I welcome you all back to TWWATKW! I apologize for not updating. This was because of my long grounding as well as Writer's Block.

So I welcome thee back to thee story!

And…the chapter's previous boss was Yami, right? So that means its Marluxia- Er…Roselyynn's turn!

Roselyynn: Did you just call me MARLUXIA?! WTF?

Anyway, like usual, I do not own Kid Icarus or Kingdom Hearts! (There may or may not be TWEWY involved in this story, but there could be in this chapter but assuming that I just mentioned it, there most likely will be.)

Chapter 4: The Rose of the Maiden

In the Commander's Base, a beautiful Angel was twirling a rose between her fingers. Rose petals fell as she walked, mainly because she was using magic to do so. Her long hair, as pink as a rose swayed gently in the rhythm of her walking, lovely lilac eyes glimmering.

Then she opened up the Commander's Throne Room. "You wanted to see me, Commander?" The maiden asked in her charming voice.

"Yes."

The maiden smiled before doing a curtsey. "What did you need, my lady?"

"Today, you will be the one to combat Palutena and her forces. Do you understand, Roselyynn?"

The rose maiden, Roselyynn, smiled. "Of course. Every rose has thorns, and my own thorns are much sharper than any. I'll stab them to death."

The commander frowned. "Don't kill them. Then the battle would be absolutely pointless."

"Yes, my lady. I'll be off."

Then the pink feathered Angel left the room.

"Here is my bouquet to you, Palutena. This one is much more poisonous. I hope you like it."

(Skyworld)

Palutena was in panic.

The day before, they had fought against the mysterious Commander's Water Angel, and the five who went seemingly did not get hurt. Right? WRONG.

Dark Pit, Roxas and especially, Riku, had been badly injured. Pit and Sora were able to endure against the water, but they healed rather quickly. Then when Penelope finally arrived that evening, she had played a purposely dangerous song to affect the Angels, but since Riku, Roxas, Dark Pit, Pit and Sora were at the hot springs at the time, the only one who didn't have a major headache and their ears ringing was Lea (or Axel).

So that meant that Sora, Pit and Lea were the only ones able to fight, and it was bad because now the usually peaceful Rainbow Meadows (known for its vibrantly colored flowers in all the colors of the rainbow except green, but there was plenty of grass and clovers), had turned into a death zone when the Commander's Rose Maiden had arrived and now it was a base and some sort of maze of thorns.

If the Commander wasn't stopped today, the humans could get seriously injured.

And Viridi wasn't going to help like usual because it involved flowers and she was afraid Axel might harm the nature of the meadow.

It would be too dangerous for only three people to go. At least four would be fine, but there wasn't enough for just three.

Then they heard an angry, "Joshua…why the hell do you keep purposely messing up the coordinates?!"

"You yourself said something along the lines of wanting to expand your world."

"I DIDN'T MEAN IT LIKE THAT!"

"Will you please stop arguing?"

"I jus wanna get home! This is gettin annoying as hell!"

They head a sigh. "We're never going to get home with all this arguing, Beat."

Sora gasped.

"No way!"

Then he ran outside to see Neku, Shiki, Joshua, Beat and Rhyme in somewhat Angelic forms like them!

"Oh thank gosh you came!"

Neku frowned. "What are you doing here, Sora?"

"Somebody brought us here. I don't know who did though."

Joshua frowned. "I knew she was up to something."

"What are you talking about, Joshua?"

Joshua didn't answer.

"Before you ask what we've been doing, we've been fighting against this "Commander" and her forces."

"So my suspicions are correct. She's up to something."

"Who's this she?"

"It's…"

Palutena walked out with Pit.

"Hey Sora, who are they?"

"Some friends of mine."

Palutena sighed in relief.

"I know this is sudden, but can you please help us?"

"Why?"

Sora answered, "You know how I said we've been fighting against this "Commander"? Her first force hurt us badly. Not only that, but Penelope did something with her music and affected everyone but Axel."

Joshua gasped. "So she's the…"

"Who's the what?"

Joshua didn't finish.

Suddenly, something hit the temple, causing Palutena to gasp.

"What's going on?"

"The Commander told me specifically that I wasn't allowed to kill any of you, but she didn't say I couldn't destroy the temple with my thorns."

They saw an angel with pink hair with a red rose, lilac eyes, an outfit with all the colors of the rose and beautiful pink wings.

"That's the Commander's Rose Maiden!"

"Why do you want to destroy the Temple!? Skyworld got destroyed once already, but we don't need the temple to get destroyed by an infestation of thorns!"

The girl giggled. "Why not? I think it would look much more beautiful that way."

Then Lea (or Axel.) stormed out and shouted, "BURN BABY!" and blasted Firaga at the girl, who dodged in panic.

"Hey! I don't want my clothes singed!"

"So your weakness is fire!"

Then Lea flew up and summoned his Chakrams before flying towards the girl, who summoned a Rose Staff in defense.

"Hey, hey, hey! Isn't there a rule about not hitting girls?!"

Lea frowned. "I have a right to hit you, you temple destroying…"

The girl hit Lea with her rose staff hard enough to make him fly back and hit the temple.

"You can't hit girls, pyro!"

"Oh shut up!"

Then Shiki (she is in the form she was in Kingdom Hearts 3D, like in TWEWY until after the end of the game, during the credits) flew up with Mr. Mew.

"But, there isn't a rule that girls can't hit girls! Go Mr. Mew!" Shiki used psychomancy to control Mr. Mew, who slashed at the girl, who whined, "I don't want the cat to scratch up my clothes!"

Joshua giggled. "She is such a girly girl."

"HEY! I HEARD THAT!"

"Isn't there a saying or something that fights between girls can get extremely bad?" Sora asked.

"Um…Sora, that isn't a saying. It's true."

Then Roselyynn suddenly kicked Shiki before thorns grew onto her arms and she began firing at Shiki, who had to avoid.

"Is she using Pin Missile on Shiki?"

"Pin Missile? What's that?"

"A move from Pokémon."

"What's Pokémon?" Beat asked.

"You wouldn't understand a Nintendo Game Historian like me."

"Oh whatever."

Then Shiki screamed and an evil laugh came from the girl.

Neku immediately flew up and charged at the girl before socking her in the face.

"OW! I said, you can't hit girls!"

"Well I guess I just did!"

The girl frowned before saying, "The thorn I set in the temple will grow and take over unless you find and defeat me in my Maze. If you can't, you lose the temple, and I win."

Then she vanished with rose petals falling.

"She's the female version of Marluxia! Man, I hated that guy." Lea started.

The girl appeared again. "I'M NOT THE FEMALE VERSION OF MARLUXIA DAMMIT!"

She vanished again.

Neku caught Shiki and saw that she was bleeding a bit. "She just tried to tear me apart with that Pin Missile thing…"

"SEE! I TOLD YOU SHE WAS USING PIN MISSILE!"

"Shiki needs to heal in the Hot Springs."

"And I'm going to tear that Rose Obsessed chick apart!" Neku hissed before flying off.

Joshua immediately went after Neku.

"Axel, Pit, c'mon! Seeing how brutal she is, we have to back them up."

"When that headphones guy is done tearing her apart, I'll burn her corpse and then burn her ashes." Lea hissed. "Oh, and the name's not Axel. It's Lea, got it memorized?"

"Whatever, you still have the Marks under your eyes, Lea!"

Lea sighed.

"Let's go!"

Palutena activated the Power of Flight as soon as Sora and Lea left.

(Above Rainbow Meadows)

"Jeez! This place looks like a reset bomb hit it!" Pit stated.

They heard the girl's voice. "Hey! That's a capital offense. At least I actually know how to make a Reset Bomb look beautiful unlike that Goddess of Nature."

Then they heard Viridi's voice. "Look who's talking. I could do a MUCH better job."

"Says the girl who lost her Reset Bomb Factory and who's last Reset Bomb got burned up by the Pyromaniac in this universe."

"Don't even bring that up! You're talking to a Goddess here!"

The girl laughed. "Oh really? I thought I was talking to a little kid."

"Oh no she didn't!" Pit said in shock.

"Oh yes I just did. Take that, Goddess of Nature."

"Roselyynn, this isn't the time to be mocking Viridi. Remember what your job is." The Commander reminded the girl.

"I knew it was you." Joshua hissed.

"Oh great. Its you. Just when did you appear here, Yoshiya?"

"Whaat?"

Joshua frowned. "My name is Yoshiya, but my nickname is Joshua."

"Oh, okay." Sora indicated.

"Hey! I found an opening in that Reset Bomb thing!" Palutena shouted.

"It's not a Reset Bomb! It looks like one, but its not! It's my Rose Fortress!"

"You have a really big obsession with Roses, don't you, lady?" Lea asked.

"Its not an obsession! I was raised around flowers. And don't call me lady. I'm not old."

"You talk too much." Neku stated.

"Oh really, Sakuraba? You can still hear me through those headphones of yours? They must not block out sound very well."

"For the love of…You are annoying as hell! Insanely annoying as hell! Seriously lady, what is your problem?"

"Problem?*"

Neku stopped.

"She didn't just…"

"She did."

Neku went silent. "I AM GOING TO FREAKING KILL YOU, TROLL!"

Roselyynn giggled. "I'm not a troll. I'm the Maiden of Roses."

"Whatever! You are still a troll." Neku hissed.

Roselyynn giggled once again, amused by this.

"Oh really? Just make sure my thorns don't pluck you when you come in."

"Come in?"

"We're close to entering. I see an opening. Follow Pit!"

Palutena controlled Pit to the entry and Sora, Neku, Lea and Joshua (Who hesitated but decided to go in.) went into the entry.

(Maze of Roses)

Sora, Neku, Lea, Pit and Joshua landed, and they heard Roselyynn's voice. "Why hello, boys. Its rare for me to get any guests. Please, step on in!"

"Wow. Now you're flirting with us?" Joshua asked.

"I don't call it "flirting". I'm just welcoming you in my base. Just watch your movement."

Neku mumbled, "Stupid rose lady." Under his breath.

"What was that, Neku?"

"Why do you care about what I say?" Neku asked.

"You were saying bad about me. I can tell. Whatever, at least I get to claw the crap out of you guys when you come to my room."

Lea groaned. "And I am gonna burn the hell out of you."

"Eek! Keep your stupid fire away from me! I don't want my flowers or my clothes to get singed!" (It makes sense considering that its Roselyynn. Ah, whatever.)

"So you have a fear of fire?" Pit asked.

"Its pyrophobia. Or something like that. And Axel is a pyromaniac. A pyrophobic does not mix well with a pyromaniac."

"What are you, a dictionary?" Pit asked.

"What are you? A hole in the ground?"

"HEY! That's my line!"

"Shut it, weed. I already said it."

"Someone's rude."

"I'm not rude!"

"Well you sure are acting like it."

"Oh shut up!"

Then Pit looked around. The walls were tight vines with thorns and flowers growing on them.

"Marluxia quit whining."

"I AM NOT MARLUXIA!" Roselyynn shouted.

"Well Marluxia's hair was pink and he used to use flowers as his Element, right?"

"Oh whatever. It doesn't matter anyway."

Then green arrows appeared on the walls and floor.

"How did those get in here?" Roselyynn asked in anger.

"I set them. I hope you don't mind."

"That's rude! I never said you could."

"And you never said I couldn't. Besides, you set a huge thorn in the temple and it will grow and destroy it."

"She did WHAT?" The Commander suddenly asked.

"Oh…um…ha-ha…"

"Roselyynn. You better remove that thorn."

"It won't be removed until I'm defeated."

They heard the Commander yell, "I know it seems wrong to say this, but, KICK HER ASS FOR ME, WILL YA?"

There was an awkward silence.

"Interesting. Why do you want us to defeat one of your own?"

"Simple. She didn't ask what she could do before going against the rules! I want to fight fairly."

"Jeez Commander, calm down."

"Go drown in your rose-scented perfume." The Commander hissed.

"First, we find our way through the maze, and then we defeat Roselyynn." Pit ordered.

"Right."

(Hours later)

(End of the Maze)

Sora, Pit, Neku, Joshua and Lea reached a door.

"The Rose Maiden is through this door. Are you ready?" Palutena asked.

"Yeah."

Some Drinks of the Gods appeared.

"What are those?" Neku asked.

"They are a Drink of the Gods. I always use one before a Boss Fight. It gets you all healed up."

"Yeah! Its like a Panacea and a Curaga spell at the same time.

"Or a Full Restore and Max Elixir."

Lea groaned. "What are those?"

"Pokémon."

"Of course."

"Drink up! We don't have enough time."

Everyone drank their Drink of the Gods before the bottles vanished and they went in.

(Rose Chamber)

Rose petals were falling from the sky and Lea narrowed his eyes.

"Marluxia…"

"I told you I'm not Marluxia!"

There they saw Roselyynn.

"Then why are there Rose Petals falling everywhere?!" Lea asked.

"It adds to my beauty and elegant appearance." Roselyynn answered.

"As if you had any."

Roselyynn frowned. "Hmph. Are you saying I'm a weed?"

"No. You're probably worse than a weed."

Roselyynn stood up. "Take that back! NOW."

"No take backs."

"I'M GOING TO CLAW YOU TO DEATH." Thorns stuck out of Roselyynn's arms as she got into her battle stance.

The group drew their weapons and got into their individual battle stances.

Roselyynn began the battle by flying up into the air and diving down at them. Sora managed to block it, stunning Roselyynn.

"BURN BABY!" Lea blasted Firaga at Roselyynn and then she emitted an ear piercing scream.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Roselyynn immediately made her target Lea. "I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!"

More thorns stuck out of Roselyynn's arms as she locked onto Lea and began firing the thorns like they were missiles.

"SHE'S USING PIN MISSLE AGAIN! HIT HER WITH FIRE!" Pit screamed.

Roselyynn gulped. "Uh-oh…"

The pink feathered angel was hit with tons of fire, and when she was visible again, she had turned around. There was something now off about her (she had gone crazy from all that impact of fire) and when she turned around, she had this insanely pissed off look on her face and now one of her arms had long, very freaking sharp thorns sticking out of it, and they had a purple glow and she had her Rose Staff in her free hand.

"Prepare to meet your untimely end."

Roselyynn began to rapid fire the purple glowing thorns, which Neku and Joshua figured out they were poisonous.

"DODGE THE THORNS!" Neku shouted.

"WHY?"

"SHE CAST A POISON SPELL ON IT!"

There was some immediate dodging. Roselyynn smiled (?) at this before vanishing.

"Did she flee?"

"I think the rose petals would stop falling if she did."

Suddenly the rose petals stopped and locked onto all of them.

"I think I just figured out why she even had rose petals in her in the first place. And they looked much sharper.

"SHE'S USING RAZOR LEAF, BUT WITH ROSE PETALS, SO WOULD IT COUNT AS PETAL DANCE?!"

"QUIT TALKING ABOUT POKEMON!" Neku snapped.

The rose petals began to fire at them and there had to be some ridiculously fast dodging until the rose petals drew back and began to swirl around them, their edges sharp, and it was extremely hard to avoid.

Then they all heard the giggling of Roselyynn. "STUPID MARLUXIA!" Lea shouted in anger and pain.

The attack stopped and Roselyynn appeared, her eyes glowing a bright pink. "What the hell did you just call me?"

"Marluxia." Pit answered.

Roselyynn's eyes twitched before she began to attack with her staff.

"HIT HER WITH FIRE A FEW MORE TIMES!"

"FIRAGA BURST!"

"FIRA!"

Neku was using his Pyrokinesis pin on Roselyynn.

Roselyynn then screamed insanely loud in panic and the spell she put on Palutena's Temple broke. Scared of what just happened, Roselyynn flew off in fear.

"Well, despite you just scarred her for life, at lease that spell on your temple is gone and your temple is back to normal." The Commander indicated.

"Why did you care so much about the temple?"

"I want to play fair. Besides, Yami didn't attack the temple or kill you. She was obeying the orders I gave her. Roselyynn must've forgot."

"Both of them are scary when they're mad."

"Roselyynn was mad at you for using fire on her. She probably already told you this earlier, but she has terrible pyrophobia."

"I'm confused though. Why would you want one of your own troops to be taken out?" Palutena asked as the Rainbow Meadow began to revert to its original state.

"Roselyynn purposely ignored my orders."

"Purposely…?"

"She was probably getting payback at me for last night…Anyway, we will speak again when out paths collide once more."

"Let's get back."

(Palutena's Temple)

The temple looked as good as new when Sora, Pit, Neku, Joshua and Lea returned.

Shiki looked better and Neku hugged her. "We burned the crap out of her."

Shiki hugged Neku back.

That was when Penelope appeared.

Everyone went silent as she was glared at.

"What's wrong?" Penelope asked curiously.

"Why did you try to kill everyone with your music last night?" Penelope frowned. "I must've accidentally played a pain inflicting song. Sorry."

Joshua frowned at Penelope before walking over and saying to her quietly, "I'm onto you."

Penelope smirked at him before saying, "Well, in honesty, the whole reason I cam was to apologize. I'm sorry for that incident last night. Now goodbye."

Then the violet winged angel flew off, and Joshua still had high suspicions.

(A/N: Yes I included TWEWY. Don't expect me to include Final Fantasy.

What I am happy about is that I finally finished this chapter and this is most likely the longest chapter in the whole story so far.

*Roselyynn was quoting one thing you would usually see on a troll meme.

Now Joshua Is finding something off about Penelope and may be aware of what she's up to. That is, if she really is up to something.
