Rising Breakdown Sphere EPISODE IX: EPILOGUE: The Journey Ends
Chapter 1: To Save The World
The group walked up the mountain and looked down seeing the valley and in the middle was the tall massive steampunk machine, Alexander.
"Woah." Sasori said with his eyes widening.
"It's big." Konan said.
"That's what she said- hahaha!" Pain laughed.
"Hahaha!" Hidan laughed as well.
Everyone glared at them.
"S-sorry." Pain said and shut his mouth.
"Not to change the subject but isn't tomorrow like New Years?" Itachi asked.
"Say it is tomorrow, which makes today New Year's Eve." Kakuzu said.
"Then let us celebrate by saving the world." Aizen said.
Suddenly they felt another earthquake and nearby on the mountains was lava pouring out.
"I take it lava is spilling everywhere else on the planet?" Aizen asked looking to Ymir.
"That's right. Soon the ground will crack and flood everywhere with lava, then the planet explodes." Ymir said.
"We don't have long then." Itachi said.
"Either a new year to save or a new year of death." Kisame said.
They walked down the mountain together and noticed some destroyed magitek robots.
"What are those?" Hidan asked.
"Magitek Robots. They must guard Alexander since well, he's the big robot thing." Itachi said.
"Alexander is considered the first and only giant steampunk being with it's own conscience." Aizen said.
"How do you know this?" Kisame asked.
"From a book I read." Aizen said.
"So can you explain more about this sphere thing?" Zangei asked.
"As the legend says it can grant anyone their heart's desire, breaking down that desire into reality. Hence the name Breakdown Sphere. It's a sphere-like object from what the books say." Aizen said.
"Where did it come from?" Dreekmy asked.
Before Aizen said anymore his linkshell ringed and he answered it turning it on speaker.
"We are okay." Aizen replied.
"Sir, Varrock has experienced a few Earthquakes and lava is coming out of the ground. We are moving residents somewhere safer but it seems there is no other safe place around." A Varrock Guard said on the linkshell.
Do not get scared but the planet is falling apart. Guthix is dead. However, we have found a way to possibly save the planet." Aizen said.
"One of our scientists thought that was the case and now they are debating on using the only spacecraft that is near Al Kharid." The guard said.
Aizen looked at Jessica then spoke.
"I want my daughter on that vessel just in case." Aizen said.
"Sir, many people are crowding to get into it. It can only seat fifty people. And no one knows it's origin or how to operate it." The guard said.
"I do not care, I want my daughter in that vessel, that is an order." Aizen said.
There was a pause.
"Yes, sir I will try." The guard said and hung up.
Aizen sighed looking back at Zetsu.
"You want us to make sure she gets on the vessel do you." The white half of Zetsu said.
Aizen nodded.
Zetsu nodded and sank into the ground.
"Wait." Starrk said.
Zetsu waited being halfway out of the ground with the wave of energy circling him.
"Lord Aizen, I should go with him in case there is a struggle. If it is the only way off this planet then there will be probably a fight going on." Starrk said.
Aizen looked at him and nodded and then gave him a tight hug along with Jessica.
"Keep her safe." Aizen said.
"Yes, sir." Starrk said.
"Thank you Starrk." Jessica said.
"Starrk, take this." Kakuzu said walking up and handing him the sunstone from the old ruin castle up in the Wilderness.
"Did you steal that?" Aizen asked.
"You know the answer." Kakuzu said.
Starrk took it looking at it with a cocked eyebrow.
"It gives energy out. Might need it in case that ship loses power." Kakuzu said.
"Right this is a valuable source of energy as well." Starrk said with a nod.
Jessica kept hugging Starrk and then let go after a few seconds and wiped some tears from her eyes.
"I promise you two, she will be safe." Starrk told them.
"Don't go sleeping on the job." Aizen joked.
Starrk grinned and walked over to Zetsu and climbed into the circle of energy and held onto Zetsu.
"Alright hang tight." The black half of Zetsu said.
They both teleported from view.
"Norman, Beverly, why didn't you two go with them?" Aizen asked.
"This is the world we are talking about." Norman said.
"We are right behind you." Beverly said.
"I just tagged along and I feel like I've known you all for years now." Zaeed said with a shrug.
Aizen looked at everyone left and nodded to them and pointed to Alexander in the distance.
"Let's go save my planet." Aizen said.
"Our." Gin said.
"Our planet- damn it Gin don't ruin the moment." Aizen said.
In front of Alexander, Karura approached looking for an entrance and suddenly turned around with her left hand extended out.
Walking out of the bushes was Pendrak.
Pendrak survived the fight over a year ago.
"So you too are wanting the power inside." Pendrak said.
Pendrak had a bow of sorts with poison arrows and already had it aimed at Karura who had her left palm aimed at him ready to spark lightning at him.
"How about this, whoever survives the possible traps and guardians inside of this monster of a machine will get the sphere." Karura said.
"Sounds fair but I could just kill you now." Pendrak said.
"Fine do it. Perhaps you can best your luck with arrows versus metal machines." Karura said.
Pendrak scoffed.
"What I thought." Karura said.
Pendrak lowered his bow and sighed walking up beside her and both looked for an entrance together.
"I'm the boss by the way." Karura said.
"Yeah yeah, I figured." Pendrak said.
They found an entrance at one of the feet of Alexander and forced it open and walked in.
"Stay close, the machinery is steaming which means it's still operating." Karura said.
Pendrak noticed the lights on inside.
"What do I get for helping you?" Pendrak asked.
"We can discuss that when we find the sphere and we draw our weapons to one another again." Karura said.
Pendrak just rolled his eyes.
The two walked in and watching them was the Plague Doctor who walked a few yards behind them not to draw attention.
