As she watched the millennium falcon fly into the distance she replayed their last conversation in her head.
"You know I just can't stay here and do nothing," Han said.
"But you can't stay here with me help my people? You know that is my duty," leia said.
You know I'm just not cut out for that kind of life. You knew who I was when we got together, Han said.
Leia scowled and looked up at the bad boy rapscallion she had once loved.
"Don't expect me to be waiting for you like some damsel in distress when you get back, fly boy."
Han looked at leia, the feisty princess he once loved was certainly no damsel in distress.
Just one more job I'll be back. Promise, he said.
"You always say that," she sighed, crossing her arms in front of her white puffy vest.
"Leia, I love you," he said, looking down at her steely brown eyes, his hand reaching towards her.
"I know," she said pulling herself away from his grasp.
Han let go of his untamable princess checked his hip for his blaster. He marched out the door and loaded himself and his crew into the millennium falcon. The ship roared into the distance leaving only a white streak in the fading purple sunset sky.
Leia was pulled out of her reprieve by the sound of rd2d2's beep boops.
"R2 tell c3po to run a bath for me," she said. He beeped in acknowledgement and rolled off into the distance.
Leia entered the bathroom, the floating infinity pool filled with warm water, steam and the sweet smell of plom blooms filled the air.
C3po held out a towel, "here you are mistress leia."
"Thank you C3po, just leave that on the counter,"Leia said.
"Of course mistress leia, I'll be waiting outside if you need anything."
"Thank you, but that's okay. I need to be alone, I have some business to attend to," she said.
"And take r2 with you," the princess added, a chuckle in her throat.
"Of course, Mistress Leia," C3po stammered awkwardly, robotically marching out of the room and closing the door behind him.
Leia looked into the mirror, her skin as pale and luminous as ever. She unwound her thick braids that wrapped around her head, long chestnut hair spilling onto her shoulders. She walked over the tiled floor to the bath, sliding herself into the hot steaming waters.
She closed her eyes, and let her mind wander off to days in the past.
She pictured his swift movements, his blaster coming in and out if his holster, his tight plants, the thrust of his hips and muscular upper body as he piloted their hunk of junk across the galaxy.
Feeling warm content inside, she sighed. She reached out to the counter, feeling the warm fuzz of the towel C3po had laid out for her.
Feeling the warm fuzz of the towel, her mind wandered to other places, that she often dared it not to go.
She brought the warm dampened towel up to her cheek, and pictured another warm soft hand that had once caressed her cheek.
He had always been there for them, loyal and true, a life debt repayed more than once over. A copilot, and loyal fighter, that has always been a companion to Han and a devoted friend to her.
AAARGHH!! She could almost hear the yells of that giant strong creature in the distance.
She opened hear eyes, feeling dazed, but content. Standing in front of her, was that giant muscular Wookiee, his large fuzzy frame towered over her. His warm brown eyes met hers. He slid his warm soft paw toward her face and touched her smooth cheek.
"Aaaarggh!!", he called out.
She smiled, "chewie, you're back."
"Urghh," he said quieter. Tilting his head and looking at the princess, floating in the opaque warm bath waters, clutching the towel.
A knowing look was shared between them, the eye contact broken, as Han swaggered and jumped his way into the room. He bounded into the room like an eager puppy, a dopey grin glued to his face.
"Jeez, chewie, what are you doing in here? I know you like to help buddy, but I thinnk leia can handle toweling off herself."
He smirked at his own joke, and grabbed the towel from his furry companion.
"Ran a nice warm bath for when I returned huh?"
Han smiled and ripped of his vest throwing it on the ground, undoing the thick belt of his tight pants and carefully removing his blaster from the holster, gently placing his precious weapon on the bathroom counter.
She smiled rufulley, "Of course, anything for my daring space pirate."
He laughed, "Now I wouldn't say pirate" and slung himself into the now tepid bath water.
He cozied up next to the princess, and she looked into his blue eyes and smiled a playfully grin, feeling the Luke warm water, she pictured another Warmer fuzzier creature's touch, as han's rough hands began to rub her shoulders.
