The demolition of the scene was obsolete. A junk yard of debris that was left from a battle that neither of them had been a part of but yet here they were.
Kathryn Janeway stepped over the debris with ease as she held a large weapon aloft looking over the surrounding area and then at her partner.
"Why are you undressing me with your eyes, Kathryn Janeway." Seven of Nine said trudging through the field easily traipsing over the large rubble with her long limbs.
"Don't I always, my love." Kathryn winked at her before stooping low to the ground as Seven did the same.
"Kathryn, enemy coming from your nine." Seven whispered and nodded over her shoulder. "Should I cover, or should you cover. Despite our circumstances I am compelled to tell you this:"
Kathryn was caught off guard by this question. "Tell me what?" Her head shook along with her shiny hair.
"I always prefer to cover you." Seven winked and grinned.
Gun fire started to reign over them.
Kathryn gun rolled over to the nearest vantage point and fired off six perfect bullets into six willing skulls before turning her back to the large rubble she was using as shelter. She looked over at Seven who grinned and the lunged into the battle as well.
Seven did not roll towards a point of safety. Seven ran directly at the enemy and picked up a large body that was shot down by Janeway and held it up as a shield before standing tall and throwing it towards two aliens trying to escape the Borg that was suddenly nearing their camp. She ducked down only slightly to re-load her weapon and to look behind and make sure her beloved was safe as well. She held out her left hand and when she felt Kathryn's fingers slide through her own, she knew they could move on.
"Kathryn we cannot lose this battle." She looked over her shoulder still holding Kathryn's hand. "I have to go in without you." She clenched her fingers tight.
Kathryn let go quickly and stood up oblivious to the dangers.
"SIT DOWN- Kathryn this seems the most idiotic act I've seen you use in combat." Seven growled and threw Janeway to the ground hard causing her suit to light up red along the edges.
Janeway sat up slowly on her knees as she sat down the large weapon.
"And for me I thought the most idiotic act was expecting you to not throw yourself to that Cube." Janeway stood up and kicked Seven to the ground and then quickly sat on her pining her weapon arm down and moved it away from them both. "And here you are again just deciding that you should go alone and leave me fucking behind." Janeway was no match for Seven but she proved a willing component.
Seven growled being pined down on the ground as much more pertinent matters deemed worthy.
"Kathryn Fucking Janeway. You always assumed what was right for your crew, but I am not your crew anymore." Seven sat up and fully used her left hand to push Kathryn on the ground and grapple across her body. "And you have always assumed that you knew what was proper and approved by Starfleet.." Seven continued holding Janeway down who squirmed and kicked and eventually head butted Seven in the face only for Seven to reciprocate the action.
"But I am not you crew anymore, Captain…I am your wife…and I will do what I need….to make sure…you are safe…. forever." Seven let go of Janeway's collar and sat back on her haunches away from her wife. "But you knew this would happen." She said pulling Janeway up as well.
Kathryn Janeway stood up fully despite the danger it presented and the concerned face that formed on Seven's beautiful ivory smile.
"Then go." Kathryn said as she wiped her face and picked up the large weapon that was tossed to the side. "But I will come and get you. I won't let you join them again. I promise." Kathryn started to tear up but her strong demeanor guffed it up to a strong breath in and a slow breath out. "Get in there and do what you need and then come back to me." Kathryn jumped forward quickly. "Come back to me." And she kissed Seven deeply.
Seven dropped her weapon and held the small waist of her wife closely while moving her mouth melodically over the lips she dreamed about. "I will never leave you." Seven exhaled as Kathryn pushed her into a large portion of rubble and heard a large yelp from Seven but didn't stop. She kissed her so deeply the sweat running from her forehead was apart of the salty goodbye she'd have from her lover.
"You will." Janeway said pulling her mouth away from the bliss she loved. "You wouldn't go in there if you believed you'd come back to me." Kathryn picked up her weapon and the shoved Seven roughly. "Pick up your fucking weapon Seven. Remember to watch your six." She nodded with teary eyes but a stern jaw.
Seven picked up her weapon and knew that this was her lover's way of trying to not break down and sob. Seven had seen if before and she never wanted to see it again, but this was different circumstances.
"I love you more than song can tell." Seven said.
"I love you more than song can tell." Janeway whispered as she watched Seven run towards the giant Borg cube that sat off a hundred feet from them. She watched until she couldn't see her anymore and then chose her vantage point. She felt slightly too old to be raiding Borg cubes, but this was important to Seven and they had been vigilantes throughout the quadrant for a decade.
They had decided to make this their last rescue mission, but it wasn't a rescue mission. It was a saving mission. Seven knew that if this Cube was left on this fucked planet than it would have been used for horrible evil.
.,.,.,.,.,.,..,.,.,.,.,.,
"I thought you enjoyed it when I wore my new vigilante costume?" Kathryn Janeway said twirling before her wife.
Her outfit was strictly leather black and tight despite a long red stripe that lit up during conflict so allies could see you.
"I enjoy it aesthetically, Kathryn, however, I do not enjoy the job it will entail." Seven said leaning back into their large bed.
Kathryn Janeway sighed and jumped on the bed and slinked towards her wife.
"I thought you would enjoy my newly minted outfit to help you with your Fenris Rangers, my sweet Seven." Janeway moved towards Seven who sat holding her knees on the bed watching her wife try on the new outfit.
As Janeway approached Seven giggled and stopped her with her foot. "I would like it better if I could see you take it off." Her foot trailed down the front of the leather jacket.
"Oh." Kathryn said sitting up on the bed and pulling the zipper down slowly to expose her chest. "You just like my new outfit so I can take it off is that correct my sweet Seven?"
Seven inhaled through her nose and exhaled in a gravel. "I'd rather take it off myself, but it seems more efficient for you to strip yourself."
Kathryn nodded and backed off of the bed so she could fling the outfit off of her body. Sliding the slick pants down her backside as she watched Seven open her legs with each layer she shed.
"Is this what you like the best about this outfit sweetie?" Janeway was fully naked and standing in front of her wife.
Seven's eyelids grew heavy and she leaned back on the bed and pulled off her clothes. Kathryn immediately wanted to join her, but Seven stopped her with one swish of her foot.
"You must watch." Seven said evil like.
Janeway breathed in deeply and was ready to pounce at the end of the bed while Seven opened her legs and started to touch herself.
"I want to do that." Kathryn said possessively.
"You must watch Kathryn." Seven said.
Her hands moved down her stomach and up to her breasts. She grinded against nothing and moaned as she placed a single finger inside herself and grabbed one fistful of breast with the other.
Janeway was squirming and hovering over her watching as her lover pleased herself and teased her until Seven leaned forward and grabbed a tight nipple in her mouth and salivated and sucked and moved to the other side only getting wetter hearing Kathryn moan and grind against her knee.
"No. I want you to watch." Seven said pushing her lover back again. "Don't you like the way I appear Kathryn Janeway?"
Janeway was salivating and standing up on her knees watching her lover touch herself.
"I do like the way you appear. I want to drown in it. I will grovel for you." She growled impatient.
Seven started to move faster. She tweaked her nipple and flicked her clit.
"That is my job, Seven." Kathryn moaned starting to touch herself.
Seven smiled watching her wife touch herself out of frustration and then grabbed her with her long legs.
"I'm sorry my sweet Kathryn. I'm sorry." She pulled her hands around her wife and they shared a deep long wet kiss.
"No you're not. You aren't sorry." Kathryn Janeway laughed into Seven's chest.
Seven laughed. "I apologize. I only mean to tease you my sweet…"
Seven of Nine moved quickly over the wreckage leading up to the Borg Cube.
Janeway followed behind watching her lover enter the place she had saved her from so many years ago. She shot towards the enemy yelling her barbaric yawp for all to hear. She would lose the love of her life tonight and she knew it.
She ran after Seven as long as she could until the enemy fire became too intense that she had to crouch down and find a vantage point to fire back. Rolling into a corner and rearing up her weapon her suit glowed red again. She remembered the first time it did in front of Seven. How silly it was that her suit had colors of situations. But her she was.
Janeway had a gulp of air and ran quickly in front of the door that was open to the Borg Cube. The amount of fire she saw and felt was like a holiday from Earth in a summer month. She knew that if she kept the entrance safe Seven would succeed.
She crouched around a corner of the Borg Cube and breathed heavily. Not out of fear for herself but out of fear she would let her wife down. Seven and her had joined the rangers. Starfleet and Earth had not welcomed her wife with open arms so she did what anyone in love would do. Leave.
Janeway looked over her shoulder and could over see the entrance and not Seven. It was her time to protect her.
Looking over the pile she was hiding behind she saw a whole battalion running at her location.
Smiling to herself she loaded her run. Her uniform color glowed red.
Fuck whoever goes after my wife.
Seven reached the entrance of the Borg Cube easily. She expected it to be much more secure before remembering how much this mission mattered and how she couldn't falter.
Seven dropped her weapon and ran through the tight corridors quickly remembering how badly time was against her. Each room she was cut out of her left hand let her into and it left her with dread, but she continued with a guff and a shrug thinking, Captain Kathryn Janeway would never let this stop her.
Seven found the Queens Chamber and when she did, she put both of her palms on her knees and laughed and cried and yelled.
"You will not take me again, but I will commandeer this cube and we will end this war." She said.
Seven of Nine grabbed the console right next to the tubules that slung stupidly next to it.
"I will not let it keep me here…Computer. ….Seven of Nine." She said and stabbed her hand into the computer.
The large coils that hung loosely behind the computer came to life and swung forward and stuck sharply into Seven's back as she lunged forwards and her eyesight only saw lime green.
We are Borg. Resistance is Futile.
Janeway made her way into the Cube hearing this all enveloping voice and knowing it was Seven's.
We are Borg. Resistance is futile. We wil…
"Seven!" Janeway threw her gun to the side as a conclusion of explosions pushed the walls and herself towards the floor. "Seve-"
Janeway sat up as she heard Seven's voice throughout the entire Cube and ran as fast as she could to the queens chambers as she heard a multitude of explosions outside the cube.
The cube started to rise.
Janeway slid towards the entryway she heard the warped voice of Seven from. Until she knew it wasn't Seven.
"Captain…Janeway…" It said pulling her up but also pulling her arm out of socket as she screamed. "Resistance is futile. You will compile." It said pulling Janeway who was now half conscious.
Kathryn Janeway opened her weary eyes as she was slammed down inside a chamber, she was very accustomed to.
"If you…think….I….haven't…." She said in deep breaths until she saw her wife.
Seven was black eyed and her spine was tethered to the round cables and as she looked at Kathryn with large dark eyes she coughed and said, "resistance is futile."
