Chapter 5: Breakdown
They walked into a control room and in the middle inside of a globe with electric currents zapping it was a glowing blue sphere.
"That's it." Mark said.
"Our key to saving the planet." Aizen said walking toward it.
"Not so fast." Karura said walking around a pillar with Pendrak beside her.
"How the hell are you alive?" Hidan asked Pendrak.
"Heh, wouldn't you like to know." Pendrak said aiming his bow.
"How come you were waiting for us and not taking the sphere for yourself?" Aizen asked.
"It's trapped, one move and we could hit the time portal mechanics. We are looking for a way to get it out." Karura said.
Everyone had their weapons out and just looked at Karura and Pendrak.
"You killed my friends." Jessica growled.
"War hurts." Karura replied.
Suddenly the machine worked on its own and everyone looked at it glowing.
Everyone noticed a portal opening in the room near some electric panels.
"It's a time portal." Mark said.
"We didn't activate it?" Aizen said.
Suddenly there was a current of wind that tried to suck them into it.
Pendrak couldn't hold onto anything in time and he was sucked into the time portal.
The portal disappeared afterward.
The Plague Doctor walked around the corner with his hand on a remote device.
"Who are you?" Pain asked.
"Aizen, you never told them about me?" The Plague Doctor asked.
Everyone looked at Aizen.
"I saw you two talking one day." Jessica said.
"How the hell did you get here?" Karura asked.
"Nice to see you too Karura." The Plague Doctor said.
"I have risked everything to get this far, I won't let you ruin my chance to save this planet, to free us from starvation!" Karura shouted.
The Plague Doctor chuckled and pushed a button that summoned the time portal which immediately sucked Karura inside.
"Aizen!" Karura yelled.
The portal closed.
"Now it's just us." The Plague Doctor said.
The Plague Doctor threw the remote device across the room making it shatter and then electrical currents zapped around the room uncontrollably.
"What the hell!" Pain shouted ducking low.
"Everyone down!" Gin yelled.
The Plague Doctor kicked the globe into pieces and grabbed the Breakdown Sphere.
"No!" Aizen shouted.
"At last, I have the power to cure all things! I am the cure!" The Plague Doctor shouted.
Lightning sparked everywhere and the machine was rumbling with steam popping out of the pipes.
"I wish to-" The Plague Doctor began to say until Aizen jumped onto him.
Both men rolled on the floor and Aizen punched the Plague Doctor across the face breaking his mask off.
He was a man with light blonde hair and yellow glowing eyes.
The Plague Doctor kicked Aizen away and held his hands out toward everyone and sent out a strange poison of sorts that turned into tar and connected to everyone's skins.
Kisame immediately used a water jutsu to clean everyone's bodies just in time before an injection of poison would be inflicted.
The Plague Doctor quickly evaded Gin and Hidan's close attacks.
"Now I'm tired of this!" The Plague Doctor shouted.
He clutched the orb tightly.
"I wish for-" The Plague Doctor began to say till he was sliced across his chest.
"Da-damn!" The Plague Doctor yelled painfully.
Then he clapped his hands together summoning raven birds that flew around everyone and began to peck them with poisonous beaks.
Pain created a repulse shinra tensei and blasted them away.
Chayd and Dreekmy ran at The Plague Doctor readying their crossbows.
"I wish for them to die!" The Plague Doctor yelled.
The sphere flashed and suddenly Chayd and Dreekmy turned into ashes.
"No!" Kisame yelled.
Deidara threw a clay art bomb and set it off but the Plague Doctor evaded it quickly with some of his robe torn and exposed his left arm up to his shoulder.
The Plague Doctor held his right hand up into the air and suddenly a black sphere appeared and it began to discharge a poison that surfaced around the room quickly.
Everyone choked and couldn't breathe.
Dengakuman leaped up grabbing the small black sphere and wrapped himself around it and then swallowed it into his body.
"S-sorry b-but they are my f-fri-friends..." Dengakuman weakly said and fell down dead.
"No!" Aizen shouted.
The Plague Doctor felt a sharp pain in his arm and suddenly a crack.
The Plague Doctor saw his entire right arm was cut off by Norman and Beverly with two blades and Mark with his spirit hammer to knock it right between the blades.
The Plague Doctor yelled in pain.
"I wish to regrow that limb!" The Plague Doctor shouted.
The sphere flashed and his arm was back to new.
The Plague Doctor grabbed both blades from Beverly and Norman and stabbed both of them through their chests and yanked them out to spin and slice Mark's neck bleeding out to death.
"Norman, Beverly!" Jessica cried out.
"Damn you!" Konan shouted in tears.
Zangei shot two bolt arrows into the Plague Doctors chest making him stagger and before he could shoot again, the Plague Doctor threw both swords at him.
One of the swords went through Zangei's forehead while the other stabbed right into a control panel of sorts.
Suddenly time-warping portals started appearing at random places.
"Warning Warning!" The alarm shouted.
Everyone was trying to get away from the room and Aizen and the Plague Doctor were doing battle.
"You will not win!" The Plague Doctor shouted.
Aizen head-butted him.
"Agh!" The Plague Doctor yelled falling onto the floor.
The Plague Doctor gripped the sphere tightly.
"I wish this damn planet would die!" The Plague Doctor shouted in anger.
Aizen in shock stood up and felt more rumbling.
Now the planet was beginning to shatter apart.
"Heh, it's over for you... now to grant my wish to cure-" The Plague Doctor began to say till falling to his knees.
"What's... happening?" The Plague Doctor asked feeling weaker and weaker.
"You used up all three wishes you idiot." Aizen said to him.
Aizen forcefully took the orb and the Plague Doctor fell on his back looking at Aizen.
"Aizen." The Plague Doctor said weakly.
Aizen looked at him and knelt down.
"I just wanted to cure life of all plague." The Plague Doctor said to him softly.
"If you wish that, you too would fade because everyone has an illness, all organics have too. It's apart of life." Aizen told him.
"Was I w-wrong?" The Plague Doctor asked.
"Yes." Aizen said.
The Plague Doctor tried to say something else but his eyes dilated, he was dead.
Aizen looked at the sphere in his hand but then there was a white flash of like that came from it that surrounded him and the others.
