Chapter 4:
Andrea looked up when she heard her mother coming and hastily made the letter she was holding vanish. "Hello mother…" "Hello my darling, how are we feeling today?" Celestia looked at her daughter with deep concern. Andrea stood and started walking towards the entrance to the gardens, 'Oh mother, it still hurts. Every thought of mine is consumed by Jefferson's love and betrayal." Celestia walked with her daughter towards the giant flowing fountain in the garden's center. They sat down. "I know my dear, but I truly think it is for the best. I know you may not like it but I feel Jefferson may have a point." Andrea stared at her mother, eyes widening. "WHAT? How could you say that mother!?" Celestia stroked her daughter's long pink hair. "Well to be honest, I feel things were getting a bit serious too quickly for a girl your age. I know your personality and wisdom are beyond your years but when it comes to matters of the heart I sometimes think you are too quick to jump into things. You are 9 years old and have an eternity of life before you. I feel like you should have more experiences before you settle down. Now as far as Jefferson is concerned, I felt like he could have handled things better with my daughter than the way he did and I am upset with him about that. However, destiny tells me that there may be some chapters yet to be told between you two, but for now I think things should be put on hold." "But mother! Another woman is carrying his child! That should have been me! What is she compared to me but a mere mortal! I would have given him more than he could have fathomed! I love him so!" Celestia chuckled. "How could that have been you dear? Your body is not developed quite yet!" "You know I mean in the future,' said Andrea in an annoyed huff. "Ah…but my dear, the future holds something special regardless of this child, just you wait! I am not for certain what it is but I know everything will turn out for the best." Andrea scowled at her mother, then softened. Her mother was a goddess and knew so many things beyond her wildest imagination, there had to be truth to her words. "Mother what do you suggest I do about these feelings then? They burn my soul…" "Ah,' Celestia's eyes smiled and sparkled, 'I'm glad you asked!"
A week after Andrea had come to Mount Olympus, Celestia had left for a "business trip" in another realm. Andrea was not sure where she had been and as much as she prodded, her mother would not tell her a thing. "Andrea, I think now is the time I tell you where I went after you came here to see me." Andrea looked at her mother curiously as she continued to speak, "As you know I rule over many lands and realms. I visited one last week called Neverland." "Neverland? That's an odd name for a realm. What kind of land is it?" Andrea crossed her arms and continued to gaze at her mother. "It is a land young ones seek if they wish to stay the way that they are. Young forever. Never aging." "So…..young humans who seek immortality?" "Yes dear," Celestia continued, "but not only humans, fairies and few other creatures as well." Celestia waved her hand and an image of a young boy lingered in the air. The boy looked to be approaching his teenage years. He was strikingly handsome with sparkling emerald eyes and dirty blonde hair. His clothes were made of what appeared to be soft animal hide and were dyed a green color, matching his eyes. Andrea gazed at the image in wonder. "Who is that mother?" Her eyes grew wider as she took in the boy's appearance. Celestia's eyes twinkled again and smiled suggestively. "He is the ruler I appointed to the throne of Neverland. A king of sorts. His name is Peter Pan." Andrea raised her fingers to the image as if to stroke the boy's hair. The image dissipated. "Peter…..Pan?" "Yes. I met with him last week to discuss ...an arrangement." "Arrangement?" Andrea now became suspicious. What was her mother planning? "Andromeda dear, are you happy here with me?" Celestia cocked her head to one side. "I am not here often and am afraid that you get lonely. Jefferson expressed in that letter that you should find someone your own age to be with," Andrea opened her mouth to protest but her mother continued, stopping her, "and I agree with him. Sweetheart, like I said before this first relationship of yours has been put on indefinite hold. I think you need to try and move past it for your own good. I want you to be happy!" Andrea was starting to get angry, "I have friends! I am happy here with you mother! What are you up to? What are you planning?" "Andrea, dear, you can not lie to me. Your nymph friends are not allowed access to our realm. You don't visit them often." Celestia put her hand over her daughters. "Peter and I, came to an arrangement. He has invited you to stay in Neverland for as long as you would like. This was very generous on his part as he has few friends himself and does not do well with outsiders. I think this would be a great opportunity for your heart to heal and for you to have some new fun experiences. As my daughter, you will be highly revered in this realm, so there will be no issues for you." Celestia summoned the image of Peter again. "Please darling, give it a chance." Celestia smiled a pleading look at her daughter. Andromeda scowled at her mother, but then softened as she looked at the image of Peter. Was it just her, or was he staring at her, as if yearning to meet her? Andrea shook her head. Then gazed at her mother. There was a long pause. Andrea sighed. "Fine. You are right, it has been rather boring here as of late. I also am not the type to just sit around moping." Celestia started to grin. "That's right dear." "I will go with you to meet this ...Peter. When do we leave?"
After Andrea had agreed to meet Peter, her mother was ecstatic and went to talk with him right away. She told her daughter to just pack essentials and that anything else she may need can be handled by either her or Peter's powers and magic.
Celestia's POV
Celestia walked through her palace and into the Library. She walked all the way to the very back and touched a bookcase. The bookcase moved to reveal a staircase. At the end of the stairs was a spacious drawing room with a raised pool in the middle. The room was very beautiful, full of flowers and comfy lounge chairs. This was where Celestia would conduct her private communications with beings all across the realms. Celestia walked up to the pedestal and waved her hand over the water. Images of two men appeared in the pool. "Good afternoon gentlemen," Celestia said cooly. "Greetings your Majesty," said Peter as he bowed deeply. The other man nodded curtly, "Your Grace…." "I trust you two have had time to meet and become acquainted with one another?" Celestia raised an eyebrow. "Yes. I like Jefferson very much! I see all of this working out according to your wishes, your highness." Celestia looked at Jefferson and for a moment was taken aback. Jefferson's appearance looked drastically different from the last time she had seen him. Jefferson's hair had grown to his shoulders and looked a bit ragged. He had dark circles under his eyes and seemed to have lost some weight. However, despite all of this, his handsomeness covered most of it up. Jefferson looked to be pensive for a moment before responding. He sighed. "Celesita. I still love Andrea very dearly. I want her to be happy, but I think we all have come to the agreement that right now being with me is not for the best." "Yes, Jefferson, you have made that abundantly clear. If I may ask dear, is everything alright? You do not look yourself." Jefferson looked sullenly at the Goddess. Peter spoke up, "He lost his wife and is now a single father." Jefferson shot a scathing look towards the direction of Peter's voice, but remained silent. "Oh dear…..Jefferson I..I'm so sorry!" Jefferson looked up at Celestia's image, "She died giving birth to our daughter, this is my burden. I must find a way to move past this grief. My mind is currently going through turmoil. I still do not wish for Andrea to be dragged into my problems. She must not know of this." "Of course, and as heartbreaking as your situation is darling, I am afraid that events must proceed as planned," Celestia gave Jefferson a weak smile. Jefferson rubbed his hand over his face, "Pan and I did meet and have spoken, my Lady. I think he will be a good companion for Andrea until we can be united again….or well...until this ultimate plan of yours reaches it's so-called climax and resolution." Jefferson waved his hand.
Celestia grinned. "Wonderful! Peter, Andromeda has agreed to meet you. I am sure she shall be taken with you instantly." Peter chuckled, "You flatter me, your Majesty." Celestia winked at him. "All preparations have been made for her arrival and stay. Felix and I will graciously await your arrival on the shores of Neverland." Celestia happily nodded at Peter and once again offered condolences and well wishes for Jefferson. They bowed and expressed their goodbyes. Celestia then waved her hand and the pool became clear once more.
Okay okay….I know some of ya'll are like wait hold up…aren't peter and andrea related?! What is being implied here? So at the beginning of this story, i think i mentioned that some of this is gunna be a little weird because of the greek goddessness of andrea's heritage. If this is getting weird you can stop reading because cannon wise its just gunna keep getting weirder. If you do like my story and are open minded and love fantasy, romance, love, and whatnot thank you and keep reading. ^^ Chapter five will focus on Andrea's life in Neverland and may end with a time jump. Still brainstorming :)
