Here's the update so many of you PM'd me requesting. Sorry it took so long. I had three computers died within the last week alone. Of course, the 'newest' was over 8-years-old. So, I guess, it was about time to lay them to rest, LOL. Without any further a do, here's the next installment in this series.

Touchdown
"We're nearing Middleton, Miss," the senior load master informs their passenger.
"How much longer til we're there?"
"10-minutes, Miss".
"Thank you".
Kim uses her tablet's satellite access, taps into Ron's kimmunicator, and triangulates his current location. Google maps displays an all-too-familiar location. "Bueno Nacho, where else would he be?" She giggles nostalgically checking her jump gear.
10-minutes pass in a blink. The senior load master taps her shoulders heading towards and lowering the cargo hold.
Kim nods, walks towards the back, and leaps out at 30,000-feet without a second's hesitation.
He retracts the landing resealing the door shut.
"Major General," a tech analyst notifies him, "our tech re-established our SAT link. We have a positive lock on Kim Possible's location".
Holland couldn't be happier. He'd finally caught a break in this case. He could avenge his people. "How'd you locate her whereabouts?"
"Kim Possible used Lieutenant Mae's clearance code to somehow access Paladin-3 triangulating a single cell signal within Middleton, CO".
"Do we know whose cell she tracked?"
"Her partner, Ron Stoppable, Sir. What are your orders?"
"One team will secure her home. A second will lock down her tech geek's house. The rest of you will converge wherever he is. That's where she's headed. You'll apprehend her with extreme prejudice".
"Understood, Sir".
Dr. Director computer flashes a top priority message. She clicks the video link. Kirby pops across her screen. "What do you have, Kirby?"
"My people intercepted transmission between Major General Holland and his Alpha teams, Ma'am. They have a positive lock on Kim Possible's location".
"What were his orders?" She didn't wish to get involved just yet.
"Holland split up his company of agents. One team apiece will secure the Possibles, Stoppables, and Loads' residences. The rest—a more heavily armed band of troops—are converging on Bueno Nacho, Director," Kirby awaits her reaction, and subsequent orders.
"A public establishment? Are you sure about that, Kirby?" That didn't sound like something a man in his position would do. Attacking a public place would expose his secret operation. And exposure would force the government into shutting down his operation.
"I can replay the recording, if you wish, Director," Kirby proposes, if she thought maybe he'd heard the major general wrong.
"Is Holland insane? How many people are inside Beno Nacho?"
"Nearly 30, men, women, and children, Director".
"Please tell me you uncovered something positive around these incriminating videos, Kirby," she prayed he had something, anything, she could use to talk down this irate major general, before his prideful actions expose them all in the worst possible ways.
"Nothing concrete yet, Director," he avoids looking into the monitor. He'd falter under her iconic intimidation lour. "I can tell you with absolute certainty. Both feeds have been digitally remastered. The first altered more than the second. That doesn't necessarily discredit either as fakes yet, Ma'am".
"What do you have?" Dr. Director snaps. "Give me something!"
"Did Commander Du mention an imposture nurse may've visited Agent Possible within hours of her alleged escape, Ma'am?"
"No. No, he didn't," she glares hard towards her young assistant.
"I was gonna..." Will goes to explain.
Dr. Director cuts him off, "What'd you find, Kirby".
"Well, he was correct. A strange nurse did visit Agent Possible. And that nurse wasn't Lieutenant Mae. This imposture's name was Diamonique Rose, a.k.a. Gama Rose".
"Are you absolutely certain?" Dr. Director immediately recognized the name.
"Six analysts verified her identity, Director".
"Let me make a few calls. I'll get back with you, Kirby".
"I'll be here and waiting, Director," he signs off.
Betrayal Never Cut So Deep
Kim free-falls at over 120-mph caterwauling, while doing aerial acrobatics. It wasn't til just then, she realized she'd been cooped up way too long. She hadn't felt this alive in quite some time. She waits til 5,500-feet deploying her parachute. She glides into a nearby overgrown field scouting Beno Nacho. She approaches the back making her way towards the front.
Indigo started wearing an earpiece since Boyd's arrival in town. That way, she could stay in touch 24/7 with her mother, and vie versa. Neither trusted that vengeful cop. "Scarlett Indigo 7 Arms," a rugged voice comes over her earpiece.
Her eyes pulsate and pupils dilate. Indigo felt dizzy and accidentally knock over her drink. Pink lemonade splashes over the table and all over Ron's shirt and pants.
"Ah, Man..." He didn't register the pink cloud around them. His eyes dilate like hers. He reaches over and wraps Indigo in his arms kissing her passionately.
Kim walks inside about this time. "Ron Stoppable, how could you?" She shouts with bitter tears.
Her voice snaps his back to reality. "Kim?" He breaks their kiss, only then realizing what he'd done and with whom.
Indigo blushes crimson red excusing herself to the lady's room.
"Kim," he chases after but loses her outside. She wasn't anywhere in sight. Gunshots drive him back inside. Various caliber automatic rounds shatter the restaurant's front windows. Glass shards sprays inward covering young and old alike.
"Commander, we have an audience," a soldier points towards a rusty yellow van. The assault team consisted ten elite soldiers. Each wore composite-mesh body armor and carrying various assault rifles. Four stood guard over the restaurant. The rest starts towards the van.
Boyd jumps out the driver's seat and into the back.
Those advancing spot movement inside the van's cab. All six open up with raw fury. 4,000-5000 AP shred the van's fiberglass flattening its front tires, piercing the radiator, and blowing off its hood. Boyd smelt gas pooling beneath his vehicle. He couldn't stand without getting shot. He crawl-runs, staying low as possible. An electrical spark ignites the liquid accelerant triggering the van's remaining gas. The resulting explosion spreads fiberglass over the street and restaurant parking lot.
Kim targets each individual gunman tagging his body armor with nano-dot infusers, while distracted with Boyd. The nano-dots sprout legs crawling up each gunman's body. Each stops near the neck, bores a hole through the rubbery polymer, and attaches tiny electrodes onto their necks. Kim flips a single switch. Every gunman casts aside his weapon, drops upon his/her knees, and grabs his/her ears, while screams unto the top of their lungs.
Commander Roberts signals his remaining men. Each spread out and start towards their companions.
Kim taps her kimmunicator twice activating her armor. She crouches atop Bueno Nacho in stealth mode marking their every move. She leaps off landing amidst very confused, agitated soldiers. Kim deploys a modified 30-inch long, 3-cm thick cane striking the nearest hostile.
The man on his right goes down hard holding his right leg and wailing, "My leg! My leg! I think it's broken!" His companions glare towards their commander.
Their eyes didn't see anyone. IFR and thermal came up clean, too. And yet, he distinctly heard his man's femur shatter. Something hit him. And it wasn't the wind.
Commander Roberts signals his orders, '3, 2, 1, 0'. Him and his last two agents spray cover fire over the entire area. Each hoped they'd get lucky and hit something. Their chambers click empty. They still hadn't ascertained what they're up against here.
Kim strikes an opponent upside the head brutally hard. His head snaps forward. She spins around rapping his heels, and sweeps his feet from underneath him. His whole body flips over landing flat on his back. She shimmers into view wearing a sleek black formfitting armored catsuit. She takes the last gunman in a headlock confiscates and jams his own MP7 assault rifle into his back.
"Drop your weapons, or I waste him," she bids the commander.
"He knows and accepts a soldier's sacrifice," he opens fires.
Her human shield screams in mortal terror, flailing his arms and kicking his legs, but unable to free himself from her grip. 5.56-mm rounds masticated his body armor burrowing a little deeper with each hit, until hitting enough vital organs and he succumbs to the pain and blood loss and quits moving.
Kim matches the commander's steely determination. She targets his lower limbs firing on full auto.
Automatic gunfire amputates one leg, while yanking the other from beneath him. The commander's head hits the pavement so hard. He loses his grip. His weapon slides over by her right foot. He lay on the ground rolling back and forth screaming in unsurpassed pain.
Martial Response
Danger passed. She puts away her weapons, she still needed answers. Kim drags the half-crippled commander over pinning him against Bueno Nacho's outer wall. She injects him with 3-cc of Demerol. His pain subsides some. She leans in closer demanding menacingly, "Who sent you to kill me?"
"Gama Rose," he kept reciting the same name.
Kim peels back his mental defenses peeking inside. She was terrified by what she saw. Gama Rose was her discharge nurse, who distracted her, while this idiot and his team murdered Dr. Tomlin and Daisy Mae.
Gama Rose, then, impersonated Kim's nurse arranging her 'release,' where Major General Holland would believe, she'd murdered his people in orchestrating her own escape. He'd bought this assassin's ruse hook, line, and sinker. He didn't know any better.
Commander Roberts comes to enough, realizing he'd been defeated. Protocol demanded their bosses terminate their families, unless he does the honorable thing. "You won't take us alive," he retrieves a remote detonator.
"Like I'd even waste my time trying," Kim casts him aside, letting him kill himself and his men.
"See ya in hell, Bitch," he presses the big red button. He and his men blow up leaving potential prisoners behind.
"Annie, activate castle defenses and set the sentries on guard. Lethal action is permissible".
"Will do, Kiddo," the AI gets busy processing her orders.
"Ron, is that your girlfriend?" Indigo backs away in terror.
"Yea, that's her in full glory," she shows some concern, "although she usually isn't so violent".
"KP, let me explain...," he steps between Kim and the new girl.
"Save it, Stud Muffin," Kim rejects his lies. She notices her competition's purse, dumped over the floor, and envelopes sticking out. She snatches up an envelope, tears open its leaflet, and reads the first few lines, but casts it aside madder than ever, realizing it was a love letter, Indigo to Ron, even referencing their email exchange. "Grab your whore and follow me".
"Miss Possible, I'm..."
"Save your breath, Strawberry," Kim rejects Indigo's apology over kissing her Ron. She felt betrayed enough when Bonnie kissed him. This hurt worse.
"Who are these people, KP?" Ron tries to redirect her rage.
"They're supposed to be Alpha-4 Golden Shade assassins".
"Who are they after?" Ron didn't recognize the name. And he'd dealt with Yamanouchi.
"You and me," she answers him curtly.
"Why?"
"Ask Clementine there," Kim singles out Indigo. "She may not be with them. She certainly plays a key role in their convoluted plans".
Safety's Dark Side
"What should we do?"
"Take Cherry Blossom and head back home. Your family needs you. Team Possible's going Copper Shih Tzu immediately, Monkey Man".
"I understand, KP," Ron apologies with his mournful tone.
"I hope you do, Ronald," she didn't buy his apology. "One slip and it could cost our families their lives".
"Cherry Blossom, leave his side for any reason. I don't care your excuse. You're on your own".
"I'll stick with him, Miss Possible".
Kim didn't appreciate her insinuation. She grabs her neck, leans in closer, and whispers, "Don't ever kiss my man again. Do, and I'll beat you to a bloody pulp". Her hands start to glow purple.
"KP..." Ron intervenes, knowing their chis were one now. Rufus also infused her with his MMPs before passing away. Kim did something he'd never approved. She burrowed through the desert, found the YoNo's temple, and drain's Monkey Fist's mojo. MMPs glowed blue; the YoNo crimson red. Dark blue and red mix into a violet purple.
"Stay out of this, Stud Muffin. We tigresses are scratching out turf, you," she winks seductively, before resuming her calm demeanor.
Kim no sooner gets outside.
"Freeze, you're under arrest," a very authoritative voice bids behind her.
Kim raises both hands careful turning around. And there he stood. The very cop's life she'd saved earlier trying to take her into custody. She'd broken numerous laws and ordinances. She sizes up her situation. Middleton PD probably issued him a standard Glock 22, armed with a standard 15-round, .40-S&W clip.
"Why don't you put that thing down? We're on the same..."
"I have the badge. You don't give the orders here. I talk, you listen. Those are my rules. Now, walk towards me very slowly…"
Annie swoops between them, shimmers into view, and extends shields around her owner. Kim starts towards him. Annie shielding her the whole way.
Boyd perceives her a threat. He witnessed her take down an entire assault team alone. He wasn't taking any chances firing without hesitation. Every .40-S&W rounds ricochet off the coupe's shields without leaving a scratch. He hesitates ever so slightly.
Kim seizes her opening and sprints into action. She moved so fast. He never saw her budge. The next thing he knew, she was there, her right hand wrapped around his throat, right hand pinning him against a nearby vehicle.
She confiscates then crushes his .40 S&W in her bare hands, leans in mere inches from his ear spiriting, "Watch Cherry Blossom over there all you want," she gestures towards Indigo, "I won't say a word. You ever put my man in danger again, like you did today. Your bosses won't even bother hunting for all the pieces when my boss is done with your pathetic career".
"I'm adding destroying police property, resisting arrest, and threatening a police officer against..."
"I didn't threaten anyone. My boss did. I'd show you her resolve, if my family wasn't in danger," she stuffs her G.J. card into his shirt pocket and casts him aside. She climbs into Annie lifting off.
"You can't escape the law, Possible" he takes down her tag6 number.
Kim heard what he said. She hovers above him countering, "I'm a cop, too, an international cop, You Imbecile. Only, my jurisdiction far exceeds yours. In fact, I can arrest anyone, anywhere, on this planet within certain limitation.
Just read my card inside your shirt pocket, Ass-Hat. Call my boss. Her direct line is listed on the back. Trust me, whatever your name is, she'll be happy to take down your complaint regarding my actions then shove that report straight up your backside," Kim takes off, leaving a fuming cop behind.
"Is she always so forceful?" Indigo sizes up her competition.
"Nah, this is one of her better days".
Indigo knew immediately, the blonde boy wasn't joking this time. She trails his eyes marking the purple coupe's trek across the sky.
"Let's go," Ron drag her towards straddling his scooter, and her behind him grasping his waist again. He cranks his moped rotating the throttle counterclockwise. A section peels back revealing a red button. He pulls into traffic and starts down the road pressing the button. Twin rockets materialize on both sides. He presses the same button again igniting them both. The moped picks up speed blazing past everything else along their way home.
Indigo closes her eyes screaming in terror, and holding on for dear life.
His computer beeps displaying Kim's wrist kimmunicator identification. "Kim, you're alive? But, how...?"
"No time for 20 questions, Wade. Team Possible's going Copper Shih Tzu".
"What's going on?"
"Team Possible's marked for immediate termination. And this threat comes from the highest levels. Get your family underground. Don't argue. Leave everything behind. All your systems have been compromised! In fact, they're listening in on this very conversation. Bye, Wade," she disconnects without any further explanation.
Wade didn't bother debating her precautions. Kim wasn't the timid type. She'd only take such drastic measures, if absolutely necessary, and only as a last resort. He heads outside his bedroom notifying his parents. They didn't argue, either. All three leave with the clothes on their backs.
Knock, Knock, Boom
Kim lands half a block away scouting the neighborhood while making her way home. She couldn't see any viable threats. Thermal, IFR, and spectral power distribution didn't detect any cloaked soldiers or vessels anywhere near her home.
She heads up the walk and loads her modified air cannon firing. Three circular disks soar through the air attaching onto the top, bottom, and middle section of the front door. All three emit a prolonged beep detonating in-sync. The resulting blast obliterates the home's entrance leaving a gaping hole.
Jim and Tim rush into the living room.
"Who's there?" Jim questions their intruder. A svelte silhouette appears amidst the smoke and debris heading towards them.
"Halt or we will fire," Tim backs up his brother.
"With what tweebs," Kim teases, now that she had their undivided attention.
"Kimmie-Cub," James exclaims, followed by...
"Kimmie," her mother and brothers exclaim together in shock rushing towards.
Kim steps into open view.
All four stop cold. Each immediately recognized two things. And both gave them ample cause for alarm. First, she was covered in blood. Second, and most alarming, she was wearing The Phoenix Shroud Armor (her deadliest armor ever).
Her dad realized, she'd only wear this armor if their lives were in mortal danger. "Kim, what's going on here?" He inquires about what they're up against here.
"There's no time to explain, Dad," she begs him to trust her. She wasn't delusional either. "Let's go!"
"But, we can't..." Jim goes to protest.
"There's no time!"
"But…" Time seconds his brother's concerns.
Kim ignites her palms, "Either you can leave walking or being carried, the choice is yours. Now let's go, Tweebs!" She points them towards the door.
"What about our clones?" Her mom voices a different set of concerns.
"Leave with the clothes on your backs, Mom," Kim wouldn't give her time to pack.
"Kim, we have company headed our way?"
"Same ones, Annie?"
"Afraid not, Kiddo," the A.I. relays worse news. "Our sentries cut down their Alpha-4 team, before their feet even hit ground zero. Our enemies, however, responded by dispatching three Alpha-5 Scarlet Jackal teams".
Kim realized she could no longer safely evacuate her family without getting spotted. Her enemies had called in reinforcements. She needed to even the battlefield. She calls in her own reinforcements ordering, "Annie, wake up Sheva and Sapphire".
"Not them. Anything but them," Annie complains bitterly over her competition.
"No choice, Girl".
Her family races outside the house, but stops cold again.
A sleek black armored Rhino SUV shimmers into view. "Woohoo, time for some action," Sheva exclaims boisterously revving her engine.
"Kimmie-Cub, what is that thing?"
"She's my transportation, Dad. Annie's yours".
"Why aren't you coming with us?"
"Simple, Mom. These assassins are after me. Annie still has the best defensive gadgets for eluding their detection. Sheva's built more for offense. I'll serve as the distraction, while Ron gets you all to safety".
"Jim, you're the better driver," she hands him Annie's keys.
"Tim, you know her controls better. Keep her cloaked and defenses active. We're up against an enemy the likes of which we've never dealt with before. If in doubt, shoot to kill," she gives an order her parents never imagined they'd hear coming from their daughter's lips.
"Where are we headed, Sis?" Jim ask the obvious, knowing Kim set up a safe haven somewhere.
"Last Day's Knight, Boys". That was the code name of Team Possible's last resort safe house.
"We understand," Tim enters their safe house's address into Annie's NAV system.
James and Anne Possible didn't know its location. Apparently, their children did. Both climb in the backseat without delay.
Kim climbs into the large SUV, revs its engine loudly, and takes off speeding down the road.
Across The Hood
A similar Rhino shimmers into view outside the Stoppable's front door. The AI greets them revving its engines loudly.
"Whoa," Hanna rushes up stroking its sleek metallic body.
"Hanna, get away from that thing..."
"This thing, Pants-In-Boots, has a name," the AI reproves Shego-like attitude.
"And you are?" Ron poses with an arched brow.
"I'm Sheva's twin, Sapphire, Hot Lips".
Hanna giggles, glancing sideways at her brother, "Why'd she call you Hot Lips, Bro?"
"Never mind," he turns beet red. "Get inside. Kim apparently sent us a ride".
"What about my mom?" Indigo asks near tears. That question barely graces her lips. A massive blast decimates her home leveling her two closest neighbor's homes, scattering bits and pieces of her home over a half-block radius.
"Mama!" she bursts into tears starting towards her now demolished home.
Ron chases after, catches up with, and holds her immobile. She fought with her full might, but just couldn't break his steadfast hold. "Sapphire, was there someone inside that house?"
"Affirmative, Ronald".
"Any life signs?"
"Negative, calling a coroner's wagon now".
"No. No. No," Indigo collapses, not caring if she lives or dies. Her whole world shattered; parents dead and no living relatives. She was alone.
Ron picks up the catatonic girl, carries her over, places her inside the front passenger seat, and leans over buckling her safety belt. He shuts her door, walks around the vehicle, climbs into the driving seat, and buckles his own seat belt.
"Where are we headed, Sapphire?" Ron poses, while his family buckles up in the back.
"Last Day's Knight, Blonde," Sapphire signals their destination without giving away its location.
Relatively Sensual
"Will, get into my office".
Will Du wastes no time. He'd no sooner enters his superior's office. Her computer chimes with yet another video call. Dr. Director recognize the vid-link ID answering, "What do you have, Kirby?"
"Ma'am, Middleton Bueno Nacho just turned into an all-out war zone".
"What happened?"
"Ten heavily armed militants wearing nano-polymer body armor parachuted outside Bueno Nacho. All ten open up shredding the restaurant's exterior with various caliber automatic fire".
"Was anyone hurt?"
"Remarkably, there are no reported casualties, Director," he couldn't believe it himself. He had to double-check those facts personally.
"Who were they after?"
"I believe, Agent Stoppable, Ma'am," Kirby leaves off the part about Stoppable's new girlfriend and how Middleton PD suspecting the Blonde Boy being the new top pimp in town. He didn't relish bringing up that blog with his female superior. He hoped they'd ask the right question. He could bring up certain details. Maybe her haughty shadow could expose these sordid details for him.
"Fine," she cedes that point. "Can you describe these militants?"
"I can do better," he splits her monitor screen. His video display on one side. A close-up of these militants assaulting Bueno Nacho comes into focus on the other.
Dr. Director squints at her screen with vague recognition. "Can you enlarge this section?" Her finger touches their leader's right shoulder patch.
"Give me a sec, Director," Kirby's hands fly across his keyboard. Her computer auto-zooms, even bringing the picture in clearer.
And that's when she saw what'd triggered such faint recognition. She hadn't seen that patch in nearly 10-years. Meet an operative and you never forget again. "Oh, hell," was all she could muster.
"Director, you know these people?"
"I don't know these men, Commander. I recognize that patch," she hesitates, something off about said patch. She wasn't sure what, yet. "It represents Alpha-4 Golden Shade assassins".
He'd heard the rumors as a G.J. cadet. JFK sanctioned a special group within all branches of military service during the Cold War. He charged these men and women with guarding this country's military secrets at all costs. Similar groups sprouted up over the years. All adopted similar mandates. Golden Shade was among the first. "Are you positive, Ma'am?"
"The distinction is undeniable, Commander," she directs his attention towards the monitor. "Notice that patch," the camera zooms in closer. "Golden Shade adopted the Griffin symbol, a mythical but fiercely protective creature, lion's body with eagle's head and wings. Their bloody, four-section wings denotes them Alpha-4 level assassins. That, and there's more behind this attack than meets the eye".
"What'd they do next, Kirby?"
And there was his opening. Kirby could easily redirect the commander's inquiry where he'd bring up this blog, not him. And he knew just how. Bueno Nacho installed heavier surveillance inside their Middleton store after Lil' Diablo. He'd accessed those cameras earlier and compiled a video detailing what'd transpired there. "This video will explain everything, Ma'am". He hits play.
"Commander, we have an audience," an assailant points off camera.
Customers corralled inside the restaurant. Four militants stood guard over their prey, while the rest advanced off screen. That video ends. Another segment pops up on her screen. All six assailants gather around the front of a rusty yellow van. Dr. Director freezes the video, zooms on the license plate, and runs the number, "776-GTK".
Her computer spits back what she least expected. "Oh, this just gets better and better," she rubs her aching head. "This case has more twists and turns, than a snake caught inside a drainage pipe".
"Problem, Director?" Will asks, curious over her reaction.
"Commander, that 1996 GMC Savana's registered unto Middleton PD, being used for surveillance by Detective Carlos 'Two-Story' Boyd".
"Maybe he can tell us what transpired there?"
"My thoughts exactly," Dr. Director picks up her phone dialing the detective directly.
