Chapter 6: The Journey Ends
They heard footsteps approach and walking up to them was the Oracle of the ice mountain.
"How did you get here?" Kakuzu asked.
"And why are you here?" The black half of Zetsu added.
"I traveled for three days to get here, I know almost everywhere on this planet and I began to travel when you began your crusade toward Ardougne. To give you a warning of the coming future." The Oracle said.
"What?" Deidara asked confused.
The Oracle walked up to Aizen and put her hand on his head.
"For his eyes." The Oracle said.
Aizen's eyes were shut as he was seeing what vision she saw and after a couple of minutes, she took her hand off his head.
Aizen opened his eyes looking at her, he was quiet.
"What did you see?" Jessica asked.
Aizen gripped the hilt of his sword.
"I have new enemies here." Aizen said.
"Through this whole mess? The planet is falling apart!" Pain shouted.
Everyone looked around.
"Where are they?" Jessica asked.
"Gin, can you check behind us real quick." Aizen asked.
Gin nodded and ran to the back while everyone faced the entrance they come through.
The Oracle, however, had a sad look on her face.
Everyone looked at the entrance and Aizen took a few steps back grabbing the Oracles' shoulder.
"Do what you must, if power is all you want." The Oracle said.
Aizen stabbed his sword through her back out of her chest and quietly dropped her body down before walking to the others.
"Who are the enemies Aizen!?" Hidan asked.
Aizen typed on the console and opened another time portal.
Everyone looked at him confused and noticed the Oracle.
"What the hell...?" Konan asked confused.
Aizen's image soon shifted around and immediately Kakuzu's shoulder squirted blood and he fell onto the floor in pain.
"No way!" Hidan yelled.
"Aizen!?" Jessica shouted confused.
Hidan swung his blade at Aizen but it only went through him like a ghost.
Aizen then appeared nearby with his blade having blood on it.
Hidan and Kisame fell over with blood squirting out of their backs from a blade attack.
"He's using his hypnosis ability!" Pain yelled.
Konan fired her paper ability at Aizen and Pain sent a shinra tensei blast.
However, his body just shifted left and right without looking at them and immediately both of them fell over with blood coming from their stomachs.
Itachi with his Sharingan activated seen the movements and caught Aizen's arm.
Aizen just stared at him with an unamused look.
Suddenly Itachi felt the reiatsu pressure on his body which made him fall to his knees and then Aizen uppercut his chest slicing him.
Deidara and Sasori jumped toward Aizen and Deidara sent out a few bombs that exploded but Aizen wasn't there.
Instead, his bombs hit Sasori while the Sasori who leaped with him was in fact Aizen playing an illusion and immediately sliced Deidara's shoulder making him fall over in pain.
Jessica stood there in awe at what just happened and shivered in fear as Aizen looked at her.
"Why!" Jessica cried out.
"Aizen?" Gin asked walking in confused.
"I had a vision where all of you wanted a piece of the power of the sphere. I'm afraid that isn't going to happen, I said that I want the power, all of it." Aizen said.
"You used us!" Jessica shouted.
"No, I am stopping all of you and doing this for your own goods to prepare for what is to come." Aizen said.
"What is to come...?" Gin asked.
Zetsu stood nearby not saying nothing.
Jessica yelled running at Aizen with her magic abilities at full power surging around her body.
Suddenly Jessica didn't move and Aizen's blade was already through her chest out of her back and he was hugging her.
"I loved you." Aizen told her.
Aizen let his blade slide out while she gasped in tears and pain and then died.
Gin's eyes were open showing bright blue cyan iris'.
"Explain why." Gin growled while holding his sword.
Aizen sheathed his blade while walking up to the sphere and gripping onto it.
"The future there is going to be a galactic invasion. Before that however, will be a war of sorts. The Oracle said that the future shifts all the time so it isn't precise on who wins the war but there is a coming invasion of this galaxy. One that needs preparation to stop. It also showed me how everyone here would use the Sphere for two wishes only and how they'd ruin my plans of ruling this planet- this galaxy." Aizen said.
"You are letting power get to your mind." Gin said.
"I always have. I told you this when you joined me of my goal and how Karura was out for the same goal as me." Aizen said.
"Why." Gin asked.
"Because only a victor can protect what he rules. He or she is strong enough to do just that." Aizen said.
"You didn't attack us." The white half of Zetsu said.
"Because I ask you a favor like Gin here. I want you to take your organization into that time portal over there. It will take you to a year in the future that they must help someone, a girl named Serenity and her teammates. They don't need to know why because they will later know why on their own. I want you to put an amnesia potion in their bodies and after you all win, give them the antidote to remember what happened here." Aizen said.
"You aren't going to tell us what's up?" The black half of Zetsu asked.
"No, you do not need to worry about it." Aizen said.
"What of Jessica, you outright killed her." Gin said.
"A necessary loss for what I'm about to do. She would have lived in the suffering of not seeing me." Aizen said.
"Where are you going?" Gin asked.
"I am going into the sphere itself, into its power to become a God." Aizen said.
Gin and Zetsu were surprised.
"I want you to go with Zetsu. You will end up in the future a few years before this war happens. Stay at a distance and watch, learn, explore." Aizen said.
They looked at Aizen speechless.
"Please." Aizen said.
Gin sighed and walked to the portal.
"Jessica loved you." Gin told him.
"I did too." Aizen said.
"Thank you sir." The black half of Zetsu said.
Zetsu threw in the Akatsuki members who was still groaning in pain into the time portal.
"We hope we see you again." The white half of Zetsu said.
Zetsu entered the portal next.
Gin stood there looking at Aizen.
"I didn't want power, I wanted a friend." Gin said.
"Why I let you live." Aizen said.
Gin looked at him for a few seconds before walking into the portal.
Aizen typed on the console and the portal closed.
Suddenly a harsh rumble was felt and Alexander was falling apart along with the planet.
"I best prepare now." Aizen said holding the sphere tightly.
"I wish to become one with your power!" Aizen shouted.
The sphere flashed and engulfed him in light.
A second later the planet exploded along with its moon.
Aizen awoke inside of the sphere itself and in some strange realm.
Aizen couldn't move and he was naked inside of it.
"So this is what being a God is like, stuck alone with all knowledge." Aizen said to himself.
Aizen suddenly saw a vision and without the help of the oracle and seen sometime in the future he'd see Serenity.
Aizen smiled.
"I guess I won't be alone in the years to come. I guess gaining such power wasn't worth it in the end." Aizen said to himself.
"Show me, my child." Aizen said.
He seen a faint vision of Starrk and Levi on another planet with the other survivors and greeted by Batarians and thus meaning they landed on the Batarian homeworld.
"You are safe. You won't be in a terrible future to come, I must prevent this invasion somehow. I hope this Serenity can help me." Aizen said.
Aizen remained alone inside the Sphere for nine hundred and seven years, gaining knowledge and power but loneliness. Until a girl named Serenity came into the realm he was stuck in.
907 years later. This takes place after, Cosmic Divine Crystalline EPISODE XIV, and after he was freed and the war was over.
Aizen and Gin landed the Normandy that they stole onto a platform on the Batarian homeworld.
"What planet is this?" Gin asked.
"The world Starrk took my daughter." Aizen said.
The two ventured off the ship and headed to the main district building and spoke to a few Batarian authorities before making it to a data center over past people that arrived on the planet, lived on the planet, and died on the planet.
Then a day later the two were at another part of the planet and looked at a cemetery stone of names.
"There they are." Aizen said.
The names Coyote Starrk and Leviathan Starrk were listed as deceased.
"It says here Starrk died when he was eighty-three and Leviathan died when she was eighty-seven." Gin said.
"They lived full lives." Aizen said.
"It says she was married and then lists two children that had children of their own and vice versa before it says the family left the planet at about the third generation. I guess she made a lineage for you and possibly still out there somewhere." Gin said.
Aizen smiled and placed his hand on it.
"Jessica would be proud." Aizen said.
"You know it says there was a Jess Kivail that was alive but died in the war." Gin said.
"Who knows, could have been a doppelganger or something." Aizen said with a shrug.
The two of them walked away from the cemetery stone.
"What happens now?" Gin asked.
"I have given you the ability to be immortal like me. But not invincible." Aizen said.
"My my, keeping that invincibility for yourself?" Gin asked.
"No ones truly invincible." Aizen said.
"So what do we do now though?" Gin asked again.
"We wait. The Akatsuki served their purpose of helping Serenity and her teammates." Aizen said.
"That girl did what you couldn't. United everyone and not by force." Gin said.
Aizen remained silent and the two headed back to the Normandy.
"Come, we have a galaxy to explore for the time being." Aizen said.
19 years later on the planet Naboo.
Aizen walked out of a coffee shop taking a sip of coffee.
Watching him was the Sphere which was the Crystalline to some.
It floated in the air and there was faint laughter coming from within it, thus meaning something or someone was possessing it and for who knows how long they have been, possibly even before Aizen found it.
A man with green hair and glasses was writing in a book and had a smile on his face.
Aizen walked by him.
"This was the Journey of Aizen." The man said.
Aizen turned his head thinking he heard his name and didn't see no one, the man with green hair was gone.
Aizen thought for a moment before continuing walking while sipping coffee looking around the city of Theed.
In a flashback, we see Aizen and all of his friends that was alive just laying on the grass somewhere looking at the clouds together and talking to one another about random things. Jessica was snuggled up to Aizen looking at the clouds with him.
"I'll never let you go." Jessica said.
"And I'll never let you go." Aizen said.
The scene begins to fade to dark as everyone was just chatting amongst one another about random things and pointing at the clouds and what they might look like.
