The surviving Hardys of the east coast moved to different locations, most obviously Asian ones where they became missionaries.
Jools and Mack Hardy birthed Samuel in 1856, and after the son's marriage to Tileke (nee Quartermaine), she and him had an only son named Frederick Hardy in August 1882.
Jacob Hardy married Erica Jones and later birthed Ty Hardy in 1852. Ty then married enterprising stalemate Thelma Yeung and birthed Lyle Hardy in China on November 1884. Lyle in turn birthed Steve Hardy in 1917.
Oswald married Patricia Wiggum and birthed twins Mitchell and Melvina in 1855, and much later Linda Bloomsbury in 1870. Mitchell married Jersey Thiel and had daughters named Monica 'Monday' Cortlandt (born 1885) and Jessamine Newman (born 1887).
