He was eager to taste her sweetness again; her skin was so radiant beneath her lime green cotton dress. He knew she was hiding a beautiful woman. He didn't want to spend their time arguing about what their title was.

"Choose me. Hold me. Love me. Why is that so hard for you?" Narcissa cried out in frustration.

"Nicca, come on, you're married."

It had been tough between the lovers lately, Narcissa had pulled away from him for a while, and perhaps she didn't think he was serious about her. Theo wasn't much of a talker, he preferred using actions. The day they finally chose to be together wasn't the start of a relationship that only came along much later.

"Are you saying that things would be different if I wasn't?" she asked.

"Well, of course it would," Theo said logically.

It had been a couple of weeks since Theo had seen Narcissa, and as much as it pained him to admit it, he had fallen in love with his best friend's mother. He walked up to the Manor, empty of the Malfoy men, and knocked on the door. He was holding a bouquet of aquamarine flowers; it was Narcissa's favourite colour. He remembered noting how often she chose aquamarine to wear beneath her dresses. She was as radiant as ever, and she took him by the hand, pulling him into the Manor, slamming the door behind them. The flowers fell to the floor during their kisses, and she laughed when they paused. "Let me get those," she said. As she bent over, Theo admired her shape.

He followed her to the kitchen, where she placed the flowers in a vase. "Some wine?" she asked.

Theo nodded. "Are we celebrating?"

Narcissa gave him a wide beaming smile. "Yes, he finally agreed to a divorce."

"That's wonderful," Theo said, jumping up to grab her in his excitement.

"Yes, it wasn't like he hadn't been involved in his own, how can I put it? Extra-curricular activities?"

Theo hated the fact that he had been the dirty little secret for so long, and he couldn't wait to show the world how much he loved and respected this woman. It might all have started out as a physical relationship, but he wanted so much more from her.

"Surely, I am more than that?" Theo asked, disgust slightly colouring his tone.

"Yes, don't you know how much I love you, Theo?"

"We should go on a date," Theo said. She chuckled, but nodded in agreement.

The two of them left Malfoy Manor, and Theo moved to take Narcissa's hand in his. Theo had chosen to accompany her to her new apartment. She smiled at him happily. Theo was dragging Narcissa's bags behind him. She was moving out, and they were official. Draco hadn't been pleased when his parents went through the divorce, but when he saw how happy Theo made his mother, he couldn't help but give them his blessing.

Before Narcissa could drop his hand to open the door to her new apartment, he grabbed her close and kissed her in plain view of all the people walking down the streets.

"Theo," she gasped, scandalised by his boldness.

"We don't need to hide anymore," he grinned.

"I thought part of what kept you interested was our secret excursions in the Manor," Narcissa admitted with a slight pink tinge on her cheeks.

"Forget what happened in the Manor, now it's just you and me, and all the time in the world," Theo said. He had realised that it had never been about words, it had been the uncertainty of the relationship that made them both hold back. Theo didn't know if Narcissa would leave Lucius, and Narcissa seemed to believe he was all about the thrill.
