I walked around the yard. It was lightly snowing. I loved the feeling of winter. It was the time of celebration. I was always around loved one even during the dark times of the year. They could never take away the celebrations of holidays from us.

"Hermione are you alright?" Harry asked coming up to me.

"I will be. It's just different now." I told him.

Harry wrapped his arms around me and we just stood there. Ron came up to us and he placed a hand on my shoulder. I gave him a hug and we walked back to the house. I was so lucky that I had these two in my life.

"Hi Hermione." A voice said behind me.

I turned around to see Carsen in the room. I gave George a look and he had a same look as Angela. Angela came over to me and asked,

"Carsen what are you doing here?"

"I invited her."

I turned to the door and saw Fred standing there. He walked over to Carsen and placed his arm around her. She leaned into him and he placed a kiss on her forehead. I felt a pain in my chest. I did not know what to think. George came up behind me and said,

"What is your problem?"

"What do you mean?" Fred asked.

"He means Carsen and you." Angela stated.

"You mean my girlfriend." Fred stated.

I could not stand hearing those words. I ran out of the house and did not look back. I heard my name being called from the house. I did not turn around. I heard footsteps behind me, but I did not care. I got to the apparition point and I thought of only one place to go.

I landed in front of a little cottage. I heard my name and I turned to see Draco standing there. He gave me a hug and then looked at me with worried eyes.

"Hermione are you alright?" Draco asked.

"Draco sweetie, who is… Miss Granger." Narssica said in surprise.

"I was wondering if I could stay here for rest of winter break?" I asked.

"Of course, dear." Narssica said.

Draco pulled me aside and we talked about how our winter break has been going. I thought it was sweet of Draco to not ask anything about why I was upset. I sighed and then said,

"You can ask Draco."

"What happened? I thought you were happy with Fred." Draco asked.

"I…."

But I was interrupted by Narssica coming in. She had this look and I knew something happened. She did not even have to say anything. Draco took my hand and we apparated to the Burrow. Ginny ran up to me and I could see she was bruised up.

"What happened?" I asked scared.

"We are all alright. We captured them all, but Fred got hurt." Ginny said.

I ran into the house and looked around. Right there on the couch was Fred. He was laying there. Everyone was around him. Carsen was sitting by him all smothering. Molly tried to get near him, but Carsen wouldn't let her.

I cam over and ripped her off Fred. I gave Molly a nodded and she went over to her son to take care of him. Carsen got out of my grip and gave me a look.

"What do you think you are doing?" Carsen asked me pissed.

"What I'm doing! Don't you mean you. That is his mother. She needs to take care of him." I spatted at her.

We heard a groan from Fred. Molly looked at me and asked if I could help with his wounds. Carsen stepped up and George stopped her.

"I trust Hermione more then you. Hermione has experience with healing." George stated.

I ran over to her and started taking care of Fred. I did not know what to think. We got him stable until St. Mangos people came through the fireplace. I told them everything I did. One of the nurses pasted me and said,

"We could use a witch like you."

We all followed them to St. Mangos. I waited behind. George turned and looked at me. He had this look in his eyes. He came up to me and said,

"I need you to come. I don't know if I can go through with this again. Please Hermione."

I nodded, and we followed the rest of the Weasley clan. As we landed I looked around and saw all the red hair. They were waiting for news. A healer came out of a room and came up to us.

"Are you the one that stabled the patient?" The healer asked.

I nodded, and she then said,

"I need your help. We are low on staff and I was told by a few people that you are the expert."

"What is going on?" Molly asked.

"They want Hermione to help." George said.

I walked in the room with the healer. There was so much going on. I jumped right in and helped. We all walked out. A few of the nurses were talking to me and told me that I had a gift. The healer came up to me and said,

"If you have time. I think you would be interested in volunteering here for a few times. We could really use the helping hand. Mostly by you, Hermione Granger."

"Thanks, I will think about it. I'm going to go talk to the Weasley's now about Fred." I told her.

I walked over to my second family. Molly came up to me and hugged me. I gave Arthur a smile and he asked,

"How is he? Will he be alright?"

"Fred will be fine. He should be waking up soon. If you want to go and see him, you can." I told them.

Everyone went into his room. George came to me first and gave me a hug. He whispered into my ear and said,

"Thank you, my guardian angel."

"You're welcome George. He means so much to both of us." I said.

Ron came out and he had this look on his face. I ran into the room with George. Everyone moved out of my way. I was worried something was wrong. But there Fred laying there smiling at me.

"Hermione!"

"I'm right here Fred. So is George." I told him.

He took my hand and then kissed it. Carsen pushed passed me and gave him a kiss. Fred tried to push her away. George and I saw that and pulled Carsen away. Fred then tried to say something, and Carsen said,

"See he wants me!"

"Her-mion-eee." Fred said breathless.

Carsen looked at me and did not know what to say. George smirked and said,

"I think my brother wants Hermione. Oh, and Carsen you are fired. Don't ever come back to our joke shop again."

She stormed out and you could see the smiles on everyone's faces. George moved to let me sit by Fred. I gave him a smile and I heard Harry say,

"We should give them some time to talk."

"I'll be right outside if you need me." George said.

"Hermione, I want to apologize for everything that happened." Fred started to say.

"Fred…." I was about to say.

"Hermione listen, please. I want to explain." Fred plead. I nodded and then Fred continued,

"Hermione, you are the best person that I know. You have been an amazing addition to the shop. I do not want to change that. I don't know what came over me."

He looked around and then asked,

"How did I get here? What happened to me?"

"You don't remember what happened at the Burrow?" I asked.

He shocks his head and then I explained everything to him. He put his input in on what he remembered. Thinking about everything that Fred was telling me. Something did not make sense to me. I called for George to come in and sit with Fred. I got up and walked out of the room. I went to the front desk and the nurse asked,

"How can I help you Miss Granger?"

"I was wondering if there is any way I could look at some documents that you have on file." I asked.

She nodded and took me to the room. I thanked her and started to look around. I had an idea on what I was looking for. I heard the door open and saw one of the nurses standing there. She gave me a smile and said,

"Healer Seitz thought you might like to look at the patient's file. She heard that you were here and if you need anything don't hesitate to ask."

I thanked her and started to look through his file. Nothing was making sense in his files. I sat there for hours. Right then I heard my name. I turned to see Angela standing at the door. She came in and said,

"Hermione, you have been gone for hours. We were worried about you. Are you alright? Fred is asking for you."

"Is Fred alright?" I asked worried.

"He's fine. The healer said that he will make a full recovery thanks to you. But he is just worried about you and wants to make sure you are alright." Angela said.

I nodded and then said,

"Something doesn't add up in his charts."

I took the chart to Healer Seitz. She smiled at me and asked,

"What is it Miss Granger?"

"Call me Hermione. I have a question about a few things on Fred's charts." I said.

I pointed out a few things that did not make sense to me. Healer Seitz took the file from me and looked it over. She had this look on her face and said,

"How did I not see this?"

"What is it?" I asked.

"You are right Hermione. Some of these ingredients not right." She said. "These are ingredients for…."

"A love potion." I stated.

I walked away and found Carsen close to Fred's room. I walked up to her and I did not know what happened. I just let my emotions take control of me. I just swing and punched her.
