Its a short accompanying story cover the events on one night when Mac and Dick were both out in a bar giving Veronica and Logan some couple space and ended up having to confront their own issues. Mac and Dick are about to hit a new phase in their relationship, which is great, except dealing with the future also means dealing with the past, and neither one of them exactly has the simplest or nicest backstory... When she returns, she will discover that maybe she wasn't quite ready to leave Neptune so soon as she does NOT like the new friends that have been inserted into her world. However, she isn't one to just let things happen.

Mac is badly injured and as she fights to live, she finds herself back in time living life as Madison Sinclair. Would her life be better as Madison than Mac? AU/magical realism, similar set up to "Peggy Sue Got Married," an old 80's movie. VM version. Mac, Dick, Madison, Logan and Veronica. Eventual MaDi...Timeline skips around from 2009 to back to HS.

This is the sequel to "LoVe Forged in Fire". It takes place after Logan and Veronica's honeymoon. They now must balance college with their newly married life. Mac and Dick must face a new challenge that will reveal if they can endure what life throws at them as a couple. Eventual serial killer storyline. Much suspense in later chapters.
