It was morning in the middle of winter in Gensokyo.
The sun was bright and warming up the snow around our tree house. Like usual, Sunny was still sleeping in her room while I was preparing a breakfast downstairs.
"hmm... where is Star?" I wondered while I was cutting some ingredients. Star sometimes wandered off in the very beginning of the morning.
"oh there she is" I looked out through the window and saw her outside with a fox-like youkai that has so many tails. It seemed that they were having a conversation.
After that, the youkai gave some kind of scroll to Star and then left.
"morning Luna! Brrr.. its still freezing outside" Star opened the door and came inside the house with the scroll from that youkai.
"of course it's freezing, it's in the middle of the winter, and still morning"
"where is Sunny?" Asked Star.
"she is still sleeping, what's that on your hands? And who was that anyway?" I asked Star while pouring soup on our plate.
"oh.. she is a fox youkai" Star answered while cleaning snow off her shoe.
"I know she is fox youkai, give me a more specific answer"
"She is miss Yukari's servant" Answered Star.
"HUH!? Why a high class youkai have a business with us?"
I was surprised, because we fairies are very weak and miss Yukari is one of the strongest youkai. We were even called a "small fry" by a weak youkai once, when we bought some eels.
"miss Yukari want to thanks to us because we're keeping this tree and the land around the shrine alive" said star while she helped me preparing our breakfast.
"but, we're just living here and play with Clownpiece and the shrine maiden" I answered, confused.
"and she want us to make more interesting stuff around, so she gave us this scroll." She opened a scroll on our dining table.
"what is that scroll?" I asked.
"she said its a scroll that can take us to anyplace even beyond her border and range of power"
"ooohhh...wait! why did she gave it to us?" Again I was surprised and confused at the same time.
"she said this scroll will only work with the power of a divine spirit, maybe it's useless for her so she gave it to us" Star explained to me.
"I think the reason is she want us to make more interesting stuff around." I answered.
We Fairies are imbued by the nature so even we are weak, we have a power from God. Not much later Sunny woke up while still sleepy and wearing her pajamas.
"hoaamm.. what's 'this 'bout a scroll and useless stuff?" Said Sunny.
"oh look she woke up" I said while looking to Sunny.
"why don't you get dressed and join us" asked Star to Sunny while we were about to eat.
"but we still don't know how to use it right? Did that youkai servant give you a manual or something?" I said.
"maybe if we just cast our magic it'll work" Said Star.
"but if we can't control it..."
"Alright! Lets cast it! Me first!"then suddenly Sunny cast her bending light while interrupting what I said.
The scroll became bright and began to create something like a black hole and sucked the three of us inside
"WAAAA...!" Of course we were screaming.
"urgh.. where are we?" It was like my head was hit by a giant rock. We helped each other to try to get back on our feet.
We were astonished by our view, there were a lot of houses with a wood frameworks and the street of cobblestone, the river was so clean and the air was fresh. There were a lot of people wandering more than we saw in Gensokyo and their clothes were so stylish.
"Whoaaa... YOU'RE ALL SOOOO CUUTTTEEEE...!!!!" Suddenly there was a girl with a brown hair and purple eyes who was wearing a pink vest and skirt looking at us amazed.
"want to become my little sister?"
The girl then dashed towards us and trying to hug the three of us.
"eeekkk... Luna why not use your ability to silence us?" Said Sunny
"are you kidding! Why you're not used your ability to cloak us!" I complained.
"let us goo~ " Asked Star.
"gruuu...~" Then our stomach started to make a noise. Well, we hadn't had a breakfast yet.
"whats that noise?" Said the girl with brown hair "maybe you're all hungry? Then lets go to my cafe"
She let us go but then grabbed my hand and guided us to the place that she mentioned.
"oh by the way, my name is Cocoa, nice to meet you!" Said the girl.
"my name is Sunny Milk, the brown one is Luna Child and the straight haired is Star Sapphire" Sunny introduced us.
"nice to meet you" The three of us said while we were still confused. We were dragged out until we arrived at the place.
The place looked almost similar to other house with a wood framework and some plants on the ground and one on a chair.
But then I saw the rabbit sign on top of the door and the closer we got, I smelled a coffee and it was delicious.
