Lexie returned to work with a smile on her face after two days off. Drew had called as promised. Every morning to say good morning and every night to say goodnight. Every call had ended with them talking for an hour about everything and nothing. The talk just flowed naturally between them.

She stepped out of the car after having car pooled with Asuka and Kairi. The two Japanese women were always a lot of fun to travel with even if half the conversation ended up in words she didn't understand.

She made her way into the arena. She put her bag in the locker room and headed for catering. She was dying for some coffee and scrambled eggs. She sat down with her breakfast. She had just finished the last bite when Andrade walked in. He walked straight over and sat down next to her.

"Where's Charlotte?" She asked.
"Her and Becky went out for coffee," he answered.

He moved the chair closer. She felt uncomfortable. He was too close for her liking.

"I miss you," he said.
"That's your problem," she said.
"Come on, we were so good together," he said.
"We were at one point but that was a long time to go. You left me to bleed but you never could allow that wound to heal. Now you're pissed that it still happened despite your great effort to try and stop it," she said.
"We can be good again," he said.

He placed a hand on her thigh. She grabbed it and pressed her nails down as hard as she could. He whimpered in pain and tried to pull his hand away but she didn't let go. She kept pressing her nails down while leaning in.

"Touch me again and I'll break your hand," she warned.

She let go and allowed him to tend to all the small cuts in his hands while she walked out of catering. There was only one person she wanted to see right in that moment. She kept walking until she spotted him walk outside. She started jogging towards the entrance to catch up with him. He stood leaning against the wall while eating an apple and enjoying the sunshine.

"Drew!" She said loudly.
"What did I do?" He joked.
"I don't wanna do this anymore," she said.

He swallowed the piece of apple in his mouth and threw the rest of the apple into a nearby bush. He had lost his appetite. She had just said she didn't want to do this anymore. This could only mean them. He tried so keep his face neutral.

"Yeah, I get it. It's okay. We hardly started anything anyway," he said.
"No, Drew, you don't understand," she said.

She stepped up in front of him and took both his hands.

"I don't wanna play pretend to try and get back at Andrade. He doesn't deserve my attention at all. I'm done bleeding and crying for the man. I was done a long time ago but I needed you to make me see how happy I have become since he left me," she said. "And how happy I can be with another man."

She took a deep breath. This was hard enough already and he wasn't saying anything. He was letting her speak.

"So if all this was just for some fun and free fucks, tell me now. I won't get mad. I did enjoy what we did last week but I don't wanna use you as a rebound because I never saw you as one. I wanna start getting out there again. I wanna date someone for real. I want a boyfriend again. And if that's not something you're willing to give, we shouldn't waste each other's time no matter how amazing the sex is," she smirked. "And it's pretty fucking amazing."

He pulled her up against his body and wrapped his arms around her.

"Do you wanna go on a date with me, Lexie?" He asked.
"I'd love to," she answered.
"I'll arrange something tonight after the show. I can't promise to pull out the big guns with this short notice and while being on the road but I will feed you," he said.

She chuckled at him. She didn't need anything spectacular. She just wanted to enjoy some alone time with him.

"Wanna car pool with me? I drive alone," he said.
"Very much," she said.
"And share hotel rooms?" He asked.
"I'll kick down your door if you don't let me in," she said.
"Now who's the psycho stalker?" He smirked. "Do you wanna kiss me out here in the open? You're already up against me so no one can mistake that image."
"Come here," she said.

He leaned down and kissed her. His hands roamed through that chartreuse green hair. He loved that crazy color on her. He broke the kiss and looked around.

"I don't think anyone actually saw us," he chuckled.
"One day they will," she said.
"I don't care," he said. "It's you and me now, psycho stalker."
"I thought you were the psycho stalker," she laughed.
"We both can be," he laughed too.
