(Open to Singletown high school, Cathy is reading a book of ghosts)
Cathy: Hmm.. Yo-kai?
(Mimi enters the room.)
Mimi: Hey Cathy.
Cathy: Oh hi Mimi.
(She looks at the book)
Mimi: What are you looking up?
Cathy: Oh I'm just looking up info on Japanese folklore for an assignment in history class. Apparently there are these creatures by the name of Yo-kai.
Danny: Why should people believe in this stuff?! We're not babies.
Alex: Expect the unexpected Daniel.
Danny: Hey!
Alex: What? I'm just saying there could be some out there. (He points at Cathy, Mimi, & himself) If Aliens could exist surely the possibility of Yo-Kai existing as well might not be that far off.
Danny: Yo-kai are folktales that tell worries and problems of a human if you do a wrong-doing
MBComputer: Alien detected.
Alex: Location?
MBComputer: Downtown Singletown Fish market.
Cathy: Isn't that place always busy?
Alex: Yeah.. Let's go check that out!
(In the Fish market, Raga is searching around for something.)
Raga: Where is it?! (looks at the muffled humans he knocked out) Grr, humans are so dumb with their resources! (He then becomes overwhelmed with energy as he sees a car pass by) You got to be kidding me.
(Raga walks outside as we see the MBC watching him behind a bush.)
Alex: What's Raga doing standing the road like that? He's gonna get hit by a truck.
Cathy: Probably looking for a weapon or something.
(A car goes to run at Raga when it's stopped by an unknown force.)
Danny: How is he doing that?
Cathy: I don't think he is. Look.
Raga: Wha?! (then suddenly, a Cat-like Yo-kai with two tails appears)
?: Take this you metal monster! (the Yo-kai starts hitting the vehicle more & more as Raga walks out from behind it & picks it up.)
Danny: Is that what I think it is?
Cathy: A Yo-kai.
?: Hey! Let me go, you weirdo!
(Alex looks through the book Cathy has)
Alex: Ah. It says here that this Yo-kai goes by the name of Jibanyan. It as once an ordinary cat but then it got hit by a speeding vehicle. And now it hates the things, vowing to get even with them.
Cathy: Man, for someone his size, he's strong.
Raga: (scanning Jibanyan) Hmm.. Auras.. Just what I needed. (traps Jibanyan in a vessel)
?: Jibanyan! Whisper!
(A human boy, wearing a red shirt and brown shorts, comes out)
Raga: Huh?! A human?!
?: Jibanyan. Hey, let my friend go!
Raga: You know this thing?
?. (using his watch) What are you anyway?
Alex: Hey kid. Get away from him! He's extremely dangerous!
?: What? (The MBC run over to him) Who are you guys?!
Mimi: That's none of your concern.
?: Wait.. Are you.. Aliens?!
Danny: I think we should be asking if you are. We haven't seen you around here before.
?: Well, whatever, that alien got- Hey! Where did he go!
(Raga vanished into thin air just as the others arrive)
Sam: We came as soon we heard! (She looks at the mystery kid) And you are?
Nate: Huh? I'm Nate Adams.
Paige: Hey my last name is Adams.
Nate: Wait, you are?
Paige: Oh my name's Paige.
Nate: Nice to meet you.
?: Nate! Over here!
Nate: Whisper! I thought you were captured!
(Look over at a gumball machine)
Whisper: Well I technically am right now! Someone get me out of here.
Nate (facepalms): Ugh not this again.
Paige: I got this.
Nate: How?
(Paige inserts a coin into the machine & out comes a capsule)
Nate: Why didn't I think of that?
(Paige opens the seal & releases Whisper)
Whisper: I'm free! Oh thank you, ever so much for freeing me. Charmed!
Paige: You're welcome?
Nate: Anyways, that's Whisper. My Yo-kai... "Companion"
Danny: So he's a Yo-kai?
Whisper: Indeed.
Nate: And who is that alien that captured Jibanyan?!
Sam: That would be Raga.
Nate: Raga?
(Paige looks down at Nate's wrist)
Paige: Hey that watch looks pretty cool.
Nate: Thanks. It allows me to see Yo-kai.
Danny: (looks at Whisper) Then how can we see him?
Whisper: Must be the weird waves that alien blasted on us. We were in Springdale, but that rat-alien teleported us here.
Alex: Renzat!
Nate: You see. We aren't exactly from this world.
Alex: So you are aliens?
Nate: No..
Whisper: What my friend here means is we come from another dimension separate from yours.
Nate: Yeah. (Nate pulls out medals from his pocket) Come on.. Where is it? There it is. (he pulls out a Robonyan medal) Perhaps this will help us. (Nate looks at Whisper) Let's just hope I can still use them here. (he swings his arm in a certain way causing a glowing light to appear) Come on out my friend (flips the medal into the air) Calling Robanyan! Yo-kai medal do your thing! (He inserts the medal into the watch.)
Yo-Kai Watch: Summoning Tough!
(Robanyan comes out from a Portal while the tough tribe chant is played)
Robanyan: Robanyan!
All: Woah!
Danny: How did that just-
(Danny passes out in confusion)
Nate: Is he going to be okay?
Paige: Give him a few hours or so. He'll come to.
Robonyan: Greetings, Nate.
Whisper: Robanyan, try to see if you can locate Jibanyan for us.
Robonyan: Locating.. Locating.
(suddenly another Yo-kai appears)
?: Oh my swirls. How do I get out of here?
Nate: Hey isn't that Komasan?
Chris: Koma-who?
(Alex shows him the book that Cathy was reading & turns to the page where Komasan appears)
Alex: Ah, Komasan. It says here he is the incarnation of the Lion dog.
Komasan: Nate!
Whisper: How did Komasan get here? I thought it was just us three.
Komasan: A figure kidnapped my brother! That portal you guys came from is also bringing in more Yo-kai over to here.
Cathy: If we don't do something Singletown is going be infested with Yo-kai Mayhem.
Komasan: That Yo-kai figure was faster than a Roadrunner in Rio Grande!
Alex: I'm afraid that is no Yo-kai.
Komasan: What is that tarnation?
Cathy: He's an alien. Much like how some of us are.
(Alex & Cathy reveal their alien forms)
Komasan: Oh my swirls! I thought Aliens were the talk of make believe.
(Komasan passes out in fear)
Cathy: Is he gonna be okay?
Nate: Give him a few hours. He'll come to.
(Cut back to the clubhouse where Komasan is eating an Ice Cream Cone)
Mr. Smith: so what you are saying is you came from another dimension separate from this one & that rift is currently bringing in more Yo-kai as we speak?
Whisper: From what Komasan has told us it seems to be the case.
Nate: Woah! Look at these!
Mr. Smith: Hey don't mess with those!
Nate: Sorry, Mr. Smith.
?: Gah!
Danny: What was that?
(See Manjimutt being chased by Casanuva Vine)
Sam: Oh my gosh!
Chris: Who is he?!
Mr. Smith: Casanova, get away from Manjimutt!
(Casanova Vine stops chasing him)
Manjimutt: Oh thank you Mr. Smith.
Mr. Smith: No problem.
Speedy: Wait, you know this thing?
Manjimutt: I'm no thing. I'm a Yo-kai!
(Cathy looks through the book & spots a Yo-kai which looks like a dog with the face of a man)
Cathy: hm.. It says here that Manjimutt has such a huge amount of power that it allows for people to see him.
Nate: He's also a womanizer. And a rather bad one at that.
Manjimutt: eh he. (showing his teeth while smiling as a sweat bead goes down his face)
Cathy: And who is that?
(She points to B3-NK1)
Danny: (pulling out his blaster on stand by)
B3-NK1: Hey hey hey. Put the gun down! I'm on your side.
Danny: Then why are you stealing screws from the MBComputer?
B3-NK1: Oh that. Collecting screws is kind of a hobby of mine. You see I incorporate screws into my sword here to improve its capabilities.
Danny: Uh huh
Franky: Yeah yeah, that's nice & all but we didn't need your life story.
Nate: (sighs and walks outside)
B3-NK1: Hey! You take that back!
Franky: (Gasp) I am so sorry I kind of got a little overwhelmed & my mouth just kind of moved on its own.
(See Tattletell hanging off of Franky's chin)
Franky: Gah!
Danny: let me guess. Another Yo-kai?
Tattletell: Tell tell (Turn the page)
(He takes the book from Cathy & sees Tattletell in it)
Danny: yep. And you also make people speak their mind.
Alex: Hey where did Nate go?
Whisper: I think he headed outside.
(Cathy walks to Nate.)
Cathy: What's wrong, Nate?
Nate: N-nothing.. It's that.. I miss Jibanyan..
Komasan: I hope my brother's okay too.
Alex: What does your brother look like, Komasan?
Komasan: Well he kind of looks like me but is Brown & Orange instead of Blue & White
Nate: Look. Everyone's so worried about the others, but...
Whisper: Well.
Paige: What is it Nate?
Nate: It seems like no one even cares to help us get back home. And now that Jibanyan went & got kidnapped I am more worried than ever. Jibanyan is my closest Yo-kai. I made him my friend.
Sam: Well we'll try to do all that we can to get him back.
Nate: You really mean it?
Danny: You bet.
Robonyan: Nate. I have located Jibanyan
Nate: where is he?
Robonyan: He is at the forest, near a spaceship. Along with Komasan's brother, Komojiro & many others.
Komasan: Komojiro!
Speedy: What are we waiting for? Let's go! MBC, POWER UP!
Nate: Hey I have an idea.
(Nate summons Mirapo)
Mimi: So how is this guy going to help us?
(Cathy looks at Mirapo in the book & reads about how it can transport things from one place to another just by putting them through its mirror.)
Cathy: We can trust him
(Then at the forest.)
Raga: (experimenting on Jibanyan)
(See Roughraff in another container)
Roughraff: Hey! Let me out of this cramped box, you weird freak! You better let me out of here!
Raga: I'm sorry but I'm afraid to tell you that you are a part of an experiment that I must perform. Along with many others.
(See that he has also managed to capture Baku, Walkappa, Cadin, Dismerelda, Insomni, Pandle, Hungramps, Kyubii, & Tengloom)
Raga: You see, I heard all about you.. Yo-kai. I heard that you have invincible powers when there are one of each element. you got the ability to summon even powerful versions of yourself. And with that power, I can be unstoppable.
Mirapo (teleporting everyone over to the forest): That should be everyone.
Whisper: There is his ship! Okay, I got a plan. (he goes on to do some confusing hand language leaving the others in a blank stare of confusion) (facepalms) Look, we distract Raga & when he isn't looking we free the other Yo-Kai.
Nate: Okay.. But who is gonna distract him?
(They all look at Manjimutt & Komasan)
Manjimutt: Wait.. I don't like the look of your faces.
Komasan: Me neither.
(Meanwhile.)
Raga: Now for the shock. (he presses a button, which releases a shock to the trapped Yo-Kai & turning them into aura.)
(Renzat comes over)
Renzat: I brought more of them sir.
(See Renzat has captured Cheeksqueak, Buhu, Babblong, Noko, Brushido, Blazion, Noway, & Palisol)
Raga: Perfect.
?: We'll be taking those.
(see Yoink & Peckpocket snatching the trapped Yo-kai)
Raga: What the-?!
Renzat: (grabs a blaster) Drop them!
Yoink: Ne neh ne neh neh!
(Manjimutt & Komasan watch from a distance)
Komasan: Well that just made our work a bit easier.
Manjimutt: Yeah! (then he accidentally dropped a vessel)
(Raga turned to them)
Raga: Renzat deal with those two.
Renzat: Yes sir! (Renzat is about to snag them when..) ow ow ow ow ow
(See Venoct hitting Renzat with his soultimate)
Venoct: (to Manjimutt & Komasan) Run while you still can!
Raga: What's going on?!
(Then The MBC came)
Nate: Give me back my Yo-kai friends, Raga!
Raga: Ha! (guzzles down all the aura, as he does so he becomes bigger & stronger)
Whisper: That can't be good!
Raga: RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAGANYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!
Sam: Really?
Nate: Did he just fuse with all of those Yo-kai?
Sam: Due to the name... Yes.
(Raganyan smashed the ground. See a talisman appear it the bottom right corner with Raganyan written on it)
Raganyan: Now I'm unstoppable. Nyan!
Nate: Jibanyan!
(Raganyan's roaring causes the other capsules to break freeing the Yo-kai within them)
Raganyan: (evil laugh)
Renzat: Sir get a hold of yourself! You're going crazier than what you normally do.
(Raganyan starts to go on an uncontrollable rampage)
Nate: Run!
Juan: no need to say it twice.
(They ran, as Raganyan smashed the ground, creating an earthquake)
Alex: He's heading into Singletown!
Nate: We need to stop him!
Alex: (grabs a giant, bazooka-like blaster) Meet One-Blast, everyone! I made him just in case! We need to hit it right at the orb!
Venoct: He's too far away for the weapon to take effect.
Manjimutt: Perhaps another distraction could work.
(They all look at Renzat)
Renzat: (gulp)
(Mimi grabs Renzat.)
Mimi: Here huge cat thing. How about a delicious mouse?
(She threw Renzat at Raganyan.)
Renzat: Ahhh! (he thumped at the orb, as it flew up. Raganyan started to unfuse)
Raga: Ah! (falls down)
(Alex blasts the orb)
(Jibanyan & the other Yo-kai are freed)
Nate: Jibanyan!
Jibanyan: Nyate!
(Jibanyan landed on Nate)
(Nate smiled and laughed. All the while Raga and Renzat are in the process of trying to escape)
Jibanyan: Oh nyo you don't! Paws of fury!
(Raga & Renzat are hit multiple times & then are sent flying after one fell smack)
Sam: Wow!
(Jibanyan blows the smoke off of his paws)
Juan: No wonder why Raga fused with him.
Alex: Yeah. Jibanyan's powers are strong.. Very.
(Jibanyan heads over to Danny)
Jibanyan: It's a good thing your friends came over when they did nyan.
Danny: Hey I'm not Nate.
Jibanyan: You look exactly like him nyan
(Nate & Danny stand next side by side & look at each other)
Both: Nah! I don't see it.
Sam: So where would this portal that you came from be at?
(Then a portal appeared)
Nate: I guess this is it.
Paige: Nate hold on.
Nate: What is it?
(She give Nate an MBC badge)
Paige: That way you wont forget about us.
Nate: Thanks.
(He puts the badge in his Yo-kai medallium)
Nate: Bye guys.
(Nate & the other Yo-kai enter the portal)
(Then the next day at school.)
Cathy: And so, Yo-kai aren't scary or cursed. They are there for people they love.
(The class applaud her. Cathy bowed.)
Mr. Fusster: Bravo, Ms. Smith. Where did you get that information?
Alex: Let's just say she had some help.
Mark: Pfft. As if. Yo-kai aren't real. (Then he suddenly picks his nose.) What the- Hey! I'm not doing it! (keeps picking his nose)
Wendy: Ew..
Students: Gross.
(Cathy saw a Yo-Kai behind Mark. Snottle is giggling.)
Mark: What's happening to me?
(Cut to the Marathon logo)
