Dear Diary,

Sometimes I wonder how I ended up with the most insane family on the face of the planet. By the time we arrived at the Burrow, there was already chaos. Uncle Percy, Aunt Audrey, Molly, and Lucy were the only other ones there, but Lucy had set out to find her present from Grandmum and Grandad, and Aunt Audrey had accidentally knocked over the coat stand, which had hit the counter and spilled the soup that was cooking, and, well, things didn't exactly get less chaotic from there. Vic went to go help Grandmum with the soup, Mum went to try and calm down Aunt Audrey, who was apologizing profusely every five seconds, and Dad went to go find Lucy and stop her from snooping. That left Dom and I to help Grandad with the decorations, which was going fine until I dropped an ornament (I really am very accident prone), and at that exact second Uncle George, Aunt Angelina, Freddie, and Roxy showed up, which is never going to make a situation calmer. Roxy ran up to find Lucy and start their chaos tour, and Freddie set right out to plotting. And knocking ornaments off the tree. Uncle George got into a spat with Uncle Percy about some new Ministry policy. Then Charlie came; he didn't add much to the chaos, which was almost at peak levels now. Then Uncle Harry and Aunt Ginny showed up, which, well, they were mostly calm, but James... James teamed up with Freddie, which doesn't end well. Al went upstairs to go talk to Molly, and Lily decided she wanted to help us with the decorations. Which is a nice sentiment, but, well, she's nine and a little clumsy. So then, to top it all off, Uncle Ron and Aunt Hermione showed up just as James and Freddie set off a bunch of fireworks from the top floor. Rose started shrieking and Hugo hid behind the couch, Vic yelled at them, and then Grandmum said it was time for dinner.

What a day.

Later on Teddy showed up and after about ten minutes he and Vic headed outside. They're so totally officially dating, I don't care what they say. He's gonna be my brother-in-law one day.

So, Merry Christmas,

Louis W.
