Hinata x Sai

Read with song "Scars to your Beautiful" playing.

Beauty Scar

She was a musician while he was an artist.

Sai is a famous artist who's landscapes are breath taking and priceless. Literally. He hasn't sold a single one.

Hinata is a musician who plays piano, flute, and violin. But she feels empty. Everyone loves to hear her play but no one really wanted to see her. Just her music.

One day, Hinata was in her normal coffee shop getting her mocha-latte. "Here you go." Said the lady.

Hinata sat down in her normal spot till. "Oh! Sorry. But I was sitting there." Said a tall man.

This was the meeting of a life time.

"Oh! You were?" Hinata looked to her left and saw the cup. "Sorry." She said getting up and sitting in the chair next to him. "That's fine." Said the man. "I'm Sai."

"Hinata." They shook hands. "You are the Hinata? the musician?" He asked.

"Yes. It's nice to meet fans. At least I met one." She sighed.

Sai looked puzzled. "Why? Don't you meet a lot of fans?" Sai asked.

"No. Not really. No one comes to meet me. They only come to hear me play. I'm such a multi-tasker." Hinata said.

Sai saw the look on her face. No one really appreciated her for herself.

"Can I come? I've never been to a musical theater." Sai asked.

Hinata looked surprised. "And in return, I'll give you a painting for free." He said.

"Painting? You are an artist?" Hinata was a huge fan of art. "Yes." Sai smiled.

"I love art. I never get a chance to see any with my schedules." She said.

Sai them looked in him bag pulling out a ticket.

"This is a ticket to my show. No one is coming so. Your welcome to come. And if you want..." Sai hesitated for a few minutes. "You can come to my place and see all my works." He was trying not to sound so creepy.

"I would love to come and see your art." Hinata said.

Sai was all shocked. "Meet me here tomorrow and I'll give you tickets to the concert. My father disproves of me playing." She said.

"Okay. I'll be here." Sai said.

And the two departed.

It was only a few days after that encounter Hinata practiced for her performance.

"Hinata." Said her manager. "You are being distracted. Focus. Everyone is here for you." He said.

No they worn't. They were here for the music. They didn't care who played it. "Yes sir." She said.

"What's with that attitude? More positive and happy smiles." Like she could do that.

"Right. I'm just tired." Hinata said.

"I know you are. But right now is the biggest time of your life! You need to focus on this." He told her.

"Where's that smile?" He teased. Hinata didn't smile.

The show was almost about to start. Hinata looked out in the audience looking for Sai. She really hoped he was here.

"You looking for someone?" Hinata heard her sister Hanabi behind her.

"Yeah. Someone I met. He's an artist and-"

"A boy?! Oh! Neji and dad will love to hear this one." She said.

"Drop it." Hinata said.

"Alright. Let's go. And you run along." The manager said to Hanabi.

Hianta was pushed onto the stage to start.

She looked around real quick but so far. The doors flew open.

Sai was out of breath. But he made it.

Hanabi watched Hinata smile like a real smile for the first time in ages.

Hinata smiled, bowed and began to play.

She was calm and collected.

Whispers where being said all around. Sai could hear them.

"She's better this time then every other time."

"She's more focused. And it has more emotion in her fingers."

"She's playing like a real star. A story behind her and she's letting it all out through the music she's playing."

Sai smiled at their words. Hinata should be so proud.

After Hinata finished, she looked up and saw all the people standing up and clamping for her. She never felt so happy with a performance.

By the next day, Hianta was everywhere.

When she met with Sai she was so happy. "You came."

"Of course. And here's a ticket." He handed it to her. She looked so happy seeing something she loved.

Sai lead her the way and pointed out which one's were his.

She was astonished. "Sai. You paint the best paintings I've ever seen." She said.

Sai blushed. "Thank you." He said.

Then one painting caught Hianta's eye.

It was a beautiful woman. But she had all these markings on her.

"Scars." Sai said behind her. "They are meant to be scars. If you take a close enough look, you'll see a shape." He hinted to her.

Hianta did take a closer look, she tilted her head and found the shade. "A crisscrossed star."

Sai nodded. "The star is a represented of how all women and men want to feel about themselves. The scars, are to show the price of paying for the look of being beautiful." Sai said.

Hinata was impressed. It sounded like herself when she preformed on stage. Unlike the last time, she was the best she ever could be.

"Being trapped in a world where you have to be...perfect." She said. She knew exactly how that felt.

Sai was tempted to take her hand but held back.

Hinata felt tears in her eyes. She had an inspiration for a knew song for her to write about. "Sai. Thank you. For this. I hope you don't mind. But I need to get home. I have a new song I need to write." She said.

Sai understood.

As Hinata made her way home, Sai went to his place, and sat down on his bed with his drawing pad. Continuing his drawing of Hinata playing her beautiful piano, like an angel from heaven.

Hinata started writing her song out and her father seemed impressed.

"Well done, Hinata. Writing a song about yourself is a start to a great music legend." He told her.

"I'm proud of her too sir." Her manager said.

"It's not about me." Hinata said.

"Then what is it?" Her father asked.

Hinata smiled looking up at her father. "It's called "Beautiful Scars." She told him.

"And this is more of an inspiration by someone who seen how people are, and I am going to tell them, "You don't have to have a scar to become a star." She explained to him.

"Does it have something to do with that boy?" Hanabi asked behind the door.

Both her father and manager looked to her. "Hinata."

Hinata ignored them. She only smiled at her new master piece. Her music. Her song that will save many others like her.
