The Pigeon hole company had its origins in the real life Massachusetts bay company. Founded in 1813, it polluted Llanview, Pine Valley and Pigeon Hole for decades until a pollution act destroyed it forever in November 1970.
Its most notable employees were Hermina Chandler, Johnny Angel O'Donnell Quimby, and Thomas Lord.
