You are walking home after closing another murder case. Things seem to be in a rut for you. Get up, eat, go to work, solve another case, make sure the other hunters haven't found your trail, go home, eat, sleep, repeat. Nothing seems to feel worth it anymore.
"C'mon y/f/n. There has got to be something you can do with your life other than this!" You kick a can that was left on the sidewalk of New York street.
Your phone suddenly rings. You look at the contact. Unknown it says. You answer it anyway. "What do you want, Castiel?" You growl.
"I am so glad you know it is me." The monotonic voice replies. You roll your eyes and keep walking. "Is there something you need?"
"A wolf has murdered another hunter." He replies.
"You honestly still think I would kill another hunter?" You demand. You have dealt with this angel as long as you can remember. He practically raised you. You sigh and stop at a bus bench. Sitting down you listen to Castiel, "I am serious, y/n! The hunters have been slowly disappearing!"
"And how have you come to this information?" You ask calmly. You already knew about the murder. You were going to work the case tomorrow.
"Sam and Dean Winchester. How else am I to know?"
"Your angelic powers?" you snorted. The fact that he conversed with the same people trying to kill you had always made you worried. you knew he was hopelessly in love with the eldest.
"I can't use them to do that and you know it." He snapped. You snickered. He hated it when you brought up his angelic ways. You here a crash in an alley behind you. "I gotta go." You say and click the end call button on your screen. You pulled out your 357 pistol and slowly stalk toward the alley. "Perfect day to forget your silver bullets!" A sarcastic male voice responded. What you gathered was that who ever was in the alley was surrounded by wolves and they were hunters. You put your pistol away only to pull out your Desert Eagle, filled with silver bullets. You always had a separate gun for separate cases. Though, you never filled the silver gun's magazine yourself. You made Castiel do it.
"FBI, put your hands where I can see them!" You yell. Your y/e/c changes to an amber yellow as the pack turns to face you. The leader, a tall man with a mustache, sneered, "Fuck you, Loner."
"You don't tell me to fuck anyone!" You snarl and pull the trigger. With a bull's eye hit between the eyes, the wolf falls. The pack members gasp before turning their glowing eyes on you. You shoot three more times and watch three fall, one shot to the heart, one to the stomach, the last to the left eye. Three members remained. And you had no more bullets.
Damn it. You should have had Cas fill it before you left this morning! There was no need for the bullets though. You watched as the rest of the members fled. One turned back and snarled, "You will pay for this, y/n"
"Oh, yeah? And how will I pay? Cash, check or card?" You mocked.
"Damn." One of the hunters said. You turned. One hunter was tall, with sandy blond hair, dreamy hazel eyes and big biceps. The other was shorter with brown hair and emerald green eyes. They looked familiar to you.
"Sam. That's the girl Cas has been hiding from us." The shorter one said. You look between the two hunters in shock. Well shit.
