Chapter 1: Students of Odin
(Today is a perfect day at sea. Seagulls and pelicans are flying above an ocean while dolphins leap in and out of the water, chittering happily. Then, a sailing ship emerges from the fog, crashing the waves. The dolphins dive back into the water)
Sailors: I'll tell you
a tale
of the bottomless blue
and it's
hey to the starboard
heave ho
look out lad
a mer-girl
be waiting
for you
in mysterious
fathoms below
(On top of the deck, there's a young boy with light brown eyes and dark black hair. His name was Miguel Rivera.)
(Next to him is Percy who's enjoying the weather.)
Miguel: "Isn't this great? The salty sea air, the wind blowing in your face. (sighs happily) Perfect day to be at sea."
(Emperor Kuzco doesn't look well. He's bright green in the face.)
Emperor Kuzco: (sarcastically) "Oh yes, delightful." (he begins vomiting right over the railing which is a bit violent for the sea critters.)
Sonic: "A fine strong wind and a following sea. Odin must be in a friendly-type mood."
Miguel: "Odin?"
Knuckles: "Why, true king and master of the mer-people, Sonic, thought every good sailor knew about him.
Emperor Kuzco: "Mer-people. (he scoffs a bit) Miguel, pay no attention to this nautical nonsense."
(Tails holds a fish and waves it in front of Emperor Kuzco.)
Tails: But it's not nonsense, it's the truth. I'm telling you, down in the depths of the ocean they live.
(The fish in Tails's right hand flops, slips right outta his hands, and slaps Emperor Kuzco in the face numerous times right before jumping right back in the ocean, relieved.)
Sailors: heave ho
heave ho
In mysterious fathoms
below
(The fish dives and looks up at the ship. Then he sighs and swims away.)
(The theme from Part of Your World is playing. Various sea critters are swimming around. Mer-people converge on a great undersea palace, filling the concert hall inside.)
