The next morning, Apple and Raven had made their way to Bookend's Pokemon Gym.
"So, this is the Glass Gym," said Raven as they stood outside a large building.
"You're going to have some trouble against the Gym Leader, she's a friend of mine and a tough trainer," said Apple.
"I've already defeated four other Gyms," said Raven as she showed her four badges which were pinned to the inside of her jacket. Before another word could be said, someone came running out and talked-hugged Apple.
"It's good to see you too, Ashlynn," said Apple as she hugged the brunette.
"Sorry girl, just happy to see you get out of that stupid castle," said Ashlynn as she let the princess go.
"Castle?" asked Raven. This caused Apple's eyes to go wide.
"Oh, are you a new friend of Apple's, she's a stubben princess so please take care of her," said Ashlynn as she gave Raven a slight bow.
"She didn't know!" whispered a panicked Apple as she grabbed Ashlynn's arm.
"Um, how about we move this to one of the rooms inside?" asked Ashlynn. A few minutes later they were sitting inside a meeting room of the Gym.
"So, you're a princess?" asked Raven.
"My last name is White," said Apple as she avoided eye contact.
"What are the odds that I of all people would run into Princess Apple White?" asked Raven as she leaned back in her chair while hiding her face in her hands.
"What do you mean?" asked Ashlynn.
"I didn't tell her my last name either, which is Queen," said Raven without moving her hands.
"You mean Queen as in the Evil Queen?" asked a worried Apple.
"She's my mother, but I'm nothing like her, it's why I'm trying to make a name for myself by defeating the Gyms," said Raven as she removed her hands to reveal the series look in her eyes.
"Then let me see your Pokemon, I'll be able to tell if that's true then," said Apple.
"Just a warning, I use Ghost Type Pokemon so don't get scared," said Raven as she took out three Pokeballs.
