The red Aston Martin waited until the yellow Urbana appeared in view. He caught up with him and continued by his side. "We shouldn't find anyone in our way now." The 'Con explained. "Now, the second step is to put your pet out of danger."
*Not a pet.* The scout corrected him. *How?*
"The kid will have to jump into me." Knockout explained. "I can drive him away and then the 'Bots can get him back to your base."
*And if he falls? I'm driving at 130 mi/h.* Bumblebee was worried. *If he doesn't achieve it he will die.*
"I'll catch him." The red cybertronian hurried. "If we don't do it, the fleshie will die anyway. Your choice."
There was a silence. *Raf, listen to me. Even though I would like to find a better way of getting you out from here, Knockout is right. The only way is jumping into him. I don't like the idea of leaving you in servos of a Decepticon, but I need you out from here now.* The scout talked to his friend. *Get into the driver's seat.*
The kid moved forwards, trying not to touch anything that could make his guardian lose control. "Bumblebee are you sure this will result? I don't want to leave you alone." The kid caressed the steering wheel lightly. "What if Knockout betrays you?"
*Right now, he may be our only getaway.* The guardian answered. *Just trust me.* The yellow mech talked to the other cybertronian. *Knockout, get ready. Rafael is gonna jump.*
The other Cybertronian opened the door. "Whenever you want." He fortunately had rolled the window down, leaving the frame to grab a hold on. That would help the human to step in easier, he hoped.
*Ok, Raf, hold on.* The Autobot opened the door. He thanked his door opened upwards, after all, that allowed both mechs to get closer, unfortunately, Knockout's door opened in the other way. Ok, he had to admit it, everything couldn't be perfect in such a situation. *Don't think about it, just try to grab the door and jump in. If you fall, he will catch you, ok?*
The kid nodded nervously. He assured his bag on his back and jumped. He managed to grab the red door, but due to the high speed, he lost the grip, and fell backwards. The red Cybertronian reacted as soon as the kid stopped touching him. He transformed just in time to avoid Raf hitting the ground. He thanked that human had a bag, because without it he probably couldn't have saved him.
While they were in motion, the red Aston Martin transformed into a car again, leaving the kid on the copilot seat. "I got him." He informed the scout. He immediately put the seat belt to his new passenger, enough to secure him. "Welcome on board, kid. I know you know me, but I'm Knockout. You're Rafael, right?" He tried to break the ice. "Don't worry, we're gonna safe your guardian, and in few hour, you two will be at home, playing with your radio control car again."
Raf got shocked. That 'Con knew what he did with his guardian. Had he being watching them? Was it a trap? "How can I trust you? How do I know you're not gonna carry me to the Nemesis and let Bumblebee on his own?" The kid asked maturely.
"Because no cybertronian should face such a situation." The alien responded. "And because this is all my fault." He murmured.
