Harper poked her head out of an open window of her and Ivor's lab (their "pad" as he always called it) and looked out at the streets of Beacontown in a mixture of relief and amazement. The sky that had started to become hidden away by layers of bedrock just minutes before, something having to do with the "Admin" Harper suspected, had begun to clear, allowing the sun's bright, morning rays to shine down on the many structures, streets, and people of Beacontown.

Everywhere Harper could see, people were cheering, crying, hugging each other, and everything else of the sort. She couldn't even begin to imagine how relieved they felt. Except for Harper herself, maybe, but she felt like she had been through a long enough world-wide disaster for her to not know how to compose herself during these sorts of events. But, the people of Beacontown? The disaster they had all experienced had not lasted as long as PAMA in Crown Mesa, and Harper could fairly assume that they would have been very panicked to find out that their world was being ultimately threatened yet again.

Harper could recognize the looks of relief and shock on their faces from the citizens of Crown Mesa when PAMA had finally been destroyed. It made the corners of her mouth twitch upwards into a small smile.

At this point, she had a feeling that the Admin had been defeated.

By who? Harper knew that she couldn't be certain, but she had a strong feeling that it had been Jesse, if Ivor's theory about the Admin creating or posing as a "fake Jesse." Throughout all of the time that Harper has known them, she knew that Jesse would never do anything like this. It was just… unreal for them to do anything like those. And they also seemed to have a habit of saving large groups of people in need. Her own reassurances in her mind made her certain that Jesse wasn't behind any of what had happened to Beacontown.

But, there was no doubt that something was lingering in the back of her mind. But it wasn't about her worries of Jesse or the Admin.

It was about something else. Someone else. Someone important. Too important for Harper to forget about even in the slightest.

And he wasn't there.

Where is he? Has he come back yet? He has to be back if Jesse stopped the Admin. Is he with them?

Harper began to feel panic gripping her heart as she finally realized how long Ivor had been gone. He said he would be back. He said he'd come back with Jesse as soon as he found them. What if something had happened to him? What if he..?

No. Not to him. Not to him. Notch, not to him. Anyone but him.

Harper could feel denial clouding her mind. But, the inevitable tears began to well at the corners of her eyes.

Oh god… Please no. Please, let him-

"Psst! Harper!"

Harper's reflexes went off as she heard a hushed voice behind her and grabbed the nearest thing she could reach for, a semi thick, hardcover book on a desk just off to the side from the window. She immediately whirled around and poised her arms upwards to strike, the book clutches firmly between her fingers, her eyes shut tightly.

"Harper! Harper! Don't-! It's me!"

Harper froze as the voice rose a bit at her reaction. She opened her eyes and found no one behind her. She glanced from side to side for a moment before realizing that there were small, faint, curling potion effects radiating off of someone.

Invisibility potion.

That voice.

Harper had to really stop herself from crying now. This time, from relief. "... Ivor?"

"Yes! Thank Notch, I thought you- Wait, hold on…" he paused for a moment, and a small potions bottle filled with milk was drawn out of thin air and held up, the liquid pouring down and disappearing into nothing. Suddenly, the air in front of her began to give way and reveal no one other than Ivor himself. The bearded man placed the now-empty bottle back in his potions bag and looked up at Harper. He smiled at her, and extended his arms.

Harper couldn't hold back anymore. She practically pounced on Ivor and threw her arms around him with such a passionate force that he let out a startled Yelp as they both went tumbling backwards down onto their shared bed, it thankfully being close enough to catch them both. Ivor blinked as Harper lay on top of him buried her face in his neck, sobbing out how much she had worried about him, how she thought something had happened to him, and how much she had missed him. She felt Ivor's arms slowly wrapping around her as he leaned his chin down against her forehead, gently rubbing one hand through her hair while the other rubbed and caressed her back while he whispered soft reassurances to her.

"Shhh… It's alright… I'm here…"

Once Harper's tears had mostly dried, she lifted her head from his neck and gazed into his eyes for a few moments, cheeks still stained with transparent tear tracks. He stared and smiled back, reaching one hand towards her face to gently tuck a few strands of her white hair back behind her ear. Harper returned the soft gesture by leaning forward and pressing her lips against his, cradling one of his cheeks in the palm of her hand. Ivor happily complied, sliding his hand up the back of her head to bring Harper closer to him. During their kiss, Harper's past tears had begun to well up again from the pure relief of him just being there. Safe. Alive. Unharmed, well, at least she hoped.

After a good minute of their intimate exchange, they slowly pulled apart from one another, doing nothing more than just simply looking at the other for a few moments. This was before Harper finally spoke up, the first smile she had since he'd returned plastered on her face.

"Took you long enough."

Ivor sent a fake glare her way. "Well, I'm here, aren't I?" He retorted with the same playful tone to his voice, sitting up so that he was sat on the edge of the bed with Harper sitting on his lap, arms still wrapped around his neck while she kept herself close to him, Ivor's arms wrapped around her as well.

"Yes, yes you are…" Harper murmured while pressing her face into his chest for a moment, gripping him tightly, as though she were afraid she would never be able to feel him again, "I hope you know how worried you got me, mister. My hair can't get any greyer, you know."

Ivor chuckled. "I missed you, too." He responded, pressing a soft peck to her forehead. He pulled back a bit to look Harper in the eyes, delight lighting his own up, "We were right. It wasn't Jesse. It was the Admin."

Harper sighed, leaning against him. "That's a relief. I couldn't imagine him ever doing anything like that." The two remained silent for another short while before Harper piped up again, "Did you see what happened? To the sky?"

Ivor nodded grimly, "With the bedrock. Yes, I saw it. I imagine that it had to do something with the Admin."

"But, it disappeared, didn't it? That means that Jesse should have defeated it, doesn't it?" Harper looked up at him hopefully.

"I'd assume so. But let's wait and see. We can't be certain of anything yet." The pale man's face darkened and he glanced out the window, "I just hope they're alright…"

"I'm sure they are." Harper assured him, lightly caressing his arms to soothe him. Ivor looked down at her gratefully, Harper returning it with a warm smile. After a short while of just staring at one another, Ivor's face grew a bit pink as he glanced away, Harper giggling softly at him.

"Well… Should we go and see if they're alright…?" Ivor asked, a bit nervously now.

"I'm sure they are… But… Let's just stay here for a while…" Harper smirked a small bit at Ivor's sudden flustered state and she let her fingers brush against his shoulders, making his cheeks turn a bit darker.

"W-Well, if you say so," Ivor stuttered, one of his habits that made Harper love him so much.

"Oh, trust me, I do," Harper giggles and leaned in again, capturing her love's lips again and not pulling away for a long while.
