In Tokyo, Godzilla and King Kong were still finding some coagulant, but it was difficult given the fact that there is nothing but rubble and ash in the vast sea of concrete.

"Any luck on finding some, Kong?" Godzilla asked.

"No, not yet. Maybe we should…"

Before King Kong could finish speaking, he was suddenly struck in the back by an atomic beam. King Kong screamed in agony for a brief moment as he was knocked out by the sudden impact of the energy. He would lay there motionless, with Godzilla trying to wake him up.

"Kong, answer me! This isn't the time to take a nap! We can't give..."

Before he could resume, The King Of The Monsters heard a roar. Godzilla then turned around and saw that Shin Godzilla followed them, hoping to finish them off. The creature looked at Godzilla with a blank expression as it began to charge up its atomic beams. Before it could commence its attack, Godzilla used his atomic breath to take out a building, allowing it to fall on the creature's back.

"Prepare yourself for a beating of a lifetime, you ugly piece of shit! Godzilla yelled.

Godzilla then charged towards the creature. Before Shin Godzilla could react, it was suddenly tackled by Godzilla, where he would ram it through whatever pieces of rubble in order to wear it down. He then bit its neck and tore a huge chunk of flesh out of it. The creature roared in intense pain as it swatted Godzilla with its massive tail. Godzilla then fell into the rubble, producing large amounts of dust smoke in the process. Taking advantage of its fallen foe, Shin Godzilla began to fire at Godzilla with intense strength from its atomic beams. Godzilla himself roared in pain as the heat of the beams were too much for him to bear.

While the creature was trying to kill Godzilla, King Kong slowly began to regain consciousness. At first, he had tinnitus and blurry vision, but it began to subside as he saw something peculiar: several chrome canisters with the label "Industrial strength CIFCB". Realizing that he found the coagulant, King Kong took a canister and was about to tell Godzilla until he saw the creature causing agony in his partner. Out of options, he grabbed a piece of broken concrete and hurled it towards its head, where it began to stumble, trying to maintain its balance. Its eyes slowly focused their attention at King Kong.

"Come and get me!" King Kong roared.

The creature let out a deafening roar as the huge wound on its neck had already healed.

"That's right, you disgusting piece of crap! Go ahead and finish me off if you can!"

The creature tried to shoot at him with its beams, but King Kong dodged all of them as he ran as fast as he could, using the rubble to cover him. While Shin Godzilla was distracted, Godzilla slowly got up, trying to muster all his strength to defeat the beast once and for all. After almost dodging the creature's attacks for almost a minute, Shin Godzilla fired his beam a few feet in front of King Kong, causing the ape to be pushed hard into the rubble. As King Kong tried to get up, the beast stood right in front of him as it charged up its atomic beams in order to take out the ape, but before it could do that, Godzilla used his atomic breath to damage the creature's spin. Shin Godzilla let out a roar of intense pain as blood and fragments of its dorsal plates were flooding out. He continued with his assault, this time targeting its legs as Godzilla used his tail to trip the beast over. The creature fell to the ground, trying to get up, but Godzilla used his weight to pin it to the ground, head locking it so it couldn't bite King Kong.

"Kong, Hurry! I can't hold it for much longer!"

Without hesitation, King Kong got up as fast as he could, taking the canister with him. After several seconds of opening the canister, he was now standing in front of Shin Godzilla's head. Realizing that they are trying to destroy its internal nuclear power source, the beast closed its jaws so the ape could not administer the coagulant. Undeterred, he began to use his brute strength to open the jaws.

"I'll try to pry its jaws open! Just make sure that it can't attack us anymore!"

Godzilla simply nodded as he was also trying to prevent the tail from getting a clear shot. King Kong kept punching the creature in the face. Eventually, the beatings were becoming brutal to the point that Shin Godzilla opened its mouth to fire another beam as it could no longer withstand the force of the punches. King Kong used this to his advantage as he used his legs to place the canister within its mouth while he used his arms to hold its jaws in place

"Hurry up and place the coagulant in its mouth before I lose my grip on it!" Godzilla yelled.

King Kong did not reply as he was busy force feeding the coagulant in the creature's throat. After the beast consumed the substance, it managed to muster enough strength to get Godzilla off its back and to swat King Kong aside. It let out a roar of anger as it was going to annihilate them, charging its atomic beams to kill them. The duo got back up, preparing themselves for another fight.

Before Shin Godzilla could attack, the coagulant was beginning to take effect as little by little, the creature began to freeze as its nuclear powersource was vanquished and its blood could no longer regulate its body temperature. The creature roared as it tried to shoot at them before succumbing to the coagulant's effects, but it was in vain as its head froze into place, transforming the beast into a massive statue. Not long after, the humanoids that were slaughtering the civilians began to die and decompose as they have lost the connection to their master.

Having finished the mission, the duo let out roars of victory as they began to leave Tokyo so they could tell Monarch that their mission was finished. Before they left the country, King Kong still had one question he thought he would never ask.

"Hey Godzilla, what are we going to do with the statue?"

Godzilla turned around and saw the frozen beast standing in the middle of the destruction it had wrought. After considering some factors, Godzilla decided to take it with them.

"We'll probably have to take it back to Monarch so they can run some tests. Help me carry it. It's pretty heavy."

The duo lifted the frozen creature with all their strength as they now have a long journey ahead of them. Almost 8 hours later, they finally arrived at Monarch headquarters, where Mothra and Rodan were waiting for their return. When Mothra saw that her king came back unscathed, she immediately flew over to him, where she would hug him, with Godzilla returning the favor.

"Godzilla, I'm so glad you're alright! I thought something bad had happened to you!"

"Like I said, I'll be okay. How did it go with the baby?

"It was actually easier than we thought, despite the massive military resistance and some insects that were devouring people, but other than that, it was a piece of cake."

"You can say that again. Not only we had to fight this thing, we also had to fight off its little pests that grew from its tail. Isn't that right, Kong?"

"Let's just say that it was more difficult than we thought. Hey Rodan, we should… Uh Rodan?"

Rodan did not reply as he was too busy looking at the frozen creature, with his eyes fixated at its gruesome appearance. Not long after, Mothra turned around and saw something disturbing in its jaw: a grotesque and diseased mouth filled with rows of sharp, misaligned teeth. Godzilla sensed her fear and hugged her slightly tighter in order to get her mind off the beast.

"Don't worry, my queen. It's not waking up anytime soon."

"I hope so. That thing looks pretty intimidating if I say so myself."

"You can say that again." Rodan replies. "Just looking at it gives me goosebumps."

As the four kaiju were standing in front of the beast, looking at its grotesque body, the director himself walked towards them as he wanted to express his gratitude for their actions.

"Another mission well done, guys!" The director said. "Thanks to you, we have managed to resolve two problems at the same time. I think…"

Not long after, the director looked at Shin Godzilla. Upon seeing the beast in person for the first time, he was somewhat horrified by its malformed appearance as he tried not to think too much about it.

"Oh my. I knew it looked bad on screen, but up close…"

"Yeah, we get that a lot. What are you going to do with it now that it's here?" Godzilla asked.

"Well, I guess we'll have to do some tests on it in order to find out its origin because it's extremely strange that it would suddenly pop out of nowhere. We should have the results in a few more days."

"Sounds like a plan. What about the baby kaiju?" Godzilla asked.

"I think you should see for yourself."

The kaiju and the director walked towards the care unit, where they would enter it and see the infant trying to lick the walls of the care unit.

"What's his condition now?" King Kong asked.

"After analyzing its current condition, we have determined it has suffered some major injuries due to malnutrition and trauma, so we'll keep it in the care unit for at least a week and a half. Even then, it would need some help to eat and do basic necessities as it's too young to make decisions on its own."

The kaiju were looking at the infant with worry as they thought that it is not a good idea to leave it by itself in its former home once it is properly nourished. After careful thinking, Mothra came up with an idea.

"I see." Mothra said. "Godzilla, do you think it would be a good idea for the baby to live with us until he grows into an adult?"

The male kaiju and the director looked at her with bewilderment after they heard her question. Godzilla himself was dumbfounded as he looked at her with confusion, but his expression changed to one of pure happiness.

"Sure thing, Mothra. Why not? Besides, he needs some guidance."

Mothra immediately hugged Godzilla in order to thank him for letting it stay with them. Not long after, Rodan and King Kong joined in, making it a group hug. The director was simply standing there, admiring the friendship they have between each other.

A WEEK AND A HALF LATER

It has been a pretty long time since the incidents took place. Rodan was beginning to nest himself in his home on Mount Fuji. He planned to relax for a moment as he had a lot of hard work to do in the past.

"Now that's out of the way, I can simply kick back and enjoy the magma underneath my feet."

Before he was able to lie down, he saw a large tardigrade-like kaiju burrowing through the hills in search of food as it was potato season underneath the volcano. Unfortunately for Rodan, he could not relax as the vibrations were beginning to shake the land and his home, frustrating him severely.

"Damn it." Rodan Muttered to himself. "I told Vishnu many times not to burrow so close to my home."

Despite feeling upset about the disturbance in the peace, he decided to let it slide as Vishnu was a lot bigger than the king of fire himself and he did not want to cause a fight that would destroy the town by the volcano.

On Skull Island, King Kong was clearing out some debris as it was beginning to affect the plant growth there. Begrudgingly, he placed the trash on the shore of his land.

"Would it kill them to at least remove the trash?" King Kong said. "I mean this is ridiculous."

While King Kong was cleaning up, a group of skull crawlers were beginning to leave the island as they were desperate for food due to the lack of prey. The ape soon noticed them and with fear in his eyes, ran towards them so they could not escape to the subterranean tunnels.

"OH NO YOU DON'T!"

The skull crawlers then ran even faster in order to outrun King Kong's wrath.

On Bikini Atoll, Mothra and Godzilla were enjoying each other's company as they were looking at the numerous stars in the nighttime sky.

"Oh Godzilla, this might be one of the best moments of my life."

"I know, Mothra. Whenever I'm with you, my world just blooms with happiness and serenity."

"Aren't you quite the poet, my king. By the way, do you think the baby needs to eat?"

"I highly doubt it. He's trying to get his energy back by sleeping. He had a pretty intense workout today."

The two kaiju looked at the infant as it was simply sleeping near the water, oblivious of its surroundings. Mothra looked at it with pure happiness as she is glad that the infant is perfectly healthy while Godzilla simply gave it a smile. After looking at it, Godzilla wanted to tell his beloved queen something.

"Mothra, I was thinking…"

Mothra almost immediately turned around in order to her what her king had to say.

"What is it, Godzilla?"

"I was thinking that we could do that stroll I promised you weeks ago. We should live life to the fullest, you know."

Mothra turned around in order to see the infant again, but this time with concern.

"What about the baby? We can't leave him here by himself."

"Don't worry. We'll be back long before he wakes up."

"Are you sure? It's just that I don't want him to roam around and get lost."

"I'm sure. Besides, it only lasts a couple of hours I think."

"If you say so. We can finally get some change to the normal routine of governing the world."

"I know right, but even royalty have to enjoy life too. Let's go before the sky turns into dawn."

"If you insist."

The two kaiju left for whatever land they could find within the vast ocean. Meanwhile in Monarch Headquarters, the results on Shin Godzilla showed some rather interesting clues about its origins. The director entered the laboratory, where he would see multiple tools drilling into the creature's flesh.

"I see that we have some results. What do we have this time?"

"According to the histological analysis of the creature, it seems that it has an unusual origin: the tests showed numerous fragments of DNA from human origins, but were mixed with whale DNA, along with genetic material from an unidentified creature. We assume that the immense amount of radiation allowed the DNA to mix, giving life to this anomaly.

"I see. Any results pertaining to this MUTO?"

"Nothing much, other than its genome and genetic sequence, but the weirdest thing we've found was a vast quantity of micro oxygen inside the cells."

The director was looking at the scientist with shock as he was trying to figure out where the chemical compound came from.

"That's impossible. There's no natural source of micro oxygen on earth, unless…"

After thinking about its possible origin, he realized that only one weapon used it for its destructive potential. Immediately, his eyes began to widen in realization as he ran towards the nearest communication device.

"I need all available hazmat units to go to Isla de Mara and clean up whatever pollutant or toxic substance is in the water immediately!"

In the part of the ocean where the oxygen destroyer was used during the fight between Godzilla and King Ghidorah, the microorganisms that were mutating were merging into insect-like creatures as a swarm of them burst out of the water, looking for whatever nourishment they could find. It did not take long for them to find the nearest island as they were beginning to cover it in a dense cloud that blocked the sun. The people that were living on the island were being eaten alive as the insects burrowed into their flesh, eating away the tissue underneath the skin. Intense screams of agony could be heard flooding the island, but unfortunately, it fell on deaf ears as the insects ate them quickly, leaving nothing behind.
