A couple of days into their journey to Sherwood Forest, Apple and Raven were just outside the main town.
"Hey, did you hear that?" asked Apple as she stopped walking.
"It sounds like it's coming from over here," said Raven as she heard the cry of a Pokemon in distress. When the two looked at the bushes, they found a Clefairy laying on it's side in bad shape.
"We have to get it to a Pokemon Center now," said Apple as she noticed all of the wounds on its body. She wasted no time in picking the small Pokemon up and ran into town. A few hours after finding the Clefairy, Raven and Apple were waiting in the lobby.
"I hope the little thing will be alright," said Apple.
"I'm sure it'll be fine," said Raven as she put her hand on Apple's shoulder to try and calm her.
"Thanks Raven," said Apple who was trying to avoid eye contact with her because of the deep blush that was on her face now.
"Apple, Raven," said Nurse Farrah Goodfairy as she walked up to them with a Chansey.
"Is the Clefairy going to be alright?" asked Apple.
"After a few days of rest it will be just fine," said Nurse Farrah.
"May I go talk to it?" asked Apple.
"That's fine with me," said Nuse Farrah. That evening, Apple and Raven were in one of the guest rooms, where Apple was furious.
"I can't believe it, Raven, the poor thing was abandoned by its last trainer, left to fend for itself with now moves to protect itself with!" said Apple as she paced back and forth.
"I'm mad too, Apple, I saw that all the time with those stupid Team Rocket idiots, if they caught a Pokemon stronger then one they had they would just dump them," said Raven.
"That's not right, all Pokemon have their good points, weak or strong," said Apple as her fists shook in anger. However, all of that anger left when Raven suddenly hugged her from behind.
"I love how much you care for Pokemon, but getting mad won't help," said Raven.
"You… you're right," said Apple as her face went redder than her namesake.
"We should get to sleep, long day ahead of us tomorrow," said Apple as she broke out of the hug and took the top bunk.
"Nice going, Raven, you just made things acquired with her," thought Raven as she went to turn the light off. Her face was just as red as Apple's had been.
