In Nevada, tensions begin to rise as both factions refuse to back down. Little by little, more tanks arrived to fortify the military while Mothra and Rodan stayed, protecting the creature from further harm.

"This is your last chance! Surrender the creature to us or get destroyed!" The commander yelled.

"For the last time, we are not moving until you let us nurse it back to health!" Mothra said. "Go ahead and kill us, but we won't let you harm it!"

"Fine! Have it your way! Aim the guns at all three of them!"

The tanks and soldiers pointed their guns at the three. Despite being surrounded with the threat of death, Mothra and Rodan stood their ground.

"Like she said, go ahead and kill us!" Rodan said. "But if you do it, you'll have to live with the blood of the innocent on your hands for the rest of your lives!"

After hearing Rodan, some soldiers began to doubt their role in the conflict as they lowered their weapons. The commander noticed and he was starting to get irritated.

"What are you doing?! Aim your weapons at them!"

"You know what?! Screw this! I'm not going to get involved in this!" A soldier said as she dropped her rifle to the ground.

Little by little, more soldiers lowered their weapons as they refused to fire. The commander was bewildered by this action as he grew angier the more they disobeyed him while the duo looked at the soldiers in disbelief.

"I order you to aim at them and fire on my command!" He said with rage in his voice.

"If you wanna kill it, then do it yourself! We're not going to obey you this time!" Another soldier said.

"Then expect a reprimand for this! All tanks, Aim and fire!"

The tanks targeted the three while the gunners began to load explosive rounds in their auto-loaders. Before the tanks could shoot at the three however, they were disabled by an EMP device. The tanks stopped working while all communications were disabled. Not long after, almost everyone heard the hum of a vehicle behind them. Confused, the commander looked behind him and saw a massive shuttle landing behind the task force. It was Monarch as they were aware of the situation and they wanted to end the feud in a peaceful manner.

"You are in clear violation of the Human-Monster protection act!" One spokesperson said as she exited the shuttle. "This situation is now our responsibility! Remove your forces at once or get relieved of duty!"

Nearly all the soldiers cooperated as they began to leave the area at once, much to the commander's ire.

"You're making a huge mistake, all of you! This thing is a menace! I won't leave until I have…"

Before the commander could finish his sentence, a trio of parasites from the LSA attacked him and began to rip him apart. The commander tried to shoot at them, but to no avail as they were immune to bullets. They gruesomely ate his flesh as they squealed with delight while the commander was screaming in agony and fear. After biting down on his head, the trio of parasites turned their attention to the rest of the task force. They tried to attack the nearest soldier, but Mothra used her silk to incapacitate them, where they would screech as they tried to chew off the biological substance. Not long after, a swarm of parasites arrived and started to attack the task force and Monarch officials. Nearly everyone was fighting for their lives as many soldiers shot at them, but they kept on coming in swarms, decimating whatever remained of the task force.

Rodan used his wings to blow the parasites away as they were also trying to attack him and Mothra, but they would not relent as they scurried faster than before. The spokesperson kept them at bay with a powerful plasma rifle. Seeing that there is no way to stop the attack, she turned around and told the duo what to do.

"Look, we don't have much time!" The spokesperson said. "We got to get the infant out of here at once!"

"But what about these creatures? We can help you out!" Mothra said.

"Don't worry about them! We'll take care of them! Take the infant back to Monarch Headquarters before it succumbs from malnutrition!"

"Roger that!" Rodan said. "Mothra, help me pick him up!"

The duo began to help the LSA get up as Rodan tried to take one arm while Mothra took the other one in order to give it some support.

"Come on, little guy. You can do it!" Rodan said

The creature tried to muster all of its strength to get up, but it howled in agony as it dropped back down, finally sleeping for the first time in almost a day.

"This isn't good! We can't lift him by ourselves! This is hopeless!"" Rodan said.

"Have no fear, Rodan." Mothra said. "I see a few carriers with steel cables coming this way."

Eventually, the carriers hovered above the trio as numerous personnel descended from the cables, where they would use harnesses in order to secure the creature in place. After all of that was done, the carriers began to take off.

"Well, what are you waiting for, Rodan? We have a baby to take care of!" Mothra said.

Rodan simply looked at her with some cringe on his face, but he chuckled slightly. They flew up towards the sky as they grabbed the creature's back in order to help out the carriers. With the problem solved, they left immediately to Monarch headquarters.

In Japan, Godzilla and King Kong were having a hard time to keep up with the creature as not only they had to dodge its ranged attacks, they also had to make sure that the humanoids were not attacking them.

"This thing is pissed off! How is it still standing?!" King Kong yelled.

"What are we going to do?! It's too powerful for us to do anything!"

As Godzilla and King Kong tried to kill off the humanoids, the remaining forces of the JSDF tried to finish off the creature for good. At first, the beast was losing energy as the multiple rounds from weapons were beginning to affect it. Taking advantage of its weakness, numerous tanks and fighter jets continued their assault, forcing the creature against the remains of a building. As they were about to corner it and damage it even furthur, Shin Godzilla began to sense a close source of radiation. It immediately tore the nuclear power plant to shreds, where it would start to absorb all the raw energy from the unstable nucleus. After feeding, it eventually got into a superpowered state as now the atomic beams were becoming more powerful than they were before. The creature used them in order to take down the remaining forces, obliterating them into dust. Soon, the JSDF were destroyed as not one soldier or vehicle survived the onslaught.

After taking care of the problem, Shin Godzilla focused its attention towards the duo as it prepared itself for another attack. Upon seeing the beast glow an intense purple, Godzilla pushed King Kong aside and fell down in order to avoid the blast. The creature then shot its atomic beam towards another section through Tokyo, destroying it in the process as a lot of smoke rose from the ashes. Godzilla and King Kong were thinking of a plan as they had tried all they could think of to no avail as none of the options they thought of worked.

"Tell me you have a plan!" King Kong said.

"Hold on! I'm thinking! It's just that we threw everything at it and we didn't even leave a scratch on the bastard!" Godzilla replied.

"Well, you better think fast because it's trying to leave Tokyo!"

Godzilla turned around and saw that Shin Godzilla was about to go to another city, where he would try to remain focused. After a few seconds of thinking, Godzilla thought of something that might bring down the menace permanently.

"Kong, remember what you told me about its energy wastage problem?"

"Yeah. Why do you ask?"

"I know this might sound risky, but I think we could slow its blood flow and metabolism for good."

"Why do you think that would stop it?"

"Not only it wastes energy, but it produces a lot of heat. The blood and the back act like radiators: They are responsible for cooling it down. If we can exploit those weaknesses at once by inhibiting its coolant system..."

"Then the creature would have to force itself to hibernate for long periods of time. Good thinking, Godzilla!"

"Now we just need some type of coagulant. Do you think we could find some in this city?

"I guess, assuming that the beast didn't destroy Tokyo completely."

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!"

The duo snuck out of the danger zone as they went to find some coagulant in the desolate wasteland that was formerly Tokyo. Sensing that the duo would not relent, Shin Godzilla started to follow them, taking care not to get noticed by them. At Monarch Headquarters, the large heavy doors slowly opened as the task force was landing with caution in order not to hurt the creature. After safely landing, they immediately placed the LSA on a massive hospital bed so they could take the poor infant to the care unit. Feeling the coolness of the bed, the creature itself was trying to get up as it was scared of its new surroundings and it began to struggle against the surface of the bed. It started to wail as it frantically tried to escape the restraints so it could leave the facility and go back to the ocean. Monarch officials tried to calm it down, but to no avail as it roared in fear and sorrow. Feeling sorry for the infant, Mothra walked towards it, where she would comfort it through its ordeal.

"It's okay. You're safe now. You don't have to worry about anything anymore. I'll make sure that they won't hurt you."

The creature looked at her with calmness as it began to lose its anxiety, gradually sinking into the bed. It let out soft roars as it was now relaxed and not that scared anymore. Almost immediately, the officials began to take it towards the care unit as Mothra and Rodan followed them through the massive hanger. They managed to make it to the care unit as the door to it opened with a hissing sound. The creature was placed inside of it as Mothra and Rodan entered the cubicle as well. The caretakers took out food and water so it could receive some nutrition. Without hesitation, the creature drank the water at an alarming rate as it was dying of thirst. Looking at the infant with pity, Mothra and Rodan eventually sat by it, comforting it as the infant tried to satisfy its insatiable thirst.

"Poor little guy." Mothra said. "He was dying of hunger and thirst."

"I know. I can't believe that this world could be this harsh sometimes." Rodan said. "It's almost like they never give anything a chance these days."

"It's just so sad that they would be willing to harm an infant simply because it was confused and scared. How long do you think it would take for him to get properly nourished?"

"To be honest, I have no idea. Probably at least a week, give or take." Rodan said. "He seems pretty injured, especially on the back."

"Let's hope he can recover quickly. I don't want him to stay this way for long."

The duo looked at the creature with genuine concern as Mothra herself hugged it so it would feel safe.
