On June 9th, Gil Vernetti-Gordon got engaged to Molly Rodriguez at his cousin's wedding.
Gil: Hey everybody, I've got something to say! *holds out an open box with a blue sapphire ring in it* Molly, will you marry me?
Molly: Yes Gilly, of course I'll marry you!
Gil and Molly hugged and kissed each other and everyone cheered.
Five months later, on November 9th, it was a beautiful day in Bubbletucky. Everyone got dressed up, the ceremony and reception were set up, and the wedding cake was frosted and decorated.
The Italian-Jewish-American groom, Gil, wears a white tuxedo with a white bowtie, a white cummerbund, a white rose bouttoniere, and white shoes. The Cuban-American bride, Molly, wears a white strapless ball gown, white elbow-length gloves, white high heels, and a silver tiara with her two-tier white waist length veil and she felt like a princess.
Gil's groomsmen (Marcus, Oscar, James, Cesario, Xavier, Thomas, Nonny, and Jeffrey), his best man (Goby), and the ring bearer pup (Bubble Puppy) were all wearing white tuxedos with blue bowties and cummerbunds.
Gil: So, what do you think?
Goby: You look awesome!
Nonny: I like it.
Jeffrey: I can't wait to see Molly.
Cesario: Me too.
Bubble Puppy: Arf!
Molly's bridesmaids (Angie, Debora, Isidora, Christina, Stephanie, Evelyn, Oona, and Zooli) and her maid of honor (Deema) were all wearing long blue dresses with white sashes. The flower girl kitty (Bubble Kitty) is wearing a white flower girl dress with a blue sash.
Molly: So, what do you think?
Oona: It's beautiful!
Deema: Fabulous!
Zooli: What do you think of Gil and Molly's wedding?
At the synagogue where his parents got married, Gil was standing in front of the chuppah/altar, waiting for Molly to come. As the bridal party walked, Bubble Puppy was the ring bearer pup and Bubble Kitty was the flower girl kitty.
Rabbi: Please stand up for the bride.
The string quartet played Here Comes The Bride. Gil saw Molly, who was carrying a bouquet of white roses. She was so beautiful.
Rabbi: We are gathered here today to celebrate the marriage of Gilligan Angelo Vernetti-Gordon and Molly Isidora Rodriguez in holy matrimony.
(Minutes later)
Rabbi: Molly, do you take Gil to be your lawfully wedded husband? To love and to cherish, for the rich and the poor, in sickness and health, as long as you both shall live?
Molly: I do.
Rabbi: Gil, do you take Molly to be your lawfully wedded wife? To love and to cherish, for the rich and the poor, in sickness and health, as long as you both shall live?
Gil: I do.
Rabbi: May I have the rings.
Gil: I, Gilligan Angelo Vernetti-Gordon, take Molly Isidora Rodriguez to be my wife.
Gil puts the ring on Molly's finger, next to her engagement ring.
Molly: I, Molly Isidora Rodriguez, take Gilligan Angelo Vernetti-Gordon to be my husband.
Molly puts the ring on Gil's finger.
Rabbi: By the power vested in me by the town of Bubbletucky, I now pronounce you, husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride.
Gil: *breaks glass* Mazel Tov!
Gil lifted Molly's veil and they both kiss.
Rabbi: I now present to you Mr. and Mrs. Gordon-Rodriguez.
The string quartet played The Wedding March as people threw rice at Gil and Molly as they walked down the aisle and soon, they left in the horse and carriage to go to the reception. Later, the bridal party and the guests went to the reception.
At the reception, they had chandeliers, tables, Chiavari chairs, floral centerpieces with candles, wedding favors, a sweetheart table that has an M & G in it along with two thrones, and a 5-tier wedding cake with white roses, rhinestones, and a bride and groom on top.
MC: Ladies and gentlemen, let's give an applause for Mr. and Mrs. Gordon-Rodriguez.
Gil and Molly danced as husband and wife. Later, the guests danced to the music, including Goby, Deema, Oona, and Nonny. They danced to Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Dembow, Latin Trap, Reggaeton, Rap, Hip-Hop, R&B, Top 40, Old School, an Italian traditional dance called the Tarantella, and two Jewish traditional dances called Hava Nagila and the Horah. They also had a conga line.
After that, Gil and Molly had cut the beautiful wedding cake. Gil took a bite from the cake and he gave Molly a kiss. Then, Molly took a bite from the cake and she gave Gil a dab of frosting on his nose. After the cake cutting and the Viennese Hour, Deema caught the bouquet in the bouquet toss and Goby caught the garter in the garter toss. After that, they had a Hora Loca and after that, they had fireworks.
After the wedding was over, they went to Miami, Florida, USA for their honeymoon.
