I miss Dad.
Barley knew him much as a kid, but not me. I don't remember him much; he died before I was born. All I know of him are the photos of him with Mom and Barley. When I got his magic staff for my 16th birthday, it all changed. I wanted to see him again, but because I botched the Visitation Spell due to being untrained with magic, I only got to see the bottom half of him. This is why Barley and I went on a quest to get the other jewel and complete the spell.
The quest is all for nothing, and I'm depressed not being able to see Dad fully. As I looked on my checklist, I started to realize something. All the things I did in my checklist, such as playing catch and laughing together, I already did them through my journey. Through Barley... I may not have a father, but I have a brother.
As it all came to me, I realized one thing: my brother is my father.
