Alice softly hummed along to her music, focusing on her homework. Chewing on the pen cap, her feet tapped against the floor softly. Thankfully there wasn't anyone in the dorm room below hers so she didn't have to worry about bothering anyone.

She finished a math problem and slowly stretched out, glancing up when she saw a shadow pass by her window. Shifting, she slowly stood up as the shadow moved again. Extending her claws, she carefully peeked around the curtain to peer outside.

She yelped when Inasa dropped on the balcony and retracted her claws, flicking the lock to open the door. "What the hell are you doing?"

He grinned widely and stepped inside, his cloak fluttering behind him. "I wanted to see you! I noticed you were nonverbal today and thought you'd be feeling better since it's late! So, how do you feel?"

She glanced away from his eyes as he stared directly into her, dark eyes shining brightly. "I'm okay, it was just one of those days."

He nodded and opened his arms, gently squeezing her when she leaned into him for a hug. "Want to go flying? It's a great night! There aren't many clouds and it's a bit cold, but I can keep you warm!"

She smiled slightly and nodded, squeaking when he scooped her into his arms. "Wait! Let me get a jacket on!"

He stepped onto the balcony, shutting the door quietly before taking off into the sky. "Hold on!"

She squealed and clung to his shirt, tucking her face in his chest. "Inasa!"

He laughed, adjusting her easily to guide her legs around his waist to hold her better as he flew through the skies. Flying without his gear took a bit more effort, sure, but it wasn't that much harder. She smiled against him, peeking up to look at the sky that flew by.

He held onto her as he guided them to the city park, easily landing them out of site. "That was thrilling, wasn't it! Flying's always so much fun!"

She stood up and held onto his arm, jolting when her bare feet met the cool, damp grass. "It's a bit scary. Aren't you ever scared that you'll fall?"

He shook his head quickly and held her shoulders as he guided her to sit on a bench. "Nope! I'm not scared of anything! Even when I was younger, I loved everything from bugs to frogs to being up really high! When I got good enough to fly with my quirk, I could barely stay on the ground! Though, I did hit a lot of doorways."

She giggled softly and squeezed his hand, leaning into his warm side. "That must be nice, not being scared of anything."

He nodded firmly, smiling widely down at her. "Oh, I hope I didn't interrupt you! Were you doing homework? We can go back now if you need to! I'm sorry!"

She squeaked when he moved to bow and tightened her grip on his arm, shaking her head quickly. "No! I mean, yes, I was working on homework, but I can finish it later as long as we don't stay out too late. Not too late, Inasa."

He settled back and nodded, rubbing his hand along her upper arm. "Not too long! You've got goosebumps, here! Wear this!"

She smiled when he unbuttoned his cloak and stood up when he nudged her, easily reaching up to wrap it around her shoulders. She was only as tall standing as he was sitting after all. He easily buttoned them and nodded firmly, gently guiding her to sit down beside him, personal space nonexistent.

She relaxed into his side, softly purring as her tail curled around his wrist. "Thank you, Inasa."

He smiled widely, kissing the top of her head. "You're welcome! Oh, do I need to be quieter? Your ears twitched."

She smiled softly and squeezed his hand. "Your volume is fine, I don't mind"

He nodded, gently squeezing her hand, looking up at the sky. She softly purred as she relaxed into his side, tracing her fingertips along the back of his hand. He gripped her hand gently, his knuckles twitching every so often.

Alice blinked when Inasa moved, one of his hands gripping her shoulder. "Sorry, did I doze off?"

Inasa smiled and gently scooped her up, tucking her close. "We should get back. Do you need help with your homework?"

She nodded, wrapping her arms around his broad chest. "Yeah, it's math and the numbers are confusing. I can't remember which rule we learned today."

He nodded and took off, holding her to his chest. "I'll help! The first step to becoming a hero is a will to help others, after all! I'll help anyone in need!"

She smiled softly, nuzzling against his collar. "Thank you, Inasa."
