THE DOUBLE EVENT

After the devastating conflict between Godzilla and King Kong, both of them have agreed to achieve and maintain peace for both man and monster. Despite Godzilla's rule ensuring prosperity, there is an attack in Tokyo and in the U.S by two different kaiju. It's up to Godzilla and his allies to solve this issue before it's too late. This is the first story in an upcoming saga.

1. Chapter I: The Aftermath

IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE BATTLE

Godzilla and King Kong battled each other on Skull Island, where both combatants were evenly matched. Once they stopped fighting, the two kaiju agreed to leave each other alone on the condition that they protect the peace between man and monster. After the encounter, Godzilla eventually retreated to The Bikini Atoll, the same place where he was detonated with a powerful nuclear bomb many years ago, but he has called the island his new home due to the fact that his old one was destroyed by a nuclear bomb in order for him to get an energy boost.

On Skull Island, King Kong finally takes control of his own land and tries to rebuild it from the ground up, despite meeting resistance from the skull crawlers and other creatures that threaten the wildlife and human tribes living on the island.

During the Battle, Monarch has developed a device that allows them to communicate with the monsters so they would have less misinterpretations and could understand each other more clearly. When they first used it, it cleared many ways for both parties as they began to make decisions together.

After the fight, Monarch and Godzilla decided to team up and form a coalition in order to maintain the balance of the world and to eliminate any threat by any means necessary. Due to this partnership, the number of threats have decreased to the point that they became non existent. After a while, peace has been achieved where there is no longer war in any part of the world, allowing the economy to focus on humanitarian aid to impoverished countries in desperate need of utilities such as medicine and food.

Not long after, Mothra returned from her "death" at the hands of King Ghidorah, much to the joy of Godzilla. As king and queen, they decided to maintain the world they have fought so hard for together. Other kaiju such as Rodan and King Kong have decided to use their homes as surveillance towers in order to look out for anything that might pose a danger to man, monster, or both.

In the ocean where King Ghidorah and Godzilla fought in, the oxygen destroyer had an unintentional effect on the microbial life living in the water: they began to grow sentience and little by little, they began to merge. Meanwhile, the severed head of Ghidorah that Alan Jonah bought is about to become reanimated so he can make another Monster Zero from scratch.

6 MONTHS LATER

Everything was in order as there was no conflict to be seen or to solve. On Bikini Atoll, Godzilla and Mothra were relaxing on the sandy beach as they no longer had to fight. Both of them were staring at the sun during dawn, admiring the beauty of it as it gradually grew bigger.

"It's so beautiful, isn't it?" Mothra asked.

"It sure is, but it's not as beautiful as you, Mothra." Godzilla replied.

"Ah Godzilla, that's so sweet of you. To be honest, it has become so peaceful for the past 6 months. I think the partnership you made with Monarch has really paid off."

"Well, I can't take all of the credit. None of this would have been possible without your guidance. We can finally have some free time after all that hard work we did. How about we take a stroll later? I heard that Alaska has some pretty lights at night time."

"That sounds lovely, my king. We should also see yellowstone later. It has so many natural wonders we should see."

"Sure we will, my queen, but for now, we should finish looking at this sunset together."

"As you wish."

Mothra then began to hug Godzilla from his backside. The both of them then got back to watching the sunset as both of them smiled at the endless horizon.
