Ororo flew back to the Institute with T'Challa's blessing. She was an extremely capable pilot, and wanted to get home as soon as possible. She enjoyed the hard work that was put into the past few months, and enjoyed seeing her people. She was comfortable leaving because she knew they were safe and being taken care of. T'Challa would make sure of that. And even though she denied it at first, she accepted the gifted jet that would get her home quickly and safely. As much as she knew he would take care of Wakanda, he knew he would still find a way to take of her.

For now everything was okay, and she was able to return to what she loved: her friends, her greenhouse, and teaching. She missed the young ones more than anything, and couldn't wait to get back into her office to start lesson planning.

When she landed, she checked the time and determined that school was actually in progress at the moment. She thought it was better that way. She could use the time to enter the Institute quietly and acclimate herself to things. She didn't feel much like unpacking, so after exiting the jet, she went to look for Xavier.

Her first guess was right; he was in his office speaking with Hank. They didn't mind her coming in, and continued their conversation about the Institute's finances. She sat down in front of the desk and began to think. She was Xavier's right hand woman. Sometimes, he would swear up and down that she knew more about the place than he did. He would always grab her hand and offer up a gentle smile, saying, "What would I have done without you, Ororo?" But she knew he was more capable than anyone she knew. She loved him as a father figure, and would do anything for him without question.

"Ororo?"

She paused her thoughts and looked up to find the two men staring at her.

"So sorry," she said while sitting up straighter and smoothing her clothes out.

"That's quite alright, Ororo. I am sure that it has been a stressful four months for you." He looked at her questioningly. "So, is everything handled? And, more importantly, are you staying?"She laughed softly. "Yes, Charles. Thank you for asking. As of yesterday the treaty of Wakanda and surrounding villages was put into effect. I only hope that everyone can keep their promises and uphold the treaty.

Charles nodded. "I hope so too, for all our sake. Anyway, I'm so happy to have you back."

"I'm very happy to be back, professor."

There was a brief moment of silence before Hank piped up. "Have you spoken to Logan yet?" He looked at her with raised eyebrows, obviously wanting to know every detail about her situation. She knew that Charles was listening more attentively by the way that he stopped writing, but pretended to continue on while looking down at his paper.

She shook her head. "No, I haven't spoken to him yet, I've hardly been here for ten minutes! Besides, I wanted to check up on my favorite friends first."

They simply looked at her, knowing smiles on their faces. She sighed and turned red saying, "...How is he?"

Charles was the one to speak up on this.

"He's doing better than I expected- better for being Logan, I mean."

Storm nodded in understanding. She was still hung up on the fact that Logan had stayed at the Institute the entire time just as he promised.

The professor continued. "He's his usual grumpy self, but he has taken on extra responsibility since you've been gone. He's been taking small groups of students who want to get better defensively into the Danger Room for more practice." He perked up even more before saying, "And he only made 3 of them cry. Truly, I'm impressed!"

Hank continued. "He spends most mornings in your greenhouse, Ororo."

She nodded, "Yes, I know. What he's doing with the girls is so nice and thoughtful of him."

"No, my friend," he said. "That happens in the evenings. Really, most days, no matter the time, we can find him there. He's probably there now." He motioned out the window and towards the general direction of the greenhouse.

She sat back in her chair as the magnitude of what was said sunk in. He was never one to be enclosed for so long. She didn't know what to say, and told them just that.

"Don't say anything, my dear. Why don't you simply pay your greenhouse a visit?"

She happily stood and left them to their discussion. She was almost certain they would be discussing herself and a certain Wolverine when she left. It was almost as if they were holding their breaths and waiting for the door to click shut.

When it did, they looked at each other. Charles sighed. "I wish they would finally tell each other. Maybe they will today."

"Well," Hank said while squinting in disbelief, "let's not bet on it." They continued working out budgets for the upcoming year.

She walked towards the greenhouse with an elaborate plan to catch Logan off guard, but when she came upon it he was no where to be found. Slightly disappointed, she figured since she was here already, she would check up on her plants and water a few if needed. She grabbed the empty watering can that was hanging up, and made a beeline for the sink.

"Hey 'Ro."

She stopped instantly and turned around. She had absolutely no idea how he could get the best of her every time. She was about to hit him with the watering can, and was still debating on following through with it. Instead she just stood there, surprised, armed with can raised above her head and mouth gaping.
