Dear Diary,
It's November now. It's getting colder and all that. The house really does feel rather empty. I still go to Grandmum and Granddad's every day, with Hugo and Lucy and Roxanne. That's fun. But when I get home, Daddy's usually not home yet and Mommy's usually still working, since she works from home. I know my brothers are very annoying, but I kind of miss having them around. Take-Your-Kid-to-Work Day was kind of fun; I got to go into the Ministry. But I didn't really get to see much cause it's 'classified' and all that.
James got in trouble for pulling a prank at Halloween; 'course he did, seems all James does is get in trouble. Why does he have to be so stupid? He also made sure we knew that Gryffindor won its first match of the season. Good for them. Sometimes it's like Quidditch and pranks are the only things he talks about.
On a more fun note, I still have candy left over from Halloween. I like Halloween. It was fun going trick-or-treating like Muggle kids. I wonder if we can do it next year, too. Then the year after that I'll be at Hogwarts! I'm so excited to go to Hogwarts.
