So, here's another chapter. I am so sorry for the delay. And friends, thank you so much for 'Following', 'Favouriting' and 'Reviewing' my FF. Please don't forget to leave your reviews.

Stefan made his way to the witch's house. The talk with his brother didn't go well, as usual. Damon wanted him to return the coffins back to Klaus. But he wouldn't. He found the only to hurt Klaus and he would be damned if he just give it up for Damon.

He couldn't blame his brother. He put all his friends' life in danger's path by doing this. But he just couldn't let himself back from what he started. It was like someone was compelling him to do it. He didn't know how, but he just knew that he wasn't doing it with his own wish.

He still couldn't believe that the Spirits helped them with hiding the coffins. He knew very well that they disliked the vampires, what with balance and all. When Bonnie said that the Spirits would help with this, he was quite shocked.

With this thoughts still swimming in his head, he made his way to the basement of the house, where he kept the coffins. But he was not prepared for what awaited him in there. He was shocked, and then it transferred into rage. How the hell did it happen?

He took his mobile and dialled Bonnie's number. After a couple of rings, he heard her voice.

"Stefan?"

"Bonnie," he said, careful not to direct his anger on her, "we have a problem. Come to the Witch's house"

"What is it?" Bonnie asked, her voice that one of panic.

But he didn't say anything, except to cut the call. Stefan didn't know what to do. He was practically on the eggshells. The one and only leverage he had against Klaus, was now gone. Just gone. How could that be possible?

Ten minutes later, Bonnie entered the Witch's house and went straight toward the basement. "Stefan, what the hell—" but she cut off once she entered the basement and saw that the coffins are gone. "What the hell happened here?"

"That's exactly what I was thinking" Stefan said as he continued pacing.

Just then Damon rushed inside the basement. "Arabelle took Elena" he said. Only then did his eyes roamed over the room to find it empty. "What happened here?"

That received a pair of glares.

Bonnie sighed. "I'll see what I can find."

She lit up a candle and sat there, chanting. Absorbing the energy from the fire as the chanting grew strong. Suddenly she opened her eyes, gasping for air. "They blocked the Spirits to get the coffins."

A deep confused frown etched their face. Stefan thought of everything he knew. There was no witch or warlock in the town other than Bonnie. Even though they got a witch, how could they block the Spirits? It was not possible at all.

"Well" Damon said, "She did mention that they have powerful European Witch Covens under their reign."

Great. Just great.

"Atleast we have one coffin to bargain" Damon said.

"What?" Bonnie and Stefan asked in unison.

Damon shrugged, "I might have compelled the quarterback to move the sealed coffin to some secure place and forget the location" he smirked.

Caroline was totally freaking out. Tyler left town, Arabelle took Elena, Jeremy was compelled to leave the town, and Alaric was in the hospital. Can this day go any messier? Possibly not.

Sure, Tyler bit her. But still, he was her boyfriend. The least he could have done was to say goodbye. But no. He told Matt that he was going to find a way to break the stupid sire bond. She had to find from someone else that her boyfriend left town.

She went inside the bathroom and turned on the shower. Standing there with her head bent, she recollected what had happened the night before. Her birthday could have been her death day, if not for Klaus. From what she had gathered from Matt, who in turn gathered the information from Tyler, that Klaus pulled the sire bond to make Tyler bite Caroline. Even though Tyler refused to do it, it happened in the end. He bit her and left her in the middle of the woods.

From what she gathered from Bonnie, it was Arabelle who made Klaus cure her. Bonnie said that she could not believe that the Mikaelson sister had all but pushed her brother to help Caroline.

But Caroline was not surprised. She had always known that there was more to Arabelle than met one's eyes. The same goes to Klaus. Who could have thought that the big bad Original Hybrid gave her a touching speech about life, world and genuine beauty? Even if she told anyone, they were not going to believe her. They might probably think that she hallucinated the whole thing. It was something that was way too personal to share with even her friends.

She walked out of the bathroom in her bathrobe. When she walked in to her bedroom, she saw a small rectangular box on her bed. Curious, she went near the bed and picked it up. Opening it, she saw a diamond bracelet. Underneath it was a note. It said, 'From Klaus'.

Well, the guy really has some taste in gifts. She instantly remembered the connection she felt when she looked straight in his eyes. It was strange. She had never felt anything like that. She felt as if he was electrifying her with his eyes. She had felt as if her life was solely around him. In other words, he was her sun. Like he was her eternity.

Caroline scoffed at the ridiculous thoughts. It's not going to happen. Not even in a thousand years.

Little did she knew, that she was wrong.

Niklaus was with Arabelle and Nadia in the living room. Arabelle was still angry at him. He tried to apologize to her, but she said that he must apologize to Caroline. Like that's going to happen.

But he knew that she was right. His stupidity could have cost him his mate's life, if not for Arabelle. He was yet to tell her that Caroline was his mate. He didn't know how to tell her that. He must tell her now.

"Belle" he said.

But as usual she ignored him.

He continued none the less. "I found my mate"

This earned him a surprised expression. She seemed to forget the fact that she was angry at him. "Rea—"

But little Nadia beat her, "The big bad wolf found his mate. Never thought that this day would come" she said as she knelt on the floor raised her hands as if praying the God. Yes, she was a drama queen like Kol.

Arabelle laughed but the only thing that he saw was red. "Revenge" he said as he walked toward Nadia. "You shouldn't have said that"

Nadia moved to the other side of the living room with her vampire speed. When he moved toward her, she moved to her previous position.

Niklaus chuckled slightly as he started toward her. But he was by Arabelle. The girls tackled him down, and started tickling him.

And that was how Damon and Stefan found them.

It was so amusing to find the most feared Original Hybrid in the Supernatural world was playing with his sister and niece. But all Damon could focus on was Arabelle. Her genuine smile and laughter filled the room like thousand candles.

When they left Witch's house, Damon was all but ready to tear Klaus into pieces. But the picture awaited them in the living room of the mansion has changed that.

He could hear that Stefan was 'coughing' to announce their presence. All the laughter left their face and changed into cold mask, when they looked up at Damon and Stefan.

"Stefan" Klaus said, "What can I do for you mate?"

"Where's Elena?" Stefan asked. Damon was certain that he was fighting hard to keep his rage under control.

"Resting" Nadia said.

Klaus smirked, "Always about the doppelganger"

"Like that's something new" Arabelle muttered under her breath.

"Well, don't just stand there. Come sit. We have a deal to make" Klaus said as he moved to stand behind the couch. Arabelle and Nadia sat on the couch.

Damon and Stefan occupied the remaining chairs. "What deal?" Damon asked.

"You want the safety of your doppelganger and I want to have a peaceful life with my family." Klaus said.

Damon stood there, perplexed. He didn't know where it was going, but prayed that they could pray for some peace. At least to get an opportunity to woo the woman who found her way in his heart.

"So, we say, you keep the doppelganger. I won't ask for any more blood. You leave my family alone, I leave your doppelganger and your little Scooby-gang untouched." Klaus said.

Damon considered it for a moment. It was a good deal. Elena would be safe and they could move on as well. He met Stefan's eyes. He could tell that he was thinking the same.

"So, Deal or no deal?" Klaus asked.

"Deal" Stefan said.

Damon heaved a sigh of relief inwardly. This was going to be alright.

"But" Arabelle said as she stood up, "If you harm my family in any way, I will turn her into a vampire myself"

"It won't happen. As long as you stay away from us, we won't do anything to your family." Stefan said.

"Let me remind you Stefan" Arabelle said, he gaze hard on him, "We won't go back on our word, once it was given. It is you who must remember to not break a promise."

Ouch, that hurt.

Arabelle nodded to Nadia, who went out of the living room. After a few minutes, they met her in the foyer, a sleeping Elena in her arms.

She passed her to Stefan. "She's tired. Let her rest" Nadia said.

With that, Damon and Stefan left to inform the gang of the deal.

Once they left, Arabelle turned toward Niklaus, "So, brother, Father's dead. I think it's time for certain someone to join our family."

Niklaus smirked. "Nadia, come on, poppet. We are going to go get your mother"

Arabelle had already performed a locator spell. So she knew where she was. "Off to Willoughby, then"

On their way, Arabelle asked the question that was burning in her mind for almost an hour. "So, you said you found your mate"

"I did" Niklaus said.

"Who is it?" Arabelle asked as sweetly as possible.

Niklaus gave her a look, that clearly said that he was not buying it.

"Please?" Arabelle tried again.

Niklaus chuckled. "Alright, I saw her last night"

Arabelle thought for a moment, only then it dawned on her. "Caroline Forbes?" she asked with wide eyes.

Niklaus chuckled with a slight nod.

After two and a half hours of drive, they reached the town that was oddly compelled. Every occupant of the town was compelled. Arabelle chuckled; she sure was a incredible woman. But Niklaus picked up her scent. After searching half of the town, her scent suddenly stopped.

They walked up to the portico of the house and knocked. The door opened to reveal none other than Katerina Petrova.

"Hi Katerina" Niklaus said.

"Klaus" Katerina said, unmask able fear shinning in her eyes. "Are you here to kill me?"

Niklaus chuckled, "No, I am here to offer you your freedom"

Confusion was evident in her eyes, "What?"

"Yes, Katerina you have your freedom." Niklaus said. "Can we come inside? It is best to talk inside"

Katerina nodded and called the house owner, an old woman and asked her to invite us inside. Once inside, they all moved to the living room to continue the talk.

"Klaus, are you really serious?" Katerina asked one more time.

"Yes" Niklaus said, "I was angry at you when you escaped. I wanted to kill you. I figured that you would go to Bulgaria to your family. I killed the entire village and compelled your mother to tell me where they left your daughter"

Katerina swallowed hard.

"But when I found her, I couldn't. I took her in, raised her. As the days went my anger on you decreased, I wanted to bring you into the family, so you can live with your daughter and my brother. I knew you love him. But with my father constantly on our necks, I didn't want to bring you into the cross fire." Niklaus smiled, "I want you to be a part of our family, where you belong. I want to call you my sister. Will you come with us?"

By the end, Katerina had tears in her eyes. She nodded, "Thank you. Where is my daughter?"

Niklaus gestured toward Nadia who was standing just beside him, "Katerina, meet Nadia Petrova Mikaelson. Your daughter"

"Hi, Mother" Nadia said, in her impeccable British accent.

Without another word, Katerina engulfed her in a tight hug. Arabelle could understand it. She spent five hundred years without even knowing how her daughter looked like. Now to have her in her arms, it must feel incredible.

Arabelle talked for the first time since they got there, "Well, let's go. We have a family to undagger"

They chuckled as they left the house.

Hope you liked it. As I mentioned in my previous update, my favourite doppelganger joined the family. Next chapter: Mikaelson family reunion, with some confrontation.

Until next time...
