A week after Clefairy had joined them, Apple and Raven were training at a Pokemon Center in a port town at night.
"Clefairy, use Sweet Kiss!" said Apple as Clefairy fought with Misdreavus. The second the attack landed, Misdreavus was put under Confusion.
"Not good," said Raven as Misdreavus hurt itself.
"Finish it off with Disarming Voice!" said Apple. The second the attack hit, Misdreavus fainted.
"Alright, that was great you two," said Raven as she recalled Misdreavus.
"Get some rest, Clefairy," said Apple as she recalled it.
"Togepi, it's your turn next," said Apple as she looked at the small Fairy Type that was sitting next to her feet.
"Hang on, something is watching us," said Raven as she looked at the dark forest that was nearby
"Are you sure?" asked Apple as she looked at the same spot that Raven had been, but she couldn't see anything it was so dark.
"I like Ghost Types, I know when they are around," said Raven.
"Clops," said a Dusclops as it appeared before them at the tree line.
"A Dusclops," said a surprised Raven.
"What are you doing here?" asked Apple as she held Togepi. She wasn't afraid of Raven's team since they were trained Pokemon, but a wild Ghost Type was unpredictable.
"Dus, Dusclops," said Dusclops while pointing at Raven.
"He said that he can feel your love for Ghost Types and wishes to travel with you, Raven," said Apple with a stunned expression.
"Clops, Dus," said Dusclops as he moved closer.
"He also has something for you," said Apple. Once Dusclops was close enough, it held out its hand which had a Ghostium-Z in it.
"Well then, welcome to the team," said Raven as she took the Z-Crystal and put it into her bag. She then took out a pokeball, which Dusclops used to catch itself by tapping the button.
"Can't wait for my battle with Cerise now, she'll be so shocked," said Raven as she smiled at the ball.
