Hey everybody, now this is my first story! What I wanted to do with this was that I wanted to make a series similar to Modern Family and The Office, but with an IT template covered with it. It'll be more comical but also dramatic at points. This story basically pretends that IT chapter two never happened in the Movie Verse, where this story takes place.
YORK, MAINE
"You wanna know the most obvious part of being lose for hours in a sewer as a child as a writer? Despite the sleepless nights and PTSD. You don't really have a great sense of not writing something original." Bill said to the cameraman before pulling out his phone and taking a sip of coffee.
"For example, here's the first story I want to release as an author. The House On Neibolt Street: life in Derry Maine is simple. Not much happens, no one famous is known, and it's town's history is a mystery *chuckles* that rhymes, I think. But when children begin to go missing under no known circumstances, it's up to seven losers to face their worst fears in order to discover what's happening, and what lurks underneath the town's core. The ending is similar to my sewer story." Bill said.
*insert The Office style intro*
The House of The Losers.
Episode 1: Reunion.
Bill's car enters the parking lot.
"When I met my old friends at a bar, we all just finished college. Most of us knew that if we lived on our own specifically, that we wouldn't be able to pay bills: so I, being the so called leader of the old Losers Club, suggested that we all move under one roof. And we all already had a plan for jobs. I would be an author, and I don't exactly remember what everyone else said, I had too much to drink that night." Bill said in an interview.
He walked up to the house and waited for whoever had all the keys to the place.
Another car pulled up and Beverly Marsh exited the car.
Bill smiled and walked up to her and hugged her. "Hey Bevey." Bill said.
"Hi billy." Bev said.
"So, you have the keys?" Bill asked.
"No. Don't remember who was suppose to." Beverly said.
Bill sighed and walked under the house to get some shade on this rather hot day.
"As soon as I turned 18, I left my family behind to be 100% honest. My father was insane, and I was dating a psycho at the time, so I went to college, and now I'm a fashion designer. Well, almost. I just have to come up with something. That's why I always carry a sketch book with me." Beverly said to the cameraman.
They saw a man in a motorcycle drive up to the driveway wearing a helmet.
"Who is that?" Beverly asked.
"I don't know, one of those WeatherTech guys in the commercial?" Bill guessed.
The man took the helmet off and it was Ben.
Bill sighed. "Hey Ben." Bill said ashamed of himself. Bill remembered when he ran into Ben at the bar, he thought he was just some stranger. But he convinced them by showing them old 80's recorded videos he saved on his phone, then they were convince.
"While I believe that it was a coincidence that we all ran into each other at a bar at the same time, I didn't think I would be one of two of the losers that didn't go to college. I knew from Day One that Richie wouldn't go to college. But anyway, I wanted to convince my parents that I could do something without anyone's help. So, with my own income and passion, I started my own business. It wasn't great at first, but eventually I made it work, and now I'm one of the biggest household companies in the world, if only Henry Bowers could see me now. And I mean, literally see me." Ben said. At the end, mentioning his new body.
"Any of you have the keys?" Ben asked the two of them.
"No." They both said.
"Strange. Who's suppose to get them?" Ben said.
Another car showed up and this time Eddie appeared out of it.
"When I first found out that my inhaler my mother said helped me didn't really and I really just had a lot of anxiety, I was kinda shock. But that didn't mean I still got rid of it. I got one a few weeks ago." Eddie said as he grabbed the red inhaler. "I know it doesn't work, but what the heck, sometimes I use it to calm myself. Anyway, so I work at a hospital. Sure at points, I feel like I'll die of fear, but I'm more of the check up doctor, and I'm not ashamed."
"Keys?" Eddie asked the triangle.
"No." Ben said.
"Damn it, I thought Bill had them." Eddie said.
ANOTHER CAR SHOWED UP. And this time, it was Mike.
"When I was a boy, my family worked by selling meat and killing sheep. So, what better way to get over that than to sell those as a store clerk." Mike said. "Wait."
"Anyone have the keys? All I have are the keys to the Stop&Shop." Mike said.
"Despite that we have full access to a grocery store whenever we want, no." Beverly said.
"Calling it, it's Stan." Eddie said.
"Why Stan?" Bill asked.
"Cause why would we give the job to Richie?" Eddie replied.
Stan showed up to the scene. "Judging by the fact that I wasn't much of a religious person unlike my parents, I felt like that I should lay low religious wise. So, I became an English Teacher. It was a simple job, and I feel like I have that teacher look, so, I'm in the clear." Stan said.
"I don't have the keys." Stan said.
"Wait, so you're telling me that out of all of us, we gave the job to Richie?" Ben asked.
"Seems like it." Mike said.
"Why!" Ben said.
Richie showed up. "Hey everybody. Why are we all waiting outside?"
"I am a standup comedian. I get paid to stand up, it's in the name. I didn't got to college, I just watched a lot of comedy shows. I think I'm pretty good at this." Richie said.
"Do you have the keys?" Mike asked.
"Wait, that was my job?" Richie said.
Bill got up and entered his car. "I'll be back." Bill said as he turned it on.
"I'll come with." Eddie said entering the passenger seat.
"Wait! Here's the type of keys we need." Mike said passing a paper to Bill.
"Thanks. I'll give to whoever's there." Bill said before driving off.
"I guess while I'm at it, I'll go to get something to eat." Ben said heading to his car.
"Alright then, we'll just wait." Mike said.
"Actually, I'm going to get some groceries." Stan said.
"That's okay." Mike said.
Stan went to his car and drove off along with Ben.
"The main reason why I went with Bill was to avoid possible drama with Richie. Not that I couldn't handle it, but it's just that I wouldn't want to be seen by people walking by. Yikes that would've been embarrassing." Eddie said.
Bill and Eddie drove to the key department and exited the car.
"I'll do the talking, you just stand there." Bill said.
"Alright." Eddie said.
They entered the building and walked up to the person at the front desk.
"Ex*stutters*cuse me. C*stutters again*an you help us?" Bill asked.
Eddie cringed.
"I haven't really gotten pass my stuttering phase at all. I've tried, never worked out. On the plus side, this is a reason why I became a writer, I can type words without having to worry about stuttering." Bill said.
"Yes. What can I help you with?" The man said.
"We*stutters*ll, I wo*stutters more*uld like you to help us by get*stutters MORE*ting Se-"
"You know what I'll say it; we would like Seven keys with this type on them." Eddie said passing the man the paper Mike gave Bill.
The man grabbed it. "Any specific key looks you want?" The man said.
"Well for me, I would like it to be plain white. For the Blue Power Ranger we'll use a plain yellow. For our new roomates, one will be silver (Ben), one will be black (Beverly), one will be camo (Richie), one will be a tanish color (Mike), and one will be blue (Stanley). Can you do that?" Eddie said.
"Sure." The man said before walking away.
Meanwhile, Ben is sitting at a diner, eating bacon and eggs, cause why not.
"You know, when I started to grow weight, I was a freshman in high school. What happened was that I lost a bet about joining the track team, and I did, I was made fun of, even by the coach. So, I started to work out for 3 hours a day, seven days a week, for about a year. At first no one notice it, but soon, people noticed." Ben said to the cameraman.
Back with Eddie and Bill, they just got back with the keys to the others, who at this point were sweating their butts off.
"Okay, where's Ben and Stan?"
"Ben went to eat while Stan was getting food." Richie said as Stan showed up.
Stan exited the car and food dropped out of it.
"I could use some help guys!" Stan exclaimed.
"How much food did you order, and how much money did you spend?!" Mike asked.
"Oh, just a couple hundred bucks, now help! Someone open the door." Stan said.
"I'll do the honor." Beverly said grabbing a key and going to the door.
Just then, Ben showed up.
Beverly opened the door to see the massive house. Although it was pretty bland with basic tan color walls, furniture, and no photos, it still looked really nice.
Everyone entered. "It's a slow start, but we can paint it, buy a few photos, some other stuff." Ben said.
"Yeah. But for now, let's just look around." Beverly said.
"Will do." Bill said.
