(Open to Agar & Terra's Cafe where the two of them are serving out drinks.)
Agar: (pouring sugar) Here. Extreme Cappachico with a hint of paprika for Cathy. That ought to keep you warm.
(He gives it to Cathy)
Cathy: Thanks.
Terra: Say where's Alex at?
Sam: He had to stay at the clubhouse due to having a cold.
(Flashback to the inside of the clubhouse. Alex is busy working on his blaster when..)
Alex: (sniff) Heeuaahh!
(Paige & Juan are seen snickering at the sound Alex made. Paige even ends up mimicking it.)
Danny: What kind of a noise was that?
Alex: Heeuahh! Aahh! AAHH! CHOOOO!
(Alex's sneeze blankets the entire room with snow.)
Cathy: Here we go again.
Alex: Sorry guys. I honestly don't know why this is happening to me here of all places. I think it might be me just getting used to the seasonal change on this planet.
(Mr. Smith checks his temp)
Mr. Smith: Hmm.. You are a bit warm headed.
Alex: So it's just a temperature.
Mr. Smith: Well as far as I can tell. You probably just have the flu. Humans get it all the time.
Alex: If you say so. (Suddenly Alex's eyes start to glow a pink-ish color) Oh not again. Everything's gone pink.
Mr. Smith: Hm... That pink tint in your eyes isn't normal. I think that you should probably stay here until we can find out what's wrong with you. We couldn't afford to risk having an alien cold outbreak.
Alex: I guess you're right.
(End of flashback)
Chris: It took us more than an hour to get rid of all that snow.
Terra: Oh well we hope he gets better.
Danny: So do we. He's been rather helpful with missions as of late.
Agar: Uh huh..
(Chris looked outside, but then suddenly, he starts coughing & saw the statues looking like alien sculptures.)
Chris: Hey guys anyone notice something different with those statues over there?
Agar: What statues?
Chris: The one's right- (Chris rubbed his eyes and saw the buildings back to normal) over there.. That was weird.
Agar: What's weird?
Chris: I could've swore I saw some statues in the distance. (Chris looked at him and suddenly his eyes thought that Agar is Raga.) Raga?!
Agar: Where?!
Cathy: I don't see anything.
(Chris pulled out his blaster & pointed to Agar)
Sam: Chris!
Chris: I swear I saw Raga, he was right behind you.
Terra: But that's Agar! I can tell because Agar wears black!
Agar: Are you okay Chris?
(Chris then sees Terra as an Octovore & points his blaster at her)
Danny: Chris. What has gotten into you?
Chris: I-I don't know! (his eyes suddenly turned pink) Why is everything pink and weird?
Cathy: Oh no. I think Chris's got what Alex has.
(Meanwhile, outside a snickering could be heard. Later in the cafe, Mr. Smith is looking at Chris's eyes.)
Chris: What is wrong with me?
Mr. Smith: I.. Have no idea. After looking up what was wrong with Alex it turns out the two of you have contracted some rare disease.
Chris: Aw man! (He lays down on the table) But how can I even walk around, thinking that everything is like an illusion!
Mr. Smith: There's not very many ways to cure this type of disease. Most of the time those who have contained it have to fight it out. In short I can't just extract it out of your body like how I was able to back when the whole clubhouse was in quarantine.
Danny: In English please?
Sam: He doesn't know if he can cure either of them.
Chris: Oh man! But what about school? If I'm not there, things wont be great, and I wont get my graduation, or marriage, or even a job!
Mimi: Chris this isn't a permanent thing. Calm down.
Chris: It isn't?
Mr. Smith: Indeed. When I said I can't make you feel better I meant that the disease affects different species in different ways. In your case it is capable of distorting your vision to make you see things which aren't there.
Chris: And like how Alex manages to sneeze snow.
(Hear Alex sneezing as a gust of wind blows through the clubhouse.)
Mr. Smith: Hm... You might be onto something.
Alex: Achoo! (Alex eyes are pink like Chris) Oh no don't tell me that I got Chris sick.
?: Hu, Hu, hu.. You sure did. (A cat-like alien appeared in front of him) Hiyah!
Alex: Grr. What do you want now, Kat?
Kat: Oh nothing. Just thought I would meet the others, that's all.
Danny: Wait, you know this thing?
Alex: Not really, it just kind of appeared when you guys left to go see Terra & Agar.
(Juan is staring intensely at the alien in question)
Juan: Is it wrong for me to say that she looks kind of cute?
Kat: Oh..um.
Sam: What even is it & how did it come here?
Kat: Well I actually arrived after a Katchkohl'd named Mirage was brought down to your planet via a space rock.
(Flashback to see something falling out of the sky & land in front of the clubhouse.)
Alex: Wait you aren't talking about that one rock I found in the yard last night are you?
Kat: Yep.
Paige: So are you on our side or on the opposing side.
Kat: Neither, actually. I'm more or less what you would call neutral. But don't worry I mean you no harm.
Cathy: Well what about Mirage?
Kat: Obviously he's on the bad side. As for location he could be anywhere. He just might be in this very room as we speak.
?: You got that much correct, Kat.
(Mirage; a much bigger, gruff looking smoke cloud-like alien appears)
Kat: Mirage.
Mirage: And now that I am here I plan on spreading my disease through the entire town. Starting with the two that I have already infected.
Alex: What?! (he grabs his blaster & tries to shoot him)
Mirage: I'm afraid to tell you that's not going to work on me that easily. See us Katchkohl'ds are basically made of a vaporous like material. So simply using your toy guns isn't going to affect me.
Alex: Drat!
Mirage: And seeing that I am a part of Raga's plan this time, he wanted to make sure that you guys would be facing an opponent that you can't even lay a finger on.
Mimi: Figured it would be Raga behind this.
Sam: I'm getting tired of dealing with him!
Mirage: Why? Does it bother you, Missy?! Even though You cannot touch me.. I can do this. Watch as I take control of your friends before your eyes.
(Mirage uses his abilities to use Alex & Chris as puppets)
Alex: This is the Hypnaghoul all over again.
Chris: Well at least you know what is going on.
Mirage: After them!
(Mirage causes Chris's vision to distort as he sees everyone as enemies that they had fought in the past & have Alex pretty much be a snow launcher.)
Alex: Run!
(The gang run away, as Chris & Alex make chase for them with Mirage laughing through it all)
Paige: We need to find out a way to free them from Mirage's possession.
Danny: But how?
Kat: Perhaps I could help out with this.
Sam: You? You said Mirage created you. How do we even know that you're trustworthy?
Mirage: There you are!
Kat: Observe. (Kat produces a huge gust of wind to form an Ice Barrier.) That'll hold off your friends for now. But I can't say the same thing for Mirage. We should head out while we still can.
(See the puppet-ed Alex & Chris being controlled to break the ice down. When all of a sudden..)
Alex: I don't feel so good.
(Alex's laser vision kicks in, & melts the ice.)
Mirage: ha ha ha. How about a little disappearing act?
(He then vanishes)
Danny: He's turned invisible, Sam.. We can't seee-
(Danny is suddenly picked up.)
Mirage: Wow.. You humans are lighter than my aunt.
Danny: Hey put me down!
Mirage: Hehehe! (He juggles Danny)
Danny: Hey watch where you're picking me up from!
(Mirage drops Danny into Franky's arms)
Franky: Well then.
Danny: Heh..
Mirage: (uses Chris to blast them)
Sam: Simply puppeteering our friends isn't going to stop us.
Mirage: Maybe but what if I did this.
(Mirage then causes Alex to sneeze making the floor comparable to an ice rink)
(The gang then starts to slip around on the ice)
Danny: Woahh! I'm bad at skating!
(See Speedy just simply striding along)
Speedy: I don't see a problem with it. You just need to have balance that's all.
Danny: Show off.
Mimi: (slips down) Grr! (stomps, breaking the ice)
Mirage: Sheesh talk about an Ice Breaker. Well I've had enough fun with you guys, I'm off to find a bigger host to manipulate. (He lets go of Alex & Chris) Tootles.
Kat: Are you two okay?
Alex: Ahh AHH-CHOO!
(Alex's sneeze makes Kat looks like she is made of snow.)
Chris: Well it looks like Alex is still sick.
Kat: Yeah that might be due to me being here. While I can't really control bodies like Mirage can I do make his disease symptoms last a lot longer by being able to control the weather.
Danny: I wonder what Mirage meant by finding a bigger host?
Kat: He must be looking for other people that were infected while around either Chris or Alex.
Alex: Well I was here the whole time, so I wouldn't be of much help. Heck with you guys around me I'm surprised how all of us aren't sick.
Chris: Wait the only people we've been in contact with outside of the clubhouse were Terra & Agar.
Mr. Smith: That's not good. If Mirage comes into contact with Agar he could possibly turn into an unstoppable killer-weapon.
Juan: Guys we need to head to my Aunt's house quickly.
Mr. Smith: I'll make sure that things around this half of town are safe from Mirage's virus.
Alex: Are you sure you will be okay Uncle Hugo?
Mr. Smith: I'll be fine. Also if I succumb to the illness myself I have the equipment to be rid of it. Don't worry it won't be the first time I had to deal with getting rid of an alien virus.
Alex: What do you mean?
Danny, Cathy, Sam & Chris: It's a long story.
(Meanwhile Terra is putting a sick Agar to rest.)
Agar: Who's going to deal with the clean up work.
Terra: Just leave that to me, Agar. You just rest now.
Agar: Okay. (Terra leaves the room. We then cut a couple hours ahead where Agar's eyes begin to glow pink.) Gahh! My head!
(He starts to grow fangs & become more beast-like)
Juan: Aunt Terra we need you to come over here as quick as you can!
Terra: Why?
Cathy: We found out what has made Chris & Alex sick.
(Kat appears)
Kat: And we believe that it has got a hold of Agar too.
Terra: Wait a minute you're a Katchkohl'd. That means.
(here Agar roaring & bust down a wall.)
Juan: We should run.
(The group run as a sick driven Agar chases after them)
Terra: Not again!
Speedy: Wait you mean this has happened before?
Terra: Agar got sick from a Katchkolh'd a few decades ago when we met at camp.. Marshmallows was the only way we could treat him until we could actually do something about it.
Alex: Did you say Marshmallows?
Terra: Yeah.
Alex: I think I remember there being some of those back at the clubhouse in my room.
Danny: Why did you have marshmallows in your room?
(Alex looks over at Cathy)
Alex: Let's just say that it's someone's favorite fruit.
Cathy: eh heh. (Blushes)
Danny: Never mind.
(Agar howls & runs after Terra. Mirage appears riding on top of Agar as a mount.)
Mirage: Onward!
Terra: He's getting closer!
Kat: I got this.
(Kat produces a barricade of twisters to slow down Agar.)
Juan: Thanks.
Kat: No problem.
(Cut back to the clubhouse where the gang find it a complete mess)
Sam: What happened here!?
(Alex notices some markings on some furniture)
Alex: Hey Cathy aren't those scratch marks similar to Rhapsodian scratch marks?
Cathy: Yeah. I hope Grandpa is okay.
(A shady figure stands in the distance masked in darkness.)
?: (Growls)
Alex: Uncle Hugo?!
Kat: That's not Mr. Smith anymore.
(Out comes a Primitive Mr. Smith in his Rhapsodian form & Casanuva Vine both under the control of Mirage.)
Mirage: Ha ha ha~ You're too late Monster Busters! (Mirage Appears) I'm afraid even your commander has fallen under my quarantine. And I am one step ahead of you once again.
Kat: You aren't going to get away with this.
Mirage: Oh, Kat you should've stayed back with the others on Raga's ship, like a good little girl.
Kat: I'm not you're little girl anymore, dad!
MBC: Dad!?
Mirage: Don't you dare call me that! I brought you in when you were no bigger than an atom. I taught you how to use your gift in the ways that would benefit you & as well as those close to you. At a time you were family to me. But you gotten older. You became rebellious & independent, defied my work as criminal & vowed to make sure you put an end to it. Since then you have lost the right to refer to me as your father. (Agar enters as the entrance is blocked off soon afterward.) I will see to it that you & your friends will not be going anywhere!
Cathy: The other exit! (Then the gang tried to exit, but Mirage blocked all of them)
Mirage: No escaping, you scaredy-cats!
(Some bookshelves move by themselves to block off another exit)
John: (trying to call Chris) Chris? Hello?
(The phone started to glitch, as well as the others)
Chris: John!
John: (Static) Chris, are you o-? The Clu-ouse i- sta-ting to fl-t int- the ai-!
(Pan out to see the Clubhouse has become airborne)
Cathy: This is really starting to feel like déjà vu.
Chris: Last time the Clubhouse lifted off it was due to Cathy, Sam, Danny & I being in quarantine.
(Paige looks over at mirage.)
Paige: Wait a minute. Mirage's movements are viral. Perhaps he can be dealt with the same way that virus was.
Danny: We better hurry!
Speedy: What about Agar? We still need to find those Marshmallows to make sure he's stabilized.
Cathy: I got this! We need to Out-Mirage Mirage...
Mirage: Too late, Monster Losers!
(He shot an energy blast at them)
Kat: Get away from them!
(Kat pushes Mirage out of the way causing the magic to bounce off towards a mirror & then back at him.)
Mirage: Gah!
Franky: Heh the old mirror reflect tactic.
Juan: Kat!
(Pan over to see Kat laying on the floor)
Kat: Don't worry I'll be fine. You guys deal with the pawns. I'll take care of my father.
(cut back to Alex who is being backed into a corner with Mr. Smith & Casanuva Vine about to end him.)
Alex: Never thought this would be how it happens. (sniff) huh? I guess I still got a bit of that head cold. (Alex then see the device used to get rid of alien viruses & comes up with an idea) Uncle Hugo. Stay back! I'm Heeuaahh, warning you! (Mr. Smith & Casanuva Vine lunge at him when..) Ahh- CHOO!
(Alex let's out a huge sneeze which envelops the entire neighborhood with snow as well as freezing the feet of & Casanuva Vine. Alex then grabs the device & gets rid of the virus.)
Mr. Smith: Nuggh! What's going on? Why am I frozen to the floor?
Alex: It's a long story. (He turns to the others) Any luck on finding those Marshmallows?
Sam: Not yet.
(Cathy sees the marshmallows. Agar starts to run towards her, mouth open-jawed ready to bite.)
Cathy: Take this.
(She contorts her arm to make a dart blower & shoots one of the Marshmallows into Agar's mouth. Alex then get a virus remover over to Agar, reverting him back to normal.)
Agar: Mmmph~ Marshmallows~
Cathy: Welcome back, Agar.
Agar: What happened?
Terra: a Katchkohl'd sent you on a rampage.
Agar: I'm so sorry.
Juan: Guys. We're not out of the woods yet. Look!
(Kat & Mirage are still fighting)
Mirage: Just give up Kat! There's not a chance at all you have that will let you overcome my power.
Kat: I'm not going to let your savageness harm anyone! Even if it means the end to both of us!
Mirage: Oh? Then so be it!
(Mirage forms a weather blade & uses it to stab Kat.)
Kat: JEUAH!
Juan: NO! (The blade is drawn back out of Kat as she floats down in an emotionless state) Kat.
Kat: Juan, I'll be fine. Trust me.
Mirage: Quit your moping!
Juan: Okay now you're going to get it!
Mirage: And how do you plan on doing that when I'm practically untouchable?
Juan: You are basically water. (Juan turns his blaster into Alex's Shock-n' Snatch & shoots Mirage with an electro-ball, allowing for easy capture.) Water is able to be electrified.
Kat: You did it!
Juan: Kat you're alive.
(The two hug it out.)
Chris: Well that takes care of that but now how do we get back to Earth?
John: (On phone) I think I got that under control.
(John then programmed the clubhouse which make it land on Earth. Cut to a Rhapsodian ship landed by the clubhouse with Kat being one of the passengers.)
Kat: Well I guess I should be going. After all I think it would be the best that I turned in my father to your commander.
Juan: If you wish you can come on back whenever you like.
Alex: Just don't be a stranger.
Kat: Okay. Thanks for everything.
(Kat boards the ship as it leaves)
Chris: At least we're on Earth now.. And by the way, we might need to stitch some chairs and fix some tables...
(Then the next day at School..)
Chris: Ahhh~ Everything's back to normal.
Sam: Yeah.. Even though, everything is not what it seems.. Even reality.
Cathy: (eats a piece of cookie)
Sean: Hey Cathy.
Cathy: (blushes) S-sean!
Sean: Is it alright if I sit next to you?
Cathy: S-sure. Go ahead!
(When he sat, he smiles at Cathy)
Danny: Something tells me that Cathy is lovesick for Sean.
All: (laughs)
