"Beartic, use Dig!" said Ashlynn. Beartic managed to dodge the Will-O-Wisp by going underground.
"Misdreavus, use Shadow Ball while aimed at the ground!" said Raven.
"Trying to force Beartic out by destroying its hiding spot, impressive," thought Apple.
"Looks like we found you," said Raven as the last shot revealed Beartic who was now stuck in the rubble.
"Beartic, you have to get out of there!" said a worried Ashlynn.
"Finish it up with Will-O-Wisp!" said Raven. When the move hit, it caused a large dust cloud to cover the field.
"Beartic is unable to battle," said the ref as the smoke cleared to reveal an uncouncis Beartic who was still stuck in the rubble.
"Wow, Raven still has all three of her pokemon while Ashlynn is down to her last one," thought a stunned Apple.
"Sunny Day just ended and Misdreavus shouldn't be able to keep going for much longer," thought Ashlynn as she recalled Beartic. The little Ghost Type was also breathing heavily.
"It's all up to you, Sandslash!" said Ashlynn as she sent out an Alolan Sandslash.
"Misdreavus, hang in there just a little longer," said Raven.
"Lets get them before they get us, Sandslash," said Ashlynn before using her Z-Ring.
"Steel Type Z-Move, Corkscrew Crash, how will you deal with it, Raven?" thought Apple.
"Misdreavus, use Sunny Day!" said Raven.
"So that's why she kept it in," thought Ashlynn as the weather condition hit before the Z-Move.
"Misdreavus is unable to battle!" said the ref.
"Thanks for the help, Misdreavus, have a good rest," said Raven as she called the Pokemon back.
"Finish it, Gengar!" said Raven.
"Sandslash, use Icicle Spear!" said Ashlynn.
"Let your flaming spirit rain down from above and burn all to ashes!" said Raven as she activated her Z-Move.
"Inferno Overdrive!" said Raven.
"Wasn't expecting that," said Ashlynn as she watched the Z-Move land.
"Sandslash is unable to battle, the winner is the challenger, Raven Queen," said the ref.
"Way to go, Gengar!" said Raven as she hugged the Pokemon.
"What a combination, using Sunny Day to increase the strength of Inferno Overdrive," said Apple as she stood up.
