Dean Winchester, soon to be Sir Dean Winchester, was just coming back from the duel practice when he heard the big news.

They said that King Michael wishes to form an alliance with the king of Camelot Uther Penderagon. Apparently the other realm was disapproving of the practice of magic, although their own realm "Coelum" had nothing against magic itself they highly disapproved of practing dark magic.

Although Dean's father Sir John Winchester always used to say that you kill first then ask questions basically he believed that no magical creature or anyone who practices magic can be trusted. So this is what Dean believes too because his father is never wrong.

But Sammy disagrees, he thinks that you should give a chance to anyone, but then he is not a knight and he is never going to be a knight either, the lad likes to drown himself in books, he may one day be an advisor for diplomatic causes, an ambassador of the realm, Dean is very proud, thus is why he lets him have these opinions however wrong they may seem.

An alliance with Camelot is something that has been discussed over many years but never got anywhere, so this why Dean is very surprised to hear about it.

They want to send one of the princes with escorts and some diplomats to Camelot for further discussions.

Dean walks faster, he really wants to know what his father would think of this, would he approve or disapprove?

King Michael became king after his father retirement when he came of age, one thing that Dean knows about the king is that when he sets his mind into doing something that thing gets done, he is very persistent, but who can blame him? Specially after what happened to prince Lucifer, he is exiled for now, not long before the late king announced his retirement. Dean never knew him this all happened when he was younger than attending official court balls or events. But the story of the rebellious prince is one of the most famous stories all around the realm. And the way the two princes dueled and loss of Lucifer and then his exile.

King Michael is the best warrior of the realm too, so no wonder that Dean sets him as a role model for himself too.

But between the princes he is closest to the prince Castiel. They are the same age so he was placed as a playmate and company for the young prince and they grow upped as the bests of friends.

Castiel is a very good fighter, already promised to be the commander of the lesser armies when he comes of age.one thing about Castiel, he Never disobey, no matter what he always follow the rules, would do as he is told.

One of the reasons that Dean was so eager to go home and find out more about this alliance is because Cas didn't show up for practice today, and Cas never misses a lesson if he is not ordered to. So Dean guess that this alliance may have something to do with Cas which means it will have to do with Dean too. Because Dean always accompanies Cas in his trips. After all these years of friendship it only became natural to everyone to always see Cas accompanied by Dean that it wasn't even a question if Dean should go to the trips that has nothing to do with him but only the prince. So if Cas is going then Dean needs to get ready for the trip too.
