There stood Blaise in an awed look. He did not know what just happened but he knew that Hermione just kissed Fred on the cheek. Fred stood there stunned. He did not know what to do or say. His smile grew on his face into a goofy grin. George and the other guys were laughing at Fred. Fred turned to look at them and said,
"What?"
"Nothing Romeo but we have work to do." George said dragging him out form the Great Hall.
Hermione watch as George drag Fred to their planning spot. She was not going to stop them. It was who they are and she actually enjoy their pranks, most of them at least. She went to an empty corridor and opened the Marauder's map to look for Ron. She was going to find out what he was doing before she told the headmistress. Hermione felt someone behind her and she turned around whipping out her wand. Her wand was right in the face of Draco. She put it down and said,
"Draco I could have hurt you. What are you doing here?"
"I would ask you the same thing. You are acting weird since you came back from McGonagall's office. Is everything alright?" He asked concerned.
Since this year Draco has noticed that he started to care for Hermione, she was a great person to have in his life. She made him realize that he could be a better person and that is what he wants to be. Draco could tell that Hermione was hiding something and she was not sure what it was. But Draco wanted to help her. They are a team now.
"Hermione, you can trust me. We are a team now. I am here for you. I have your back." Draco said.
"I know but I am not sure what is going on. I saw Ron talking to someone. But I did not know who the other person was. My gut is telling me something was wrong." Hermione explained.
"So there is no student trying to do a dangerous prank?" Draco asked with his eye brow raised.
"No, it just came to mind. I know I should have not said anything. We could have had a prank free year." Hermione said with a snicker.
"You think. But school would not be interesting if they did not. Have you not seen the teacher and upper leave students go around school cautiously?" Draco said laughing.
Hermione nodded and then went back to the map. She could not find Ron anywhere. She did not understand that. But she had one idea where he could be but that could not be true because that is where the twins are. That is where they plan their pranks now.
Fred could still feel her soft lips on his check. It just brightened his day up. George and he went to the room of requirements to start planning on their prank. There were papers everywhere and they could not think up of an ultimate prank that would be remember forever.
"This was never hard for us to figure out a prank. What happened to us George?" Fred asked confused.
"Nothing. You just need the right inspiration." A women's voice said. Fred and George turned around to find…..
