In the evening, the creature that was attacking Tokyo returns to the city, now in a much larger form. Not wanting another attack taking place, the JSDF sent troops and HMG positions to the area in order to stop its murderous rampage. Despite their best efforts, the rounds and heavy fire had no effect on the creature as it simply was immune to them. In ignorance, the creature began to move into the inner parts of the city, destroying everything in its path.

Not only was the creature rampaging through the city, the weapons also had an unintended effect: they killed some civilians and have caused collateral damage. Deeming the last stand a failure, the prime minister ordered all military personnel to retreat, allowing the creature to devour its prey.

The team eventually arrived at Monarch headquarters as a massive sliding door slowly opened for them to enter the massive facility. Once inside, the trio was amazed with all the technological advances the organization had made since its founding. Despite being caught in the marvels of the facility, that did not stop them from focusing on the objective.

The team was now in front of two massive screens: one showing footage of the quadruped creature and the other one showing news footage of the creature in Tokyo. Everyone was studying these two pieces of footage until the director broke the silence.

"The one on the first screen is called The Large Scale Aggressor or the LSA. We don't know exactly where it came from, but we believe that it might have interdimensional origins."

"What a nice sounding name." Rodan said with some sarcasm.

As in what do you mean by interdimensional origins? Godzilla asked.

"The specimens that we've studied have biochemical and anatomical properties that we have never seen before in this world. Their blood even has elements that are not even on the periodic table."

"So how many times do you see this creature outside of its natural habitat?" Mothra asked.

"This is the third time we have encountered this creature before. The last time we studied it was almost 13 years ago in May of 2008, where one of its kind destroyed Manhattan without difficulty."

"Wait, that thing destroyed Manhattan? I thought the city was destroyed by an earthquake." Godzilla said.

"The american military made it up in order to cover up the incident so people wouldn't find out the truth. Since then we have been studying its biology and you're not going to believe this, but this one is just an infantile creature."

The trio looked at the screen with shock and were dumbstruck that a creature that was almost the same size as godzilla was just a toddler in monster terms.

"As in, it's a baby?" Mothra asked with some shock in her tone. "I could only imagine what the parents look like."

"Precisely. From what we can understand, the adults can be between 3 to 4 times the size of a 300 foot tall kaiju. We don't know exactly about its reproductive cycle or how they get so big, so we assume that the physics from its dimension are different from ours, hence the morphology of this creature."

"Interesting. How come it's on a rampage?" Godzilla asked.

"A team of scientists tried to study the creature, but they injured it. We don't know if it was intentional or not, but right now, it's scared and confused as it doesn't know how to handle its predicament."

"Those damn scientists. They never know when to stop." Rodan said under his breath.

"What about the creature that attacked Tokyo in the morning?" Mothra asked.

"This creature hasn't been identified yet as we've never encountered it before. According to the Prime Minister of Japan, it mutates at a somewhat rapid pace and it seems to rely heavily on nuclear fission to survive. What's weird about this one is that according to the JSDF, it has whale and human DNA, along with genetic material from an unknown species. After a thorough analysis of the information we've received from them, we have concluded that this is some type of mutant rather than an actual kaiju. In simple words, it's basically a teratoma with legs and arms."

"So what's the name of this one?" Mothra asked.

"Well, the locals call it "Shin Godzilla" due to it looking similar to the demented version of a god. It also has some similar features to Godzilla such as a long tail, dorsal fins, and aquatic origins."

"It seems that it wants to copy my image." Godzilla joked as he looked at the screen in disbelief.

"I guess you're right on that one." Rodan replied.

"Anyway, we're going to have to split up if we want to kill two birds with one stone." The director said. "Also, I forgot to tell you that you have someone who wants to volunteer."

"Oh yeah? Like who would want to help us?" Godzilla asked.

As they were talking, something large came out of the shadows. It was covered in brown fur and scars as its huge sharp teeth protruded from its mouth. At first, the trio looked at it with disbelief, but then Godzilla changed his expression from shock to disappointment. He then looked at the director, demanding to know why he was in the headquarters.

"Are you kidding me? He wants to volunteer? After all the conflicts I've had with him?"

"I know this might not be the best time to forgive each other, but you're going to need all the help you can get." The director said. "Also, he has some knowledge on the creature in Tokyo that you might find useful."

Godzilla then looked at the volunteer, trying to hide his true emotions from him. The volunteer looked somewhat bewildered at Godzilla's reaction as he thought that would get angry with him. Not wanting to cause tension, he decided to speak out.

"Listen, I know we might have some issues with each other, but if you're going to defeat these things, I'm the best you got. Besides, you can't underestimate your enemies this time. The last time you did that, you almost died." King Kong said.

At first, Godzilla was about to tell King Kong that he did not need his help until Mothra intervened.

"Godzilla, remember what I told you: You're not alone and you shouldn't fight it yourself. Let him help you." Mothra said.

After thinking about King Kong's offer for a while, Godzilla relented and decided to have him on the team.

"Fine, but if you screw up again, you're toast."

"You won't regret it!"

After confirming his decision, Godzilla then looked at Rodan and Mothra.

"Me and Kong will deal with the mutant while you and Rodan take care of the baby kaiju in the U.S."

"Sure thing. Let's go Mothra. We don't want to keep them waiting." Rodan said.

"Alright. Let's go."

Before Godzilla and King Kong leave, The King of The Monsters felt something holding his shoulder. He turned around only to see that it was Mothra, who was sad to see him go.

"Godzilla, promise me you'll be okay."

"Don't worry, Mothra. I'll be okay. I don't think this will take long. I'll be back before the day even ends."

"Are you sure?"

"I'm definitely sure. Now let's solve this before it gets out of hand."

Mothra and Godzilla hugged each other before the both of them left in order to complete their separate missions.

The two teams left the headquarters immediately as one went to the U.S while the other one went to Tokyo. The director at Monarch looked at the departing teams with hope as the massive doors began to close behind them.
