(Open to the Cathy's house, the gang are watching a movie.)
Speedy: Why is it called 3-D?
(Danny passes him some special glasses.)
Danny: Put these on.
(Speedy wears them.)
Speedy: Woah! It looks so real!
(Speedy reaches out his hand. Alex enters the room as Speedy's hand hits him in the face)
Alex: Ow.
Speedy: Sorry, I didn't see you there.
Danny: Hey Alex. You're up early today.
Alex: You may want to check the door. There's someone outside who keeps referring me to the chosen one.
(Everyone went outside. Speedy is still wearing the glasses)
Doudo: Where is he?
Danny: Doudo?
Sam: What are you doing here?
Alex: I guess you guys know him.
Danny: The first time we met he treated Chris like royalty.
Sam: Then the second time we met we met I was dressed up by him as a princess.
Franky: Weird? (whispering to herself) I wonder how that would've went.
Sam: What?
Franky: Nothing.
Cathy: Anyways, why are you here again?
Doudo: I've come for the chosen one. From what I heard he lives here.
Alex: I have a name you know.
(Doudo kneels down and bows down to Alex.)
Doudo: All hail, chosen one. All hail, chosen one. (looks at him) I need your help. A kingdom I worked for back on Zungrab, Palace Alagres, was being hunted by a huntress. She's after the princess, so we came here for protection.
Cathy: Oh, not this again.
Danny: So you do have royalty.
Doudo: Oh most certainly. (looks behind) Ah, & here it comes now.
?: Oh Hugo, that is so funny!
Alex: Wait, we think you got the wrong guuuuuuuuuy- (A princess and Mr Smith came. Alex stopped and his eyes widened. The princess slowly stroked her hair, swaying it.) Oh my stars.. (blushes)
Cathy: Wow.. (looks at Alex) Huh? Alex? Alex? Alexander? (waves her hand on front of him) Alex? Earth to Alex?!
Alex: Wha?
Cathy: Are you okay? You kind of zoned out.
Alex: Y-yeah.. I'm just.. Experiencing this strange feeling..
Zerisa: Greetings.
Alex: (Stands blank faced) ... hi..
Zerisa: Is he alright?
(Alex faints)
Danny: Yeah..
Zerisa: I am Princess Zerisa of Palace Alagres on Zungrab. (She looks over at Doudo) I apologize for any disruptions that my servant has caused.
Sam: I'm Sam of... Planet Earth.
(The others introduce themselves.)
Alex: I'm.. I'm (gibberish)
Zerisa: Oh, I know you already.
Alex: Y-yeah..
Zerisa: You're the one foretold to help fend off the huntress.
Sam: Where did you get that information?
Zerisa: (looks at Doudo again) Royalty has its ways.
Alex: I can help! I can protect you, you beautiful- I mean Royal princess. (Alex froze with a startling realization)
Cathy: Are you sure you're okay Alex?
Danny: Yeah, you're all red in the face again.
Alex: I need to take care of something for a moment.
(Alex runs away)
Cathy: (To Danny) We should probably check on him.
(See Alex in the clubhouse pondering)
Alex: Oh (alien language) How could this happen? I didn't even think my own race was able to have that emotion at this age. But now that I do I'm going to need help figuring out how to deal with it.
(See Cathy & Danny watching Alex in the distance as he is searching for information)
Danny: Are you thinking what I'm thinking Cathy?
Cathy: Yep. He's got a love bug.
Alex: You're teasing wont do anything. I knew that you two were there for about 11 minutes now.
Danny: How? (Alex extend his mechanical arm to point at a security camera) Oh. That's how.
Cathy: So you really like her?
Alex: Maaayyybbe? (Then) Ugh. I cant keep my nose from leaking that red stuff.
Danny: Alex, that's called a nosebleed.
Alex: Nose...bleed? (blushes deep red) No no no this can't be happening.
Cathy: It's alright Alex. Love is just a normal of an emotion as happiness & despair are.
Alex: But I never knew I was capable of it now. Oh reshtnop my days are limited!
Danny: What do you mean?
Alex: Well you see, what you call love is much different with Vermals. Most of us by nature are dare I say it, blood-driven. And due to that very rarely will a Vermal ever find a significant other. But to have one actually feel the emotion of it. Well that's another story altogether.
Danny:... What?
Alex: What I'm getting at when a Vermal feels the emotion of love it's usually a tell-tale sign of things to come.
Danny: Ohhh.
Alex: And if this woman is in fact being hunted I got to make sure that I protect her with my life. It's just the Vermal way. Though I don't even know how to protect her. Let alone know what her pursuer's capable of. And from what I've heard when a Vermal defends the one that they love, nine times out of ten they... they... (A long pause is put in) they never make it out alive.
Danny: What do you mean?
Alex: Guys. I'm scared... scared of love.
Sam: Scared? Why? Alex, don't think about it. You love her!
(See Chris & Sam are in the room too)
Alex: Why are you two down here?
Chris: We came to see if things were alright.
Sam: You headed down here faster than Speedy, over something.
Alex: I'm scared.
Chris: Of what?
(Cathy explains to them what's happened)
Sam: Alex... It's okay.. You need to have confidence.
Chris: Just because you have feelings for someone doesn't mean you'll die.
Danny: And if you need help, I'm your guy. People called me "The Love Doctor".
Cathy: Hey you've got me as well. After all I've been hitting it off with Sean for quite some time now.
Danny: Commence Operation: Date a Princess.
(Then later, the two helped Alex with his love problems. Alex walked over to Princess Zerisa)
Zerisa: Oo.. This fine food is tasty. (eating a wax apple)
Alex: Are you sure that this is going to work?
Danny: Trust me. It works on Franky so it should work here.
(Alex walked closer)
Alex: (gulp) Um.. Excuse me.
(see Princess Zerisa turn around as she has a whole wax cornucopia in her mouth.)
Zerisa: (Muffled) Oh hey there. (She swallows the cornucopia whole & wipes her mouth.) Sorry about that. I guess my manners have gone a rye.
Alex: That's alright. I mean you aren't in front of a group of people here.
Zerisa: Oh (giggles) I see. Now then, what did you have to say?
Alex: I was thinking.. maybe..
Zerisa: Yes?
Alex: That I...might..
(Alex begins to stammer)
Zerisa: ?
Alex: (sigh) Never mind. I think I'll ask when not as many people are around.
Zerisa:... oh- (Alex runs off) ...kay.
Danny: Oh boy.
Cathy: (face-palms)
(See Alex hiding behind a lamp)
Cathy: Alex. Come on out.
Alex: Alex isn't here.
Danny: We can see you right there.
Alex: No you cant.
Cathy: Your arm is showing.
Alex: No.. t-that's the lamp cord.
Cathy: With mechanical fingers?
Alex: Oh Rabulton dung!
Danny: Dude you were doing so good. What happened?
Alex: I-I got nervous!
Danny: Dude, it's okay.
Cathy: (sigh) We might as well check to see who we will be dealing with.
(head back to the clubhouse where we see the database for the huntress)
?: Excellent..
(Shard appears)
Alex: Uncle Shard?
Shard: I heard you're having a little love trouble.
(Alex looks at Cathy)
Alex: I thought I told you guys to keep it a secret.
Cathy: Alex, listen. You'll need all the help you can get.
Shard: I, for once, was nervous when I first saw Olisa. I might not be able to speak for your situation seeing you are a different species & by extention a different culture. But I do know how love can affect the body emotionally. Now.. The huntress.. Her name is Extress, the rival of Zerisa. She is said that she was always the first, but when Zerisa got her spotlight, Extress swore death and gold once she took the crown.
Sam: Geez. Talk about rivalry.
Shard: Extress is also very sly, so you must make sure the princess is safe.
Alex: I.. I'll do what I can. But I don't think I can do it alone.
Cathy: Don't worry. Danny & I got your back.
(Then meanwhile at the park, Mark and his friends/slaves are walking.)
Mark: Ugh! Where is my basketball?
Servant 1: I can't find it anywhere.
Servant 2: It's just disappeared.
(See by the tree that Extress has the ball)
Mark: There! Woah! She's hot! (to Extress) Hello~ I think you might have my basketball, miss- (Extress points her gun at him) Yipe!
(look back to the MBC as we see then heading for the park.)
Alex: (gasp) It's her.
Zerisa: (humming)
Alex: Okay.. It's time..
(Then suddenly.)
Mark & slaves: Ahhh!
Sam: Oh no not Mark.
Mark: Run!
(People ran, as Extress appears)
Extress: Where's Zerisa!? Reports have it say that she was seen here.
(Zerisa gasped and ran)
Mark: We've no idea what you're talking about, honest!
Extress: (growls, then she spots Zerisa) (smirks)
Zerisa: There she is fellas.
(Alex blasts at Extress who dodges the attack. She then looks down at Alex's badge)
Extress: Oh.. so you're the one who was foretold to be Zerisa's protector. I got to admit you're a bit scrawnier than what I thought you would be.
Alex: Hey!
(Extress sees the other MBC members)
Extress: And these I suppose are your allegiance? I'd thought they would be bigger in quantity.
(Extress grabbed another gun)
Sam: Watch out!
(One blast goes for the Princess)
Alex: Zerisa! (See that a bubble forms around Zerisa as she is lifted off the ground.) Woah!
Extress: Now I'll be taking Zerisa with me. Buh-bye!
(She vanishes with a cloud of smoke)
Alex: No!
Danny: I'm not gonna lie. That was rather typical.
Alex: I'll find her mark my words.
Zerisa: Uh guys. I'm up here.
(See the bubble is stuck in a tree)
Danny: And now I retract what I said.
Alex: Are you alright?
Zerisa: Yeah. I'm just kind of... well.. stuck.
Alex: Oh I can resolve that. Hold still. (blast at the bubble)
(Alex then uses his telekinesis to gently lower Zerisa to the ground.)
Zerisa: Thank you! (hugs him)
Alex: (Heart racing) No problem.
Cathy: (To Danny) There he goes.
Danny: Got get her, tiger.
(Alex looks at Zerisa's head. He saw that her crown suddenly vanished)
Alex: Um.. Weren't you wearing something before?
Zerisa: Huh? (looks at her forehead) My crown!
Sam: Extress must've took it while she deployed that smokescreen.
Zerisa: No! That is a rare Algresian Jewel my father gave it for my birthday. It can only be handled with properly by an Algresian.
Speedy: You mean Extress might've put herself in danger?
Zerisa: Exactly.. Oh, to tell you the truth.. Extress.. Is my sister.
All: What?
Zerisa: Well she's actually a half sister. She has some Algresian genetics in her but.. Not enough to handle the crown. She'll go berserk with power!
Alex: Don't worry! I'll get that crown!
Danny: But how are we gonna find her?
Chris: Try using Heat vision. I can see the trail with this upgrade.
Alex: I'll try. (Alex uses his heat vision to track down Extress.) I've caught onto her heat signature.
Danny: You got her location?
Alex: She's in the mountain side.. & for whatever reason is building.. a castle?
All: A castle?
(Pan over to the mountain side where we see Extress is wearing the crown & is using her new found power to construct a fortress of solitude.)
Extress: Hah! Now I can rule this.. (grunts) Power...(She transforms into something dragon-like & roars)
Zerisa: We need to get that crown off of her before she is completely lost.
Alex: Wow.. She's huge.
Juan: And ferocious at that.
Zerisa: (stands up) She is my sister, and I must do it.. For her.
Alex: Wait!
Zerisa: Huh?
Alex: I'm going with you. I've been ordered to make sure that you are safe. Even if it means putting my life on the line in order to do so.
Zerisa: (smiles) Thank you. (Zerisa kissed his forehead)
Alex: (smirks confidently) Cathy, Danny. You'll back me up.
Cathy: We're right behind you, cousin.
Danny: Alright. I kind of always wanted to fight a dragon.
Cathy: (Remembering the Proskar incident) But you have.
Danny: I meant outside of a virtual reality.
Alex: (He looks at the others.) You guys keep an eye on the town to make sure that Extress doesn't summon any minions to reek havoc.
Chris: Got it.
Franky: Good luck.
(Then Zerisa and Alex walked inside. See that there are traps & enemies out the wazoo)
Alex: Oh boy.
Danny: Hey that creature looks like something from one of my games.
Cathy: Cool.
(Then one enemy shot through Danny's hair)
Danny: But much more dangerous!
Alex: I think my latest developed weapon should help out with this.
Zerisa: Really? (See Alex's blaster take on the form of a blade in shape.) Woah..
Alex: I haven't came up with a name for it yet. It acts like your common blaster but has a knock-back like effect when hit by a blast. Much like a sword in a way.
Zerisa: How about.. The Thunder of Alexander?
(Alex blushed)
Alex: I like the way you think. It'll do for now.
(Zerisa giggled, then the enemies spotted them. Alex shoots the blaster & as the blast hits one of the enemies the energy ball swings in a sword like fashion taking out anything that is around it.)
Cathy: Woah!
(Extress spotted them and roared)
Extress: You dare defy me!?
Zerisa: Extress, you're going to end yourself if you don't separate from that gem. Take off the crown!
Extress: Never! I'm always the second daughter! I want gold! I want a medal to honor myself! I'm tired of playing second fiddle to you & your mere existence! And you know what? (She picks up Zerisa off the ground)
Zerisa: Not again!
Extress: I will never, ever, EVER be second anymore! I'll see to it you are ended here & now!
Alex: Extress, wait!
Extress: And why should I?
Alex: I know what you're feeling.. You're scared.. Scared of being a shadow.. Scared of showing it to her.. You didn't even tell her the truth, but you were angry.. Too angry to show it.
Extress: You aren't fooling me a bit!
Alex: I feel it too.. Except less killing. You need to face your fear, Extress.. I know you wanted to be like Zerisa.
(Extress's eyes started to turn normal.)
Extress: (shed tears) You don't know how I feel! You don't! You don't know what it feels like to be completely overlooked by your own parents & ignored by your own kingdom. Being treated as if you shouldn't exist.
Alex: You're right on that. Unlike you at a time I didn't have parents. And at a point I was treated as if I didn't have the right to be. But I managed to fight through it knowing that no matter how bad things could get there is always going to be a silver lining to a dark cloud. (He looks at Danny & Cathy) And my silver lining is the MBC. They treated me like I had the right to exist. They became my family. They helped to make me feel brave even in times where I normally don't. Now please.. Take off that crown..
(The crown glowed green, as Extress roared.)
Extress: I-I can't! It's controlling me! (roars)
Danny: Alex, run!
Alex: I can't. I gave my word to make sure Zerisa was safe no matter what.
Zerisa: Extress, try to calm down.
(Extress tried, but the strength of the power took her mind. Some of the castle crumbles onto her knocking the crown off. Extress reverts back to normal as she & Zerisa start to fall. Alex & Cathy become airborne to catch them both Cathy holding an unconscious Extress with Alex holding Zerisa.)
Zerisa: Thank you..
Alex: Anything for you, your highness. Now let's meet up with the others.
(They end up walking back into town when..)
Alex: (hears a rumbling noise) Look out!
(Alex pushes the others out of the way as a part of a tower falls down on him.)
All: Alex!
(They run over to the pile of rubble.)
Zerisa: Alex! (she pushes the tower blocks away. See Alex has been knocked out) Alex! (she then gives him CPR. But nothing happens)
Cathy: No!
Danny: The tell-tale sign. He wasn't kidding.
Zerisa: I never even got to say how I felt about him. Alex... I.. I've had a crush on you ever since I saw you in pictures & that was only strengthened when I got to meet you in person.
Cathy: Come on Alex. Hang in there.
Danny: Stay strong.
(Alex opened his eyes)
Zerisa: (gasp) Alex? Ale-mmmph~
(Zerisa is cut off as she is kissed)
Alex: Mmmph~ I felt the same way about you.
(Zerisa blushes. See the others head over to see them.)
Sam: Took him long enough.
Chris: Oh! Should we-
(The others decide to give them a little privacy. Then back at the clubhouse.)
Extress: (hugging Zerisa) I'm sorry.. For everything I have done.
Zerisa: Don't worry, Extress. (She gives her the crown, without the gem in it) I believe that you should've earned this a long time ago.
Extress: But.. I thought you wanted it.. Mom and Dad gave it to you.
Zerisa: Time has come, and You are now another princess of Palace Alagres. Since I'm going to be staying here for the time being someone will be needed back home to rule over to kingdom. And I believe that you will do splendidly.
Extress: But why would you give up such an honor?
(Shard comes in)
Zerisa: Truth is... I am now apart of MBP.
Shard: Yes she is.
Alex: Wait you mean you're staying here?
Zerisa: Yes..
Shard: She will be learning about Earth's royal legends since she has learned some from my daughter.
Cathy: That's me.
Shard: All in the need to stay close to my nephew.
Alex: That would be me.
Zerisa: In other words.. (picks up Alex and kisses him)
Extress: I promise to make you proud, sis.
(Zerisa hugs Extress one last time before she leaves with Doudo.)
Zerisa: (Looks at Alex) Now where were we?
(Alex blushes as they continue kissing romantically)
Sam: We should probably give them their space.
(Everyone leaves the room as the Marathon Logo shows up)
