unique smell. The smell of steel.
Blood.
And she screamed out loud. Erza lost her grip on Wendy and went to cover her ears. Wendy's cries get louder by any second as she kept chanting "Lucy-san… Lucy-san!" repeatedly.
Erza then turned to Loke and saw the same grieving look. Erza gasped in shock when Virgo grab the hem of Loke's front shirt and slapped him in the face.
"Brother, you can't believe the lies, you hear me? Hime-sama is still alive as I can still feel her magic flowing within me. You must feel it too. If you are not, then you are not her spirit at all." With that she let go of his shirt and Loke fell to the ground head-butt.
All of Lucy's spirit inhaled and closed their eyes and after a moment of silence, their lips curled upwards into a gentle smile—even Aquarius and Virgo.
"Can you feel it? The gentle breeze of love from Hime-sama." Virgo said and bowed deeply at Loke as if saying sorry for slapping him earlier and he nodded as if telling her to brush it aside and thank you for reminding him.
Such a way to communicate, huh.
"…But what happened to Wendy, then? She is so sure that Lucy is … dead…" They turned to grieve.
"I think it was time for us to tell you… About the history of dragons and spirits." Loke started and looked at them in the eye.
"Two thousand years ago, the world is divided into two: The World of Human as we called it 'Earth' today, and The Realm of Dragons. We, Spirits, also have our own Realm, it just we were an unknown existence until 'it' happened." Loke gulped and stared at Capricorn from the corner of his eyes. Capricorn nodded solemnly and Loke urged himself to continue further.
"It just a peaceful day when The Queen of Spirit gave birth to a Princess. The King and The Queen were very happy. It was a beautiful day to start a new life with a newborn princess. At that time, we haven't been born yet. It was still our great great grand-parents era. Suddenly, a black dragon emerged from the sea and roared, causing big havoc in Spirit World. He burned anything he laid his eyes on with his power which known as ancient magic called elemental spell such as fire, lighting, water, ice, wind, air and earth. Half of the Spirit World was destroyed in no matter of second. Suddenly, he turned into a human with dragon tail and horns. Scales also appeared on his face. With a piercing golden eyes, he burned everything that was on his way to Spirit Castle. He was engaged in a battle with Spirit King before he managed to seal him into deep slumber for more than one hundred years. His name was known centuries ago as Kiran, The Ancient God of Dragon. Before he went however he took the Queen and the Princess to the Realm of Dragons and brain-washed the Queen, made her thinking that she is a Dragon and she ruled the Realm of Dragons with hatred and force."
Aquarius opened her mouth when seeing Loke hesitated to continue the serious talk, "As you have known, we spirits can die but we live longer than normal human which was three hundred years. While dragon's lifetime is twofold from us, spirits. When the princess reached her young-adult age which is eighty two years old—in human world is twenty one years old—we finally learnt the reason why Kiran took Spirit Queen and Young Princess and made them sat in Dragon Realm's throne."
"Kiran also known as The Ancient God of Dragon because he was indeed the one who divided the world into two also the first King to rule the Realms of Dragon he created. In the first place, the one who should be the king was his own twin older brother. But that brother of him went to Human World instead. Be a tiny king at a certain kingdom at south sea. That's how he changed into a completely different person." Virgo added the information with her usual poker face and monotone voice.
"Is Zeref the one who turned to be Kiran's twin older brother?" Mira asked.
Natsu took his role and shook his head. "No, Mira. He wasn't."
"Don't you remember what Mavis-san has told us? Zeref is a human who turned mad when Rushielle Heartfillia was killed." Wendy added silently, still in her grieving state.
"Then what is Kiran's reason of taking Spirit Queen and Princess into custody?"
"…"
"Please, explain it all to us. We need to know everything you know regarding Lucy. Please, Loke. Please…" Erza begged.
"…At that era, the princess whose name is Im-Narqa, was known as The Goddess of Three Realms—"
Levy gasped loudly, "I know that title! It was said that once upon a time there was a girl with a lovingly attitude towards everyone she met even though she came from the harsh dimension. She was the main reason of the Imperium War that was happened between three races: Dragon, Spirit and Human Wizard."
"Correct, Levy." Loke congratulated, "That's right. After the spirit King who had been put into deep slumber awakened by a legendary Celestial Mage who summoned him—Sagaru Ichidama, he learned that his wife—The Queen—and his daughter—The Princess—had been taken into custody hundred years ago. He made a pact between Spirit and Human with the one who called him and that's how Celestial Magic was born. And months later—human's time—the Imperium War happened. The three races battled against each other. The Dragons who were going all out to protect their 'princess' and the human and spirit who had made a pact combined their powers to obtain the spirit princess back. The Dragon lost because the human race has its own legendary mage—Kame—who was Kiran's twin older brother."
"What is their connection to Lucy then?"
"…After the war ended, The Queen has been returned to normal. She was so sad when she realized she had killed so many innocent people out there under Kiran's control. She refused to come out from her personal chamber. It was on later days that her daughter—Im-Narqa— found out that her mother was chanting an ancient spell to revive the innocent soul that she had killed. The spell is called In-Aminatum Duras which cost three quarters of her live and brought a rare disease to the user named Morteji. It can be healed, but the Queen refused to be healed. Morteji was causing a great pain as the red blood cells inside your body will enlarge and burst into small particle and the process will start repeatedly. It made you get tired easily and lost your ability to walk."
"…Then did she die?"
"Suprisingly, she didn't. For a quite long time that's it—to be exact thru twenty years which mean The Queen died when Im-Narqa reached the age of twenty six. But before she died, she put all of her remaining magic into her daughter's body—"
"—Wait! Then that means Im-Narqa's magic is so great right? But it was happened after Imperium War. So why did they start the war in the first place? You said that it got something to do with Im-Narqa."
"Great question, Rufus." Erza slapped his head proudly which earned a slight groan from the said victim.
Loke sighed, "Because Im-Narqa's magic—before being combined with his mother's—is a Lost Ancient Magic. At that time, a spirit whose magic was a Lost Ancient Magic was said to be able to change the future of three races as they pleased. And they was only born once in twelve thousand years which that's why even Magic Council didn't have any record according "Lost Ancient Magic" nor Im-Narqa's predecessor. The magic itself has its own soul. They could speak and do whatever they please, turned bad or good, protect the innocent people or killing them mercilessly, it all depends to the reason of why they choose to live. Luckily, Im-Narqa only had one thing on her mind since the day she had been born: To protect the future of the innocent people, dragon and spirit. And The Queen knew the power of her daughter. She used the remaining of her magic to seal Im-Narqa's power for it not to lose control."
"Im-Narqa chose to live in human world after her mother's death. There she met Kame and fell in love with him. Kame was known as a hero because he always risked his live to protect citizen. He was said to come from Viscer Kingdom in south sea as he was the first King of the Kingdom. They got married several years later and Im-Narqa gave birth to a son named Julian and established a new kingdom named: The Kingdom of Heartfillia."

A raven haired man sat on the side of the bed while playing with his fingers. He knew he shouldn't be doing this but what had just happened earlier is scaring him.
And delighting him to no end.
It's just too good to be true.
'Finally, at least you came back to me…' He smirked as bangs covering his red eyes. He felt like jumping around and screaming in joy but restrained himself when he remembered that the love of his life is still in coma at the sudden impact of history.
He stood and looked down on the blonde haired girl, lying on the bed with magic mask to help her breathe and survive the coma.
His hand went and patted her head lovingly. He bent down to her ear level and whispered with a smirk plastered on his face.
"Welcome back, Rushielle."
Oh, oh, oooooh
What does Zeref mean by "Welcome back, Rushielle." ?
And what does the relation of Kame, Kiran, Im-Narqa, Imperium War and Lucy?
