Skylanders belongs to Activision. Blaze, Flare, Viola, Azula, and Astrid belong to robotman25. I only own Rachel and Crystal.
A Day Of Good Luck
Rachel danced around with Magna Charge as Irish music played on the radio while Crystal, who had recently been working on her plant powers, spread out her hands to make some three-leaf and four-leaf clovers grow, giving the Academy a festive look along with the St. Patrick's Day decorations.
As Crystal continued, Flare came into the room with her three sisters behind her. Azula cooed curiously as she crawled closer to Crystal, who smiled at her. "Hey," she said to her nieces.
"Whatcha doing, Auntie Crystal?" Flare asked.
"I'm making three-leaf and four-leaf clovers," she said.
"Why?" Viola asked.
Rachel laughed as Magna Charge dipped her and she tilted her head back at hearing the young girl's question. "It's St. Patrick's Day, sweetie," she said.
"What's that?" Astrid asked curiously.
"It's a holiday of fun," Magna Charge said. "And a day where everyone wears something green and there's fun music to dance to and good food to eat."
Flare looked curious. "Anyone can celebrate it?" She asked.
"That's right," Rachel said. "It's a day of good luck."
Viola giggled. "Let's get Mommy and Dada," she said.
Giggling, the older girls headed out while Azula reached up to Rachel, who picked her up with a smile. "Let's go see how everything else is going," she said.
Flare, Viola, and Astrid found their parents in the library and raced in. "Mommy! Daddy! Guess what?" The oldest girl asked excitedly.
Blaze smiled. "What, my little spark?" He asked his eldest daughter.
"It's St. Patrick's Day!" She said, her excitement palable.
"Auntie Crystal is making clovers!" Viola said happily.
"Uncle Magna Charge said it's a holiday of fun," Astrid said.
"That it is," Roller Brawl said with a smile. "Why don't we go see what everyone's doing?"
They found the Main Hall decorated with green shamrocks, gold coins, and green top hats. There was even some green garland handing around and Astrid giggled as she pointed to Rachel and Magna Charge, who were dancing an Irish jig and the Tech Portal Master had green garland wrapped around her arms like a boa. Flare and Viola giggled while Roller Brawl grinned and grabbed Blaze's hand. "Come on, my handsome ninja," she said, pulling him to where their friends were dancing and Rachel grinned, moving to give them some room.
"Join in!" She said before falling into Magna Charge's arms and he caught her before spinning away with her in his arms. Flare giggled and tried to mimic the same moves her aunt did and Viola and Astrid did the same while Azula sat nearby, clapping and giggling while kicking her legs happily.
Tuff Luck came up to the little one and chuckled, picking her up. "Looks like you're having fun," she said before sticking a foam shamrock to the little one's onesie. "There, now you're ready to party."
"Auntie Tuff Luck! Look what we can do!" Flare said excitedly as she and her sisters began dancing, trying to mimic the Irish jig. The cat smiled at them.
"Good job!" She said. "You girls are quick learners."
Just then, green and gold confetti shot into the air, falling all around them and adding to the jovial mood. One mabu was handing out green fruit punch, which was declared to be delicious, and another few mabu were setting up games like tic-tac-shamrock, shamrock bean bag toss, and fishing for shamrocks.
Flare giggled. "Auntie Rachel and Uncle Magna Charge were right, this is fun!" She said.
"Aye, it is," Tuff Luck said. "One of my favorite days because it's a day of good luck and good fortune."
"It's also a day to consider how lucky you are," Rachel said, coming up to them. "And a day to be thankful for such good luck."
Viola noticed the games were ready. "Can we play some games?" She asked.
Blaze, who came up with Roller in his arms, smiled. "Okay," he said, to which the girls cheered and ran over to the games.
Rachel smiled before looking at Roller Brawl and leaning closer, whispering something in her ear. Grinning, the skater nodded and the two headed off, making Blaze curious. "I wonder where they're going?" He asked.
"Oh, just to go grab a few things," Magna Charge said, knowing exactly what the two were up to.
In one of the guest rooms, Rachel grinned and pulled out a dress made from silk that was a light green and even had some sheer fabric wrapped around it to make it even prettier. "I found this in my travels and I thought of you," she said to the Undead skater. "I think it's your size too."
"Oh, I've got to try it on," Roller said, going behind the changing curtain and putting on the dress. She gasped as she saw herself in the mirror. "It's perfect!"
She stepped out and Rachel grinned. "You're going to really knock Blaze's socks off," she said with a giggle.
Roller Brawl giggled. "Can you go distract him and I'll surprise him?" She asked.
Nodding, the Tech Portal Master headed out, finding Blaze dancing with all four of his daughters. He was holding Azula in one arm while Flare, Viola, and Astrid held onto his free hand and they danced merrily after the three girls had won green necklaces as prizes at the shamrock bean bag toss. Grinning, she pulled out her phone and took a picture, saving it to give to her friends later. Blaze noticed and smiled. "Did you get a good one?" He asked.
She nodded and showed him and he nodded as the picture was a good one. "I'll get it printed for you," the blonde-haired girl promised before grinning at seeing Roller Brawl behind the Fire/Undead/Water Portal Master. "By the way, there's a surprise behind you."
Curious, he turned and his eyes widened at seeing Roller Brawl in the beautiful green dress. "Wow," he said.
Flare gasped. "Mommy, you look so pretty!" She said.
"Like an angel," Astrid said.
"Angel," Viola echoed in agreement.
"I agree with the girls," Blaze said with a smile before handing Azula to Rachel, who accepted the little one with a smile and the ninja turned back to his wife. "Shall we dance, my beautiful rose?"
She giggled. "Yes, my flaming fire," she said as the music began again, the catchy beat making the two dance in time to the song before a softer Irish song came on and they began slowly dancing. Crystal giggled as she came up to them, a crown of shamrocks in her hair. "This is going to be the best St. Patrick's Day ever," she said.
"I agree," Rachel said right before an announcement came that the feast was ready and they all sat down at the table, smiling as they saw corned beef, potatoes, carrots, cabbage, mint jelly, green Jell-O, and Irish soda bread. "We are all very luck on this day of good luck."
"Couldn't have said it better myself," Blaze said in agreement as they all dug in, enjoying the good food and the jovial atmosphere of the holiday.
