Hey everyone! This story was brought to you by Gift Tag on Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Gift Tag: For Gwen Tony/Loki (setting) library

Warning for fluff and a bit out of character. Word count is 738 words. I hope you enjoy Library Gift.

Stepping back and admiring the hard work he'd put into this, the most perfect of gifts, Tony smiled to himself. He'd been working hard on this present since his dark-haired lover had mentioned missing the library of Asgard.

"Friday," Tony called out to the AI system, "are all the books I mentioned present and accounted for?"

"Everyone of them, sir," The AI's feminie voice confirmed what he'd already know.

Tony walked down the long rows of books taking in each title. Some he'd never even heard of before he'd heard Loki talk about the library he used to have on Asgard. Then he came across one tome he was very familiar with. A smile crossed his face as he left his work of art. Perhaps he could lead the handsome Asgardian to said book and hope for the best.

"Alright, Reindeer Games," Tony said, using his old familiar nickname for Loki, putting his hands over Loki's eyes, "come with me."

"What is this, Stark, and why must I be blinded to go with you?" the annoyed Asgardian voice broke the silence as the duo left Loki's comfortable chamber in Stark tower. "Are you finally going to walk me off the platform tower?" Loki chuckled at his own joke, hoping that that wasn't the case. Not that he couldn't find a way out of such a situation, he'd so millions of times before. He just hoped that they had gotten past this point in their relationship.

"No," Tony said reassuringly. "Nothing like that. If I wanted to do something like that I would have done it before now, wouldn't I?"

"You have a fair point. But I still wish to know why I can't see where I'm going?"

"It's a surprise. Looks you're just going to have to trust me on this one, huh?"

"I guess I will."

Tony watches the resigned set of Loki's jaw as he leads him down the hallway to his gift. He knows that even though Loki's still somewhat unsure of trusting, that the Asgardian prince will pretty much enjoy the gift. Especially once he realizes what it is.

The door to the newly built library hisses open as they approach, just the way that he'd designed it to. He was pretty sure that opening and closing doors was below Asgardian standards. They all pretty much learn that after the swarm of wasps incident that Thor perpetuated.

"Are we there yet?" Loki asked, the annoyance making a new appearance in his smooth calculating voice.

"A few more steps," Tony said, moving the dark-haired green clad being into the center of the library he'd made him.

Taking in his months long work once more he grinned happily to himself. This could be their escape, if he was allowed in that was. The big comfortable looking green armchairs. The long redwood tables. The lamps that hung from the ceiling overhead so as not to a cast shadow when the reader was reading. He looked over to make sure the climate controls were set to the perfect setting for Loki. Once he was satisfied he pulled his hands away from Loki's eyes with a "Ta da!" as he spread his arms wide with pride.

Tony watched as Loki's expression changed from one of annoyance to a mixture of pure awe and concern. He turned to Tony with a raised eyebrow.

"Did you do this for me?" he asked, walking over and running a hand along the smooth silky green fabric of the armchair in front of him.

Tony nodded. "Do you like it?" he asked, hope filling his voice. This was the one thing he had done that wasn't solely for his own benefit. He'd done this for someone else. For someone he was slowly starting to care for more and more by the day.

"I do. I just don't understand…"

"There's nothing to understand. It's a gift. Enjoy."

Tony could see the dark-haired, dark-eyed Asgardian opening his mouth to argue the point further. Not thinking at all, he closed the distance between the two of them and pressed his lips against Loki's.

After a few seconds he pulled back and laced his finger through the confused man's own. "Come on there is this book I think we should check that you might find enlightening," he said, leading Loki down the aisle where he'd left his find from earlier. Tony was pretty sure he now loved libraries.

I hope you enjoyed Library Gift as much as I enjoyed writing it. I would also like to point out that is this the first time I'm writing the pairing of Tony/Loki so I hope I did them justice in this.
