In Nevada, The LSA managed to arrive without difficulty. Upon seeing its massive form, the civilians began to run away in fear as it started to tear down buildings with its thin, long limbs. At the same time, parasites began to fall into the crowds, biting and killing people due to their toxic saliva. It was roaring with rage as it tried to avoid the military vehicles shooting at it.
In Tokyo, the creature returned yet again during midnight, but this time, it mutated even further as it was no longer orange, but a burnt charcoal color with red lesions throughout its body. It also had a tip on its tail made out of deformed bones of whatever was left of the biomass as it seems to have a mind of its own, eager to help out the beast in any situation they might encounter. Along its mouth were numerous deformed teeth that made it look grotesque and intimidating at the same time. It started to march towards downtown Tokyo, looking at the numerous civilians running away from it. It ignored them as they posed no threat to it. Despite not targeting the civilians, it would cause even more destruction than before as its new form guaranteed that it would decimate anything that would stand in its way.
Meanwhile, Godzilla and King Kong were almost close to Japan as they swam as fast as they could through the pacific ocean. The duo were having a race to see who would get to Tokyo first, but they were evenly matched.
"Hey Kong, how come you have so much endurance? It's like you never run out of energy."
"Oh, I don't know. I need my strength to survive, to fight, or do anything that requires a lot of strength."
"I thought it was because you eat a lot of bananas."
"Hahaha. Very funny."
As they began to get closer, they noticed massive amounts of smoke rising to the air as numerous buildings were reduced to rubble. Another thing they saw was a massive black figure towering over the civilians, with a rotting grin looking towards the heavily populated part of the city.
"This can't be good. We gotta stop it before it can cause anymore harm." King Kong said.
"For once in my life, I agree with you. Let's just get this over with."
While the duo was preparing themselves to get to shore, Shin Godzilla was wreaking havoc as it began to fire its purple atomic beam at everything, slicing almost all of Tokyo in half. Numerous civilians were trying to escape the carnage, but it then changed its beam to a flamethrower, incinerating everyone into ash. After it finished, it began to see some obstacles that were standing in its way. Before it could activate its atomic beam to take them out, it felt something heavy causing vibrations in the ground below its feet. Assuming that it was just another building falling, it ignored the vibrations until it heard something roar behind its back. After the roar had ceased, it heard a voice trying to communicate with it.
"Hey shit face, why don't you pick on someone your own size?!" Godzilla said.
Shin Godzilla turned around slowly, showing its grotesque face that was full of jagged teeth and diseased gingiva. The duo looked at it with looks of disgust and terror as the both of them tried to stay their ground. Shin Godzilla was looking at its two foes with a black expression, standing there motionless, with the exception of its massive tail, which was swinging back and forth.
"Look, we can do this the easy way or the hard way. Your choice buddy." King Kong said.
At first, it did not respond for several seconds, until it roared at them and proceeded to activate its atomic beam. Seeing that it will not go down without a fight, the duo prepared themselves for the match.
"I guess we'll be doing this then." Godzilla said.
Not long after, Shin Godzilla fired its atomic beam towards King Kong since it knew that he was the weakest of his enemies. Before the beam to touch King Kong, he jumped out of the way and threw a piece of concrete at its head, causing it to roar in pain and forcing it to fall into a building, with the top part falling on top of it.
"Nice work there buddy," Godzilla said.
"Well, thank you. You know, it wasn't that hard…"
Before King Kong could finish his sentence, he was knocked down by Shin Godzilla's atomic beam, but it was not from its mouth, but from its tail as it acts as a separate entity to the mutant itself.
"KONG!"
It then knocked down Godzilla himself with its massive tail in order to get out of the rubble without being attacked. Eventually, Shin Godzilla recovered from the attack and moved towards the duo. It let out a huge roar as it opened its gaping and tumor-like mouth, where it would proceed to burn them alive with its flamethrower. Sensing intense heat from Shin Godzilla, Godzilla covered King Kong with his body so he would be protected from the blast. The malformed creature ignited its mouth and allowed the flames to cover them in fire. Eventually, Shin Godzilla's flamethrower engulfed a massive part of Tokyo, melting everything in its path without remorse or mercy.
In Nevada, The LSA was trying to run away from the military vehicles that were trying to kill it by using the buildings as cover, but it was no use as the military kept firing at them, destroying huge chunks of them in the process. Left in a hopeless situation, the creature kept moving in any direction it could go in. As it tried to escape, the lack of nourishment along with the lack of sleep were taking its toll on the poor creature as it got more sluggish and slower. The military kept closing in on it, shooting at its back and hands so it would collapse in exhaustion. After a few seconds of heavy firepower, the creature let out an immense roar of pain as it fell to the ground, grabbing a building that eventually capsized, creating massive amounts of dust that left the impact zone. Feeling that the mission was a success, the commander ordered his troops to corner The LSA so it could not escape the blast zone.
"We got it in our sights! Aim for the head! We can kill it quickly this way!"
The creature tried to get up, but it was too weak to get off the ground. It moaned in agony as it saw some weird looking tanks pointing their guns towards its head. The task force created a perimeter around the infant in order to get a 360 degree field of artillery to encircle it. The commander eventually got out of the turret of the tank and proceeded to give orders.
"Ready"
The cannons were about to fire at its skull.
"Aim"
The military personnel concentrated all their aim on its weak spot, hoping for a quick kill. The creature looked at them with fear as it realized what was going to happen.
"Fi…"
"STOP!"
The commander could not finish his final order as someone or something interrupted him from speaking. Almost slowly, all the soldiers turned around and looked at the sky, where they would see two shapes flying above them. It was Mothra and Rodan, who came to prevent the poor creature from getting killed. They did not hesitate to defend it as they landed in front of the soldiers, forming a wall that prevented them from getting a clear shot at it.
"What's the meaning of this?! Get out of the way!" The commander asked.
"What do you think you're doing to this poor creature?!" Mothra shouted. "Can't you see that he's tired and scared?! Where is your morality?!"
"Are you kidding me?! That thing decimated cities in California and Nevada, harmed thousands of innocent lives, allowed its spider things to kill people, and you want us to be merciful to it?! You must be out of your damn mind if you think we're going to let it live! All units, go around them and fire on contact!"
Before the soldiers could obey their commander, Rodan used his wings to send massive gusts of winds that blew the soldiers and vehicles away.
"Back it up or I'll do it again! We're not letting you harm this infant!" Rodan said.
"If you won't step aside, I'm afraid we will have to resort to deadly force on not only it, but also on you guys! This thing is too dangerous to be kept alive!"
"We're not moving until you allow us to take him to Monarch! Besides, he was provoked by unwanted human attention!" Mothra said.
Despite more military vehicles arriving to strengthen the offensive, the duo stood their ground and they refused to back down.
"I wonder how Godzilla and King Kong are doing right now." Mothra thought to herself.
Meanwhile in Japan, Shin Godzilla stopped firing as the flamethrower began to consume too much energy. After nearly a minute and a half of burning the duo, it got closer in order to see through the smoke and to confirm that its opponents were dead. What it saw was blue light that gradually grew brighter to the point that it began to go towards the deepest part of the smoke. The light eventually turned circular, where it would form a beam that hit Shin Godzilla hard in the face, causing it to fall backwards and to cry out in pain. Godzilla and King Kong got up from the rubble and saw that the creature was trying to get back up.
"Thanks for the save. I would've been toast if you weren't here." King Kong said.
"No problem. Just try to focus on the battle from now on."
The duo then focused their attention on the creature itself. Godzilla fired his atomic breath at the creature's spine while King Kong used a crane as a type of mace and tried to punch the beast in the face with his other fist. Shin Godzilla just laid there, roaring in anger as it was being defeated by the duo. Letting the rage inside it build up, Shin Godzilla prepared itself for another devastating attack. Its spine began to glow a bright purple as its eyes were moving at an alarmingly fast rate. Godzilla and King Kong noticed that it was about to attack and thus, left the area.
"Take cover!" Godzilla yelled.
It got up almost immediately and prepared to fire its weapon. The creature shot its atomic beam from its mouth and from its tail towards Godzilla, but fortunately for him, King Kong pushed him out of the way, causing the beams to hit another building instead. The duo hid behind a massive piece of concrete and metal from a former bunker while Shin Godzilla directed its weapons towards their hiding place, intensifying the beams so they would break it open.
"Thanks for helping me out, but how are we going to get out of this mess?" Godzilla asked.
"Have you noticed that it can't keep its ranged weapons operational for too long? It means that it can't keep it up for long."
"So what are you saying?"
"We wait for it to waste its energy and once it gets tired, we attack it head on."
"Sounds like a plan. I guess we'll have to wait until it runs out of juice."
Not long after, the beams have stopped. There was simply silence except the roaring of the flames around the area. Both Godzilla and King Kong believed that the creature was tired and was about to put their plan together.
"Are you ready, Kong?"
"Yeah I am. On the count of three, we attack it immediately. One, two, thr…"
Before King Kong could finish speaking, Shin Godzilla broke through and rammed the ape through a building as it roared in anger. King Kong tried to fight back by using the crane to slash at its head, but it only made it angrier. Covered in shards of glass and debris, King Kong did everything he could to escape, but Shin Godzilla had him in its grip as it began to bite his shoulder.
King Kong screamed in pain as he kept on punching the creature in the face so it would lose its grip on him. Godzilla soon intervened and was about to help King Kong out until the creature's tail wrapped around his neck and forced him to the ground as the entity on its tail began to charge up its atomic beam. Godzilla struggled intensely as he tried to escape, but just like an anaconda, the hold was too strong for him to break.
"Godzilla, I'm coming! Just hold on!" King Kong yelled as he was almost free from the creature.
"Try to target the back! That's its primary weak spot! Don't worry about me! I can handle a little heat from this piece of shit over here!"
Realizing that they were going to attack it from the back, Shin Godzilla rammed into King Kong even more in order to prevent another attack on the weak spot. The tail began to fire at Godzilla at his backside, hoping to disable his atomic breath. Godzilla roared in agony as he saw King Kong getting pummeled by the beast itself. He tried to use his atomic breath, but the tail constricted him even more, preventing him from using it. Godzilla was also beginning to feel immense pressure in his ribcage as it began to get tighter to the point that he couldn't use his limbs.
"KONG, NO!" Godzilla yelled as the beast was finishing the ape off.
King Kong looked at Godzilla with concern as he was pushing away the jaws of the creature. Shin Godzilla was beginning to fire up its atomic beams as the tail diverted its attention towards King Kong. King Kong closed his eyes, accepting his fate while Godzilla looked at them in anger and fear as he couldn't do anything to stop the massacre from happening. Before Shin Godzilla can fire, a barrage of missiles exploded on his back, causing the back to release massive amounts of blood. The creature roared in anger and pain as it tried to destroy the fighter planes, but in the process, it loosened its grip on Godzilla and King Kong. Taking advantage of the commotion, the ape immediately pushed Shin Godzilla with all of his might, slashing at its throat and chest with a shard of glass while Godzilla ripped off the tip of its tail with brute force and used his atomic breath to cause even more damage to its back. The attacks began to overwhelm Shin Godzilla as it tried to escape, but to no avail as it was getting heavily damaged. Not long after, tanks and bombers joined the fight as the heavy payload caused the creature to get damaged in the process.
"It's working! Keep the pressure on it!" Godzilla yelled to everyone.
After one minute of taking abuse from the duo and the JSDF, Shin Godzilla was barely standing as it was too injured to fight back. The jaw was broken as it dangled below its head due to the flesh holding it in place while the tail was losing multiple quantities of blood. The back was so heavily damaged that the dorsal plates in the impact zone were broken off and all that's left was a crater that was badly burned to the point that the spine was visible. The creature looked at the duo in an odious manner as its eyes were focused on them. Godzilla and King Kong stood approximately 15 feet away as the JSDF sent tanks and vehicles to surround the beast, with their weapons aimed at it.
"This is your last chance, buddy!" King Kong yelled. "Surrender now or we will have to use deadly force!"
The creature stood still for a moment, trying to understand the situation. It refused to surrender but instead, it let out a roar of defiance as it began to repair itself. To Godzilla's and King Kong's horror, Shin Godzilla regenerated its back, corrected the position of its jaw, and the tip of its tail grew at an alarming rate. All the cuts and injuries that the duo inflicted on it began to disappear. To add insult to injury, the tip of the tail that Godzilla ripped off and the new tip have awoken numerous small humanoid-like creatures. One by one, they were overwhelming the task force as they started to slay the soldiers of the JSDF and damage military equipment with their speed and precision.
"You gotta be kidding me!" King Kong said.
Not long after, Shin Godzilla was entering "God Mode" as his eyes were turning black.
"It's going to attack again! Hit it with everything you got!" Godzilla said.
Despite the overwhelming firepower, it did not even faze the creature as its dorsal plates started to turn purple while the chin split into a web of tissue. The Bombers tried to destroy the back again, but to everyone's horror, numerous atomic beams escaped the dorsal plates, annihilating all the air support while the tail and head used their own beam to take out the jets. At this point, Shin Godzilla was like a mobile fortress as it was invulnerable at this moment.
"What?! It can shoot lasers from its back?!" King Kong said with shock in his voice.
The creature's rampage was causing the civilians to flee from fear, but the humanoids were slaughtering them as they ran towards the crowds for a meal.
"We gotta do something before it causes any more trouble!" Godzilla said.
"Are you kidding me?! We can't even go near it without getting shot! Our best bet is to wait for it to waste its energy!"
"I wish Mothra and Rodan were here to help us!"
