Hello everyone again sorry for the wait ( I personally am ashamed of myself at the realization that it's been years *YEARS!* since I last updated this!) Here is the next chapter. To all you who have stuck with me and are still interested in this fic I hope you enjoy!

When I finally caught up to Alex and Ardeth who were talking to Rick and Jon... who seemed to be soaking wet with soap bubbles sticking to Jon's hair. Jon caught sight of me first and immediately began to run towards me as he happily called out,
"El!? It's been to long! What are you doing here?" Jon said as he pulled me into a tight hug that left me nearly as soaked as he was.

"El? Wait, did you come with Ardeth? Did you know about those men coming for us?" Rick asked sounding both surprised and suspicious. Rolling my eyes at him as I pulled back from my hug with Jon I sarcastically replied,
"Hi O'Connell. It's nice to see you to. I'm doing good thanks for asking."

Rick's face reddened slightly, and he gave me a small smile that was mostly forced but had a tinge of sincerity to it.

"Sorry, Hi Ella, it is nice to see you. But seriously those men just took off with my wife and I don't have time to make pleasant conversation. So Ardeth why don't you explain who those guys were and where are they taking my wife?!" Rick demanded as he turned all his attention to Ardeth who had moved so he was now holding my hand and standing close beside me.

"My friend, I'm not sure but wherever this man is, your wife will surely be." Ardeth said pulling a picture out of his inner shirt pocket and showing it to Rick who was reaching for it when Alex grabbed it first,

"Hey I know him! He's a curator! He works at the British Museum." Alex exclaimed as he stared at the picture I still couldn't see.

"Are you sure?" Ardeth asked looking surprised and slightly disbelieving.

"You better believe him he spends more time there then he does at home." Rick replied already leading Alex away from our little group circle. Jon, Ardeth and I followed Rick back to the house where Rick hurried upstairs to grab some weapons while I headed towards the living room to get my knives.

"Are you okay Anta?" Ardeth asked quietly in Arabic from behind me as I bent over and was pulling out my throwing knives from the various bodies that still lay scattered around the living room. I paused for a second to glance up at him, he rarely called me by my first name, preferring the nick-name I usually went by.

I could see the worry in his gaze as he looked at me and immediately I stood up leaving the last throwing knife still impaled in the guys eye-socket as I immediately pulled him forward touching our foreheads together in a gesture of pure trust to his people.

"I'm okay. It was just some nausea most likely because I just haven't been getting a lot of sleep lately." I replied pulling back slightly so he could see that I was telling the truth.

"Hey Ella, Ardeth, you two coming?" Rick called out from the direction of the front door, immediately Ardeth started for the front door while I turned around and bent down pulling my last throwing knife out of the eye-socket and wiped it on the guy's red cloak before rushing after Ardeth.

I slid into the back of the car with Jon and Alex, Ardeth sat upfront while Rick drove weaving in and around traffic like a mad-man to the British Museum. While on the way Ardeth told us who the guy's were that had kidnapped Evy and why they had kidnapped her. Someone wanted to raise Imhotep and they had found the Black Book.

"Not to point fingers but aren't you supposed to make sure that doesn't happen?" Jon asked as Rick pulled to a stop outside of the Museum and we all got out.

"This person was different, they had knowledge that no-one else should have. They knew exactly where to look for the creature and the book." Ardeth replied as he and Rick opened the trunk of the car and looked over the array of guns that were in it.

"I want to come! I can help dad!" Alex exclaimed as Rick closed up the car trunk now that he and Ardeth had taken what they wanted.

"I know you can Alex and you will. You'll help by guarding this car...along with your Uncle Jon." Rick replied as he gently rustled Alex's golden hair.

"But dadddddd!" Alex whined.

"Don't worry Alex, we'll get Evy and be back soon." I assured Alex dropping a kiss on his golden head while secretly slipping him the throwing knife that he had dropped at the house when he had ran after his mother and her kidnappers.

"In the meantime Jon, try not to get into any more trouble." Rick said giving Jon an exasperated look to which Jon replied with a wide-eyed *who me?* look.

Sneaking into the British Museum was very easy as there were no guards outside of it, probably to keep suspicion away. Quietly making our way between the various glass cases and coffins we continued moving further into the heart of museum when all the sudden a mummy flew up into a sitting position in its coffin causing all three of us to point our various weapons at it while we struggled to stay silent and keep moving.

A banging noise behind us caused us to whirl around and come face to face with a mummy enclosed in glass. More and more mummies began to wake up causing the three of us to hurry through the hallway keeping our backs to each other so we weren't taken by surprise.

Various shrieks and bang's came from the different mummies as they rose up, thankfully none of them were in the position to get out of their coffin or glass case without help and none of us were interested in helping them.

Continuing deeper into the Museum at a quicker pace we heard the faint noise of chanting and knew we were on the right track as we swiftly headed towards the sounds. The booming thunder and crashing lightning outside of the Museum gave a theatrical cliché to the foreboding feelings that were causing goosebumps to break out on my skin.

Finally we found where the chanting was coming from, directly in the heart of the Museum where there were still various boxes and crates that needed unpacked the red cloak wearing cult members were spread out in a circle around the creature that was still encased in a hard yellow substance. There were torches set up and all the cult members seemed to be chanting. One of them was kneeling on the ground with a black book on his back that a guy in a red fez seemed to be reading from but directly across from him was Evy sitting on a slab of stone, her hands and feet bound with rope.
