Dear Diary,

Third year really is exciting! So many more classes to take! I just love Care of Magical Creatures and Arithmancy; Muggle Studies is somewhat interesting too. Of course, Uncle Harry and Aunt Hermione know all about Muggles, but I wanted to learn for myself. I think I know the least about Muggles out of all of my cousins. Lucy probably knows less, of course, but she is just a little girl. Cousin Victoire is Head Girl this year; I think Dad will be quite disappointed if I'm not Head Girl in my year. At the very least, I'd better make prefect. I expect Louis would make prefect with me. Certainly not James; all he's ever up to is one prank after another. Not very responsible. Granted, some of them are a little fun...

Rose and Albus came to Hogwarts this year. Rose joined James, Louis, Fred and I in Gryffindor; Albus joined Victoire in Hufflepuff. There are now eight of us Weasleys at Hogwarts (well, James and Albus are technically Potters, but they're Weasleys in spirit). We're practically taking over the school! It's actually kind of a shame that we can't all be here at once; by the time Lucy, Lily, Hugo, and Roxanne get here, Victoire will be on to new things (possibly things related to Teddy Lupin, if I have heard correctly) and Dominique will already be in seventh year. Then again, all twelve of us in one place could be complete and utter chaos.

Chaos is pretty normal when we're all together. Christmastime must be so awful for the adults to manage. Not that it isn't great fun, for just about everybody involved. It's always at the Burrow, and usually everyone goes. A couple times we've gone to visit Mum's family, and there's always a couple years where someone goes to visit their other side of the family, but nobody wants to miss the celebration at the Burrow, or Grandmum's cooking. She really is wonderful. And I have her name; will I be expected to be a good cook as well? I hope not. I'm really dreadful at it.

What I am good at is Quidditch. I'm a Chaser for Gryffindor! Dad always says how he's amazed how good I am at Quidditch, considering he's rubbish. But Uncle Charlie, Uncle Fred, Uncle George, Uncle Ron, and Aunt Ginny all played for Gryffindor, so it shouldn't be that big a surprise. James plays too, of course. Seeker.

Oh goodness, I'm rambling. I should probably go and do my homework.

Later,

Molly Weasley II
