Chapter 1:

Rachel POV:

Summer had just ended, and I can't believe that I actually became friends with one of the most popular girls at school. I hoped Junior year was going to be good.

I pulled my algebra and history books out of my locker and closed it.

"Boo!" Brittani smiled mischievously as she surprised me from behind my locker door, I didn't notice her next to me.

I had a mini heart attack and had my hand to my chest. "Brittany, I suggest you announce your presence next time." I could feel my cheeks warming up.

She grinned at me. "That wouldn't be fun." She said poking my cheeks. "You look cute when you're all red."

I blushed even more. "B-Brittany!"

She giggled but nodded. "Okay, okay…I'm done teasing you…for now. Let me walk you to class?"

I slowly calmed down and cleared my throat. "Brittany, your class is on the opposite side of the building."

Brittani pouted, and it was hard to resist. "But I want to walk you to your class…"

I resisted. "Britt..." I said softly. "I'll see you later, okay?" I said tapping her nose.

I was surprised at first, when I started being touchy with her. I wasn't sure but I just know that I have come to really like the adorable blonde. After Finn broke up with me, I had gone to the only ice cream shop that I knew that sold vegan choices. Brittany was working there and comforted me while she ate ice cream with me. After that she hung around me more, I appreciated and adored her company.

She's not stupid like people say she is. She's actually very smart, probably one of the smartest people I know. She just prefers to keep it to herself though, I'm not sure why but I'm sure she has her reasons.

"Rach?" Brittany asked curiously as she stared at me.

I blushed and let go of her cheek. "I apologize, I was daydreaming for a second."

She giggled. "That was more than a second, Rach."

"I—"

I opened my mouth to say something but was interrupted by a loud voice.

"Why the heck are you talking to Manhands, B?" Santana asked Brittany as she glared at me.

I gulped but looked defiantly back at Santana.

Brittany pouted. "Rach won't let me walk her to class and don't call her that, San."

"Why would you want to?" Santana frowned as she continued. "And why can't I call her Manhands, B?"

Brittany's POV:

I grabbed Rachel's right hand put it against my own. Her hands we're smaller, they looked adorable next to mine. "San look!" I showed her how mine was bigger.

"My hands are bigger than hers, I should know I've been holding them during summer." I said with a grin.

Santana and Quinn we're away for the summer with their families. Santana went to visit family somewhere outside Lima, and Quinn went with her family to visit her older sister, wherever that was. I was stuck here by myself so I got a job at an ice cream shop where I became friends with Rachel. She was nice, and she smelled so good all the time. I've always been touchy so it wasn't a surprise when I touched her hand.

We would go to the mall together and I'd hold her hand or intertwine our arms while we walked, so I was used to the feeling of her small soft hands.

"What do you mean you've been holding them during summer?!" San screamed as Rachel blushed.

"I—" The warning bell went off to get us into class.

Rachel touched my arm for a brief second and softly smiled. "I'll see you later, Brit." She turned to Santana and gave her a tight lipped smile as she walked away.

We all had homeroom together and it only last around thirty minutes. We just go homeroom to discuss unnecessary things like books and stuff like that.

I turned around and was about to walk away when Santana gently grabbed my arm and started to drag me, on the way Quinn had been standing at her locker so she dragged her too, into an empty class room.

"B, please explain." Santana crossed her arms in front of me.

Quinn looked annoyed at being dragged but sat at a nearby seat. "Explain what exactly?"

Santana growled, "Why she was holding Man— Berry's hands during the summer?"

Quinn cocked an eyebrow at that and turned to me.

I shrugged. "Her hands are soft."

Author's POV:

Quinn was even more annoyed now. "Are they now?" She said sarcastically.

Brittany grinned and nodded. "All of her is soft!"

Santana's jaw dropped. "W-What do you mean all of her?"

"Her hands are soft, so is her arms…face…" Brittany explained. "Oh and her tummy is soft too!" She added in.

It was Quinn's turn for her jaw to drop, she couldn't hide her surprise anymore. "What do you mean tummy? What have you been doing with the midget!?"

Quinn has known that Brittany has had a few experiences with girls, more often and recently secretly been having fun with Santana. She just wasn't sure how far the taller blonde's feeling went. Brittany and Santana were her best friends, but she grew up in a religious household so she's always felt weird when confronted with truth about them.

"I slept over at her house last week before school started, and I hugged her while we slept. I guess her shirt went up while we were sleeping because my hand was on her cute stomach when I woke up." Brit explained calmly. Her cute but very toned stomach. Brittany addedto herself, she could tell the girls were already riled up with all the information she was saying. She was ditzy sometimes but she could read a situation at times.

Quinn recovered but still annoyed. "So are you and Berry friends now?"

Brittany smiles softly and nodded. "Yes, but…" For the first time, Brittany blushed.

Santana raised an eyebrow at her blush. "But what?"

"I've been wanting more…" Brittany shyly admitted.

Quinn and Santana looked at each other. Quinn knew of Santana's real feelings for Brittany but she's been pushing the taller blonde away in fear of being a social outcast.

Santana angrily stared at the floor. She had been messing around with Brittany since they got to high school. It was fun and games but she did love the ditzy blonde. She was adorable and nice and everything that wasn't Santana, so Brittany had kept her grounded.

"I don't know what to tell you B." Santana said walking out of the classroom visibly upset.

Quinn understood why, since she knew about Brittany and Santana, so she gave Brittany a weak shrug and followed Santana out. Brittany sighed and slowly walked. They walked around a bit so they didn't have to go to first period.

They all took their time getting to the same English class. They were walking next to each other but none seemed to know what to say.

As soon as they into the classroom, they remembered their second class was with a certain diva they all had mixed feelings about.

As soon as Brittany saw Rachel, her face immediately changed from sad to incredibly happy.

"Fuck my life…" Santana mumbled to herself.

Quinn rolled her eyes but felt the same.

Brittany on the other side was walking up to the guy sitting next to Rachel. She smiled at him. "Hi."

The guy blushed as he realized one of the most popular girls were talking to him. "H-Hi, D-Did you need something Brittany?"

"Yeah I need your seat." She said with a smile.

He got disappointed but got up anyway to accommodate the blonde.

The blonde smiled at him and took his seat. She turned to Rachel next to her. Rachel looked surprised but very touched.

Rachel blushed and smiled at Brittany. "Hi Brit." She said softly.

Brittany grinned back. "Hi Star."

Rachel tilted her head. "Star?"

Brittany smiled and nodded. "Because you're my star."

If possible, Rachel blushed even more.

They both turned to the front, but having very different thoughts.

She's so nice to me. Rachel thought as she softly smiled at no one.

She's so cute. Brittany smiled as she blankly stared at the board not listening to the teacher at all.

Quinn frowned as she saw Brittany and Rachel's interactions. She in turn also turned to the front angry at no one but herself. She got a strong feeling of dislike as she saw Rachel blushing over Brittany blatant flirting. Maybe that means I'm Team Santana? Quinn thought as she glared at anyone who glanced at her.

Santana also looked at them as she glared at the red of Rachel's cheek. What does she have that I don't? I'm sure I'm prettier than ManHands. She turned around before she decided to kill the midget for smiling at Brittany all shy and shit.

Fuck.Fuck.Shit.Crap. I hate my life.Santana stared angrily at her desk. She wanted to see how and why Brittany liked the dwarf. I'll just have to see for myself. Santana sat properly and glared at the teacher, judging her stupid flowery patterned dress.

After School:

After school, Rachel always had a tendency to use the bathroom before Glee Club.

She took out her teeth cleaning kit and brushed and flossed her teeth. She has burned in her mind that to become a star, she has to be perfect.

Manageable hair.

Exceptional skin.

Straight and white teeth.

She smiled at herself at the mirror as she checked her teeth for any spots she missed.

She grabbed her stuff and was about to go outside when the bathroom door swung open to show a fiery Latina.

She smirked and pushed Rachel back inside. "Hold up, Dwarf."

Oh no she's going to kill me. Rachel panicked. "We're going to be late for Glee Club."

Santana shook her head. "Calm down, no we're not, we'll get there in time."

Santana stayed in front of Rachel is a frown on her face.

"Have I done anything to offend you, Santana?" Rachel asked nervously, but she knew she hadn't done anything. They just came back, how could she have done something to agitate one of the Unholy Trinity.

"Your whole self is offensive, RuPaul." Santana sneered as she started to walk towards Rachel.

Rachel swallowed. "I meant, is there anything you need assistance on?"

Next thing she knows the taller brunette had backed her up onto the wall. Santana put her left palm against the wall beside Rachel's ear, and let her body lean on her arm, close enough to intimidate the singer.

"I'd like to ask you why you're clinging to Brittany." Santana growled as she mentioned the blonde.

"I am not entirely sure what you're implying, but I am not 'clinging' to anyone." Rachel said back in confidence.

Santana was a little taken back by the sudden defiance, but quickly shook it off as she scowled at the small singer in front of her. She leaned her face closer to the diva. I guess she doesn't look that bad. Her skin does look soft. Her own thoughts surprised her.

"I don't know what you're trying to do, but stay away from Brittany!" Santana said angrily, more at herself for thinking weird thoughts.

As much as Rachel hated to admit it, Santana was gorgeous. I mean far away the taller brunette was pretty but up close her features were perfect. Of she is, all three of them are. Rachel said to herself.

Santana smirked and looked Rachel dead in the eyes, but faltered once she noticed something. It was quick and barely noticeable and it also might be the fact that she didn't eat lunch…but she thought she saw Rachel's eyes go down to her lips.

No, that's not possible. I think I'm hungry. Santana thought as she backed away from the diva. "J-Just stay away!"

Rachel blinked as she was confused as to why the cheerio had stuttered as she left the bathroom. She had to idea what to think about the interaction she just had with the cheerleader. She took a deep breath as she grabbed her stuff and headed for the glee club.

When she got to the room, everybody was already in their seats. Brittany seemed to be the only one excited to see her enter. She smiled at the blonde and headed towards her. The other two cheerio were on the higher seats, so she wasn't afraid to sit with Brittany for today.

She kept quiet the whole time, and of course she was sure no one noticed as she pondered at the events that happened before glee club. Lost in thought, she didn't notice three sets of eyes that were subtly glancing in her direction.

Santana's House:

The brunette was laying in bed thinking about her first day back. When she went to the bathroom with Rachel, she had motive of trying to see what Brittany saw in the short girl, but it all crashed with one look from the diva that Santana wasn't even sure that she saw. She sat up and slapped her cheeks lightly. "Snap out of Santana! You were just hungry! There is no way that Berry looked at your lips. No. Way."

She looked at the wallpaper on her phone, it was a picture of Brittany and herself taking a selfie. She smiled at the picture. The blonde was perfect in every way in her eyes. She put her phone down as she sighed. Santana knew she wasn't perfect for the blonde. She was aggressive, harsh, and just plain mean. She laid back down on the bed and closed her eyes thinking of the blonde.

Santana's POV:

Behind my closed eyes, there was no blonde in sight. Instead, I was in the auditorium. Suddenly, a sweet melody started to play. Entranced, I turned to follow the melody. I looked up at the stage and saw a slim body. I couldn't see who it was yet, but I was curious so I moved closer. As I got to the steps, I realized that there were words on each step, written with white flower petals.

I'm

In

Love

With

You!

My heart swelled up and couldn't help myself from smiling.

When I finally got on stage, I was greeted with a sweet smile from my favorite person. The blonde grinned at me. "San, You're here!"

"I'm here." I replied in a soft tone that was reserved for the blonde.

I couldn't help but appreciate and just stare at the blonde, but as I looked into Brittany's eyes, blue turned to brown. Brittany's height shrunk as her blonde ponytail turned into flowing light brown hair that rested on her shoulders with bangs that covered her forehead. Lastly the sweet smile I was used to morphed into a shy smile that was familiar but directed at me.

Finn…Puck…Mr. Schue…even Mike and Matt experienced it.

"Rachel?" I asked confused.

Rachel still had a shy smile on her face. "Hi…" She answered shyly, the diva had never interacted with me like this. It was driving me mad, because of how adorable it was.

She looked up and blushed. "W-Wait…Just sit there and let me do something." She said as she pointed to a chair that was in front of the piano.

I did as I was told.

Next thing I know I heard a familiar melody on the piano.

Everybody loves the things you do

From the way you talk to the way you move

She looked at me, still looking adorably shy.

Everybody here is watching you

'Cause you feel like home

You're like a dream come true

I felt like I was truly melting. I've sang with her before and heard her sing to others, but I've never experienced being sang to by her.

But if by chance you're here alone

Can I have a moment before I go?

'Cause I've been by myself all night long

Hoping you're someone I used to know

You look like a movie

You sound like a song

My God, this reminds me

Of when we were young

Let me photograph you in this light

In case it is the last time

That we might be exactly like we were

Before we realized

We were sad of getting old

It made us restless

Oh I'm so mad I'm getting old

It makes me reckless

It was just like a movie

It was just like a song

When we were young

As soon as the song ended, Rachel started to walk towards me. "San…" She said in a whisper, as she softly smiled at me.

I didn't realize how much Rachel's shy smile affected me, it was overwhelming.

"Y-Yes?" I replied nervously as I stood up from the seat.

"You're beautiful." Rachel stated softly.

I barely processed it when Rachel suddenly was against my body and soft, warm lips were pressed against my own.

My eyes flew open and sat up. I looked out and realized it was dark outside. I breathed heavily and realized that I was sweating. A warm familiar feeling was in my stomach.

"What the fuck?!"

Chapter 2:

Three Cheerios had a tradition of walking down the main hallway to inspire a little fear in their school. Yesterday being the exception, because Quinn had to meet with Coach Sylvester. But today was going to continue their tradition that had started when Quinn became head Cheerio.

The main doors and they walked in. They held their heads high and put on their bitch face, glaring at anyone who stared at them too long. Well… that's what it seemed but all three girls were subtly scanning the hallway for a certain diva. Until they caught sight of her.

The target of their attention was smiling softly at something she saw inside her locker.

Santana saw her smile and her thoughts flew back to her dream the night before. She thanked God for her skin, because the slight blush wasn't as noticeable. She saw Rachel's smile and imagined what it would feel like if it were aimed at her.

Quinn saw that Rachel was holding a white rose. She scowled, Who gave her that stupid rose? She wondered who knew her favorite flower was a white rose.

Brittany on the other hand was beaming. She had to keep her composure because she knew the other girls would be upset if she blew their traditional head bitches walk. She had to wait until they were at the end to let go.

She happily skipped to Rachel. "Hi, Star!"

Rachel recognized the voice so she looked up with a shy smile. "Hi, Brit."

Santana glance quickly but enough to see the same exact smile she saw in her dream. She felt weird. Jealousy? Santana nodded to herself. Yeah, that's it, I'm jealous of Berry 'cuz she has B's attention…That's it. She roughly slammed her locker after she got her morning books. Stupid Berry, touching what's mine!

The taller brunette walked over to Rachel's locker. "B, lets go! We're gonna be late for homeroom."

"San, I want to walk Rachel to her homeroom!" Brittany whined to Santana.

"Berry has her own legs she can walk herself." Santana said sarcastically.

Brittany turned to Rachel with pout. "Rachy…"

Rachel softly giggled and poked Brittany's cheek. "I'll see you next period, Brit."

Santana was a little shook hearing Rachel's giggle. She's never heard that, probably because she's never played around with her. There was that weird feeling again, she roughly shook her head. Nope! Just jealous of Berry. That's it!

Santana rolled her eyes and took Brittany's arm. "Let's go B!"

Rachel watched them leave, a little amused at Brittany's pout. She gave Brittany a small wave.

Brittany's pout instantly turned into a smile and waved back. She's so cute.

Santana stopped dragging Brittany when she heard her comment, but also because they arrived at their class. She frowned at Brittany.

Brittany finally looked at Santana. "Did I say that out loud?"

Santana nodded.

Brittany gave Santana an apologetic look, feeling guilty but she didn't know what else to say to her. She walked into class leaving the awkward air of silence.

Santana didn't know what she wanted to say to the blonde. She did but like always it got stuck in her throat. She gave a defeated sigh and followed Brittany inside.

Quinn's POV:

I had gotten to class before my two counterparts, because I didn't feel like suffering through Brittany-Rachel interactions. According to the defeated look on Santana's face, I made the right choice to leave first.

I knew what the brunette was going through, Santana and I were the same after all. We let pride and shame come first rather than what we really desire. I slightly nudged Santana. "Are you good?"

Santana pursed her lips and put on her cold façade, one that I'm familiar with and one that I also put on myself. I knew what to say to her, I knew how to make things better, but I couldn't say it. I couldn't tell her that we need to let our feelings be known.

After homeroom, I headed to the bathroom. When I entered, I saw a brunette carefully washing her hands. I paused when the brunette turned to look at me.

"Quinn…" Rachel said. My heart fluttered when I heard my name from her lips.

I cleared my throat and proceeded to enter. "Berry…"

I went to the sinks and fixed myself. I could feel her staring at me. "Do you have something to say to me, Berry?" I internally flinch when I call her that, but it was part of my façade that goes on automatically around her. I turned to her and saw that she was looking down with a hurt look on her face. I couldn't bear to look at her, I turned back to myself in the mirror.

"I just wanted to say that you look good today…I-I mean you look wonderful every day, but you look great out of your cheerleader outfit, which also looks great on you. I just thought that you should know that. I'm sure you already hear it often, but I just wanted say it. T-That's all…" She rambled on. I thought her rambling was adorable, but also I could feel myself starting to blush, so I quickly rinsed my hands and turned my back on her with the excuse of drying my hands so she wouldn't see the pink on my cheeks. Coach Sylvester had to call in sick for the first time, because she supposedly caught a cold. Which is why we were all our out of our cheerleaders' outfits. I know Coach wasn't sick, she probably went somewhere to have a short change of scene to cause havoc somewhere else.

I heard her sigh and soft footsteps. I heard her open the door slowly.

"Thank you." I said firmly so she could hear it. "You look pretty today too."

I turned around to see her frozen at the door. I walked past her and left the bathroom.

My heart was pounding, that was the most honest thing I've ever said to her. Slowly…Maybe I could do this. Maybe I could tell her what I feel. Maybe she'll let me like her. Maybe she'll trust me.

Maybe…she'll like me back.

Author's POV:

Rachel walked into her second period class, looking very stunned and surprised. She called me pretty. That was the nicest thing she's ever said to me. Maybe…there's a small chance we can still be friends…I'm already friends with Brittany…

She was shaken from her thoughts as she realized that there was only one seat left. It was in the front
