Chapter 2: Old friends

"Remnants" the boy said

Noctis replied with a confuse look on his face "Where's that?"

The little boy gave a brief summary of the new world talking about dust, hunters and Huntresses, grimm and faunus. before he could tell Noctis anymore the kid is called by his mother. The young boy runs off to the call of his mother and yells "MY NAMES LUKE BY THE WAY" Noctis smiles but then quickly realizes "where am i gonna sleep?"

Noctis wanders around for a couple hours lost until nightfall.

bzz* *bzz*

Noctis had heard a phone but he's not carrying one, he notices a symbol appear in front of him with lightening surrounding it.

fwoosh*

Suddenly a car had appeared out of the white symbol, the car was long, black and with a convertible roof. Noctis recognised the car instantly, "The regalia" noctis said with a confused look on his face.

Suddenly he heard voices coming from the car, each voices complaining about the landing, Noctis walks up to the regalia and jokingly says "you guys sure took your time"

Ignis, Gladiolus and Prompto all look up to see Noctis "NOCT!" the three say in unison. The boys rejoice together

"sorry for the wait" Ignis said to Noctis

"you do remember that he made us wait 10 years" Gladiolus says jokingly while pushing noctis softly

"well I'm worth the wait" prompto adding himself into the conversation.

"how did you get here?" noctis asks

Ignis explains that they took apart the omega weapon and cidney helped add a dimensional teleporter to the car "but sadly it was only good for one trip" Ignis explained. He explained that the omega was created to kill the astrals and how it can travel through dimension, "we were only able to find your location because you have the blessings of the gods.

Noctis looks at the boys and say "so how do you explain why you all look like teenagers?"

Prompto freaks out while Gladio admires his teenage body, Ignis suggests that it might be a side effect of the dimensional travel. The four boys eventually decide to set camp and begin setting up. Gladiolus begins pitching the tents while Ignis starts cooking, Prompto pulls out his camera and takes photos while Noctis sets up the chairs.

The boys eat and talk about all the good times they've had and asking about how the final battle with Ardyn went. After everything was over and the boys went to sleep.

BOOM!*

The loud noise had woken them up, Noctis and the others ran outside quickly noticing smoke and fire in the distance, the boys rush to the regalia and start the car. They can hear a mob of people crying and hear other people threatening them. Ignis jumps in drivers seat with Prompto in the passenger seat and Noctis and Gladiolus in the back, Ignis begins driving forward while avoiding trees and rocks till eventually he finds an opening and starts the type F procedure. The car begins to fly and ignis flys above the village "GO NOCT!" Ignis yells.

Noctis throws his engine blade in to the centre of the small village, Noctis teleports to his sword leaving behind a crystal like blue trail. While in the village noctis notices that everyone is a faunus, Noctis looks around and can notice people setting fires to their homes. A stream of blue lines begin to apear as noctis teleports around the town knocking out the people setting fire. Noctis drops on one knee after using too much magic. A man from the distance has a rocket launcher and fires it towards Noctis. BOOM!

As the smoke cleared the man who fired the rocket notices a shield. Gladiolus summons his blade and rushes into battle with Prompto and Ignis supporting him. Noctis raises his hand in the air and begins absorbing the fire. The men who attacked the village were amateur so the fight didn't last long.

"It's alright, you can come out now" Noctis says outloud.

Everyone in the village hide from them, no one saying a word. Noctis notices the fear in their expression and eyes, so him and others begin to leave. "Mister!" Noctis hears a small voice from the distance.

"Mister... Mister... MISTER!!" it was Luke calling out from a distance.

The boy began to run towards Noctis with a huge smile on his, Luke explains that he knows Noctis. The village begin slowly emerge and talk to them, embracing them as one of their own.

[1 week later]

"Beacon academy, that's where we're going" Ignis says to the other 3 boys.
