"She said yes. I am going on a date with Hermione Granger." Blaise said with a huge grin.
George looked to Fred and saw that he was sad. Fred left the group of guys. Hermione looked at the girls when they saw Fred walking back to the castle. She looked over to them and they just shrugged. Hermione put it back of her head and ask if he was alright later. Hermione really cared about Fred since working at the shop with the twins.
The girls got up and headed over the guys to see what is going on. Hermione pulled George to the side and asked,
"What is going on with Fred? Is he alright?"
"Don't worry Hermione. He will figure it out. So what's your plans for Christmas break?" George asked changing the subject.
Hermione smiled and said,
"I think that I will be spending some great time with my two favorite Weasleys."
George smiled to her. He did enjoy having Hermione around the shop. She was a great help there. George then said,
"Well, we would love to have you over Christmas break. So we get our favorite volunteer back to work."
Hermione smiled back to him and then got picked up and twirled around. George gentle put her back down when everyone was looking at them. Blaise walked over to Hermione and was going to say something until George said,
"I need to go and plan some things for the shop. Got to get some business planned. Got an important meeting to deal with on this Hogsmeade trip."
"Oh are you going to talk to him? Do you need me there right now to go over what you are going to say to him? Because if you don't say things right the deal will go downhill." Hermione asked.
"Yeah, because you know we suck at making deals." George said with a smile.
Hermione turned to everyone and said her goodbyes and followed George up to the castle to find Fred to make some planning done. The girls giggled and sighed when they saw Blaise's face as Hermine left.
*Hogsmeade Trip*
Hermione was getting ready for her date with Blaise. Hermione walked down to the common room to see Draco smile to her. They walked to the entrance of school. Blaise grew even bigger as he saw Hermione. She smiled to him and said,
"Hi are you ready?"
"Yeah, let's go. Where do you want to go first?" Blaise asked.
They started down and Hermione felt an arm on her shoulder and she turned to face Fred and George. George smiled to Hermione and Blaise and asked,
"Are you still coming later on? Because we really need you."
Hermione nodded and said,
"Of course I will be there. The shop is as important to you guys as it is to me."
The twins smiled and then headed down to the stores. Blaise looked at Hermione confused and asked,
"What was that about?"
"Oh I totally forgot. I promised Fred and George that I would come with them to their business meeting. Is that alright? It will only take an hour and then I am all yours." Hermione asked hesitantly.
"Umm… Sure. I will just wait for you at The Three Broomsticks." Blaise said with a sigh.
He walked off to the Three Broomsticks. Hermione sighed and went to meet up with Fred and George. She walked up to Zonko's and saw Fred and George already there. They were laughing with the store owner. She walked in and said,
"Well, am I even needed here?"
The three gentlemen turned to see Hermione standing there. George smiled and said,
"Oh Hermione we always need you. You are our rock in the store. Now that you are here we can go down to business."
"Yes, what is it that you want to talk about?" The store owner asked.
"Well, Steve you know that we have been trying to move up in the business. And we know that you are looking for someone to take over the shop." George started.
"We want to be the ones to take over your shop and turned Zonkos into a branch of Weasley Wizard Wheezes." Fred finished.
Steve looked at them shocked. He did not know what to think. Hermione saw his look and then stepped in and spoke up,
"Now Mr. Zonkos,"
"Please call me Steve." Steve asked.
"Steve, you need to know that the boys sell has gone up one hundred percent and their profit has increased. The boys take their business serious and would take care of this place like their own. You can trust them. I do have here with me a contract that you can look over to make some changes to your liking. The twins are open for the pricing of the store. So what are your concerns?" Hermione asked.
Steve smiled and then laughed and said,
"No wonder you have her. She is incredible with negotiations. When I was listening to her talk I was ready to sign the contract. You are amazing young lady. I wish I had you here to get me a better deal on this place when I opened. The twins are lucky to have you."
"Thank you." Hermione stated.
Steve looked over the contract and smiled. He put it down and said,
"This is perfect. I have no changes. You have a gift my deal. Now where do I sign?"
The twins looked at each other in excitement and Hermione said,
"Now wait a minute. Let's not get a head of ourselves before we talk pricing. Then you three can sign on the dotted line."
The three guys nodded and started to talk pricing. After a few minutes of going up and down Hermione finally stepped in and helped them out. She looked around the shop and gave an estimate price that both parties could not resist. She watched Fred and George sign the contract with Steve. They shook their hands and Hermione said,
"Here is your copy of the contract Steve. Fred George I will file this tomorrow and we can go from there on everything with the bank and when to make the announcement about the news. I will see you all later."
Hermione walked out and headed over to the Three Broomsticks. She felt a hand on her shoulder and saw Fred behind her. Hermione looked at him into his eyes and asked,
"What is it Fred?"
"I just want to thank you for everything that you have done for George and me. You have really helped us out since you started to volunteer at the shop. I don't know where we would be if it wasn't for you." Fred stated giving her a hug.
Hermione smiled and said,
"Fred, you two were doing just fine without me. I just did a little help here and there."
"I don't think that. You have been the best thing that has happened to the shop." Fred stated.
Hermione smiled and gave him a hug. She left to go into the Three Broomsticks. Hermione saw Blaise and Draco talking. She started to walk quietly so that she could hear what they were talking about.
"So where is Hermione?" Draco asked.
"She had to go do a favor for the Weasley twins. I don't know actually." Blaise said a little annoyed.
Hermione eyed them both and did not know what to think about his tone. Hermione kept listening and heard Draco asked,
"What do you mean you don't know actually?"
"Well, ever since I have talked to Hermione and hang out with her after asking her out, all she talks about is the Weasley twins shop or about Fred. She went on this rant about how Fred gave her this necklace that I asked about one day. It was all about Fred and the shop. I don't hear the end of it. That is all I hear about now some days. It's that or about her friends and family. But I am alright." Blaise ranted.
Hermione glared at Blaise's back. Draco saw Hermione and saw that she was pissed. He was about to say something but Hermione shook her head. She walked behind him and Draco said,
"Blaise, I would,"
"It's like I am dating all of them. I only wanted to date Hermione. Not her and the twins." Blaise said.
"Oh so you don't care what my passion is right now. So you never really listen to my conversations because it's not all about you." Hermione said pissed.
Blaise turned around surprised. It was like the room went quiet. Everyone in the hub looked what was going on. Hermione walked around and stood right by the table and faced Blaise. She looked at him in the eyes and asked,
"So you don't care for me or who I am. I don't want to be with anyone that doesn't want to hear about what I have a passion for. I care for the twins and their shop. They gave me a home when I needed it. They are like family to me. If you can't stand me talking about them or how I think of them in high regards, then I don't need you in my life."
Hermione picked up Blaise's butterbeer and dumped it on his head. She slammed it down and turned to walk out. She faced the door and saw Fred and George standing there with huge eyes. She walked up to them and said,
"Let's go celebrate our big win today for the shop."
Fred and George both took a side of Hermione and walked out of the pub. Everyone watched and Draco looked at Blaise and shook his head.
"You're an idiot. You just lost your chance with Hermione now. She will defiantly not give you another chance for being anything more. She is right now probably thinking about your friendship. You screwed up with that big mouth of yours." Draco said walking out.
